  1. I believe there is one on each wheel in front and one on top of differential in rear.
  2. May be somewhat difficult to disassemble!
  3. Lots of trips to salvage yard for missing parts/fasteners is what I see.
  4. Couldn't you just put it in 4lo?
  5. You can purchase some very inexpensive clamps to clamp off your hoses and take a much more limited fuel bath. I believe I got mine at oreillys.
  6. I just installed a set of RV 275s as well. Am pleased with the results but have not towed with them yet.
  7. I believe ibmobile has an edge ez
  8. Can you explain that wheel spacer lying on the floor. Had one on my 98, but only on the right side
  9. The larger diameter exhaust tip, the larger the firewood, and more points!
  10. Maybe you can get a couple extra bolts of the correct size and cut the heads off. Start these in 2 of the holes. Drop on gasket then plate. This will keep everything lined up. Not sure if you have room for this.
  11. Stop driving the 1/2 ton and maybe it will seem better?
  12. Possibly the rear brake cylinder upgrade would help. Maybe try disabling rear brake valve that senses load .
  13. Several times I have accidentally pulled the line off of the vacuum pump while working on something else. You can use rubber vacuum line to splice a break in a pinch
  14. Has anyone ever done a write up on an anti theft switch?
  15. Sorry to hear about the hail damage. On the intake, can you machine an o-ring groove?
  16. Was just thinking about the sign ive seen a few places. Labor rate is $50/ hr, $75 if you watch, $100 if you help. I wasn't trying to insult you or anything. I would want to watch and learn too.
  17. Are you planning to supervise this project? Haha
  18. Has a gold tint. Does that indicate price?
  19. Didn't know where to put this. May need to move it somewhere else. I was planning on rebuilding the engine in this 98 12 valve someday. Have tried to sell it, but my wife loves the truck and priced it so high no one was interested. Have a co worker with a 17 year old son who wanted a diesel, so got to talking, they came and looked at it, made an offer, did some negotiating, waved some cash in my wife's face, and they took it home. It needs a lot of work, mainly engine rebuild. Good fixer upper for a kid. Should learn a lot. My grandsons were here for the sale. They are 7 and 8. They spent a lot of time in that old truck from birth to about age 4 or 5. They were crying as the new owner loaded it up. The oldest grandson told his mother that he is going to find that dodge and buy it back! Life goes on....
  20. Got new pump. No difference! Should have checked fuel pressure with a separate gauge to begin with. I thought I had 2 pounds but had 30 pounds. The isspro gauge I have came with an elbow that goes on the gauge, because of this I had a kink in the high quality plastic line that also comes with the gauge. Installed a straight compression fitting, re bled line, and backed pressure waaay down. All is good again, hopefully. If vp44 seal leaks because of excessive fuel pressure, how will I tell?
  21. I was able to find rebuild kit locally. It cost a little more but had it in hand right away
  22. Can you put a battery disconnect switch in those wires?
  23. I downloaded holset turbo repair manual from holset website for reference
