This 96 mod just started this misterious crack the throttle after he was pleged with alge in the fuel. Says everything was cleaned up, droped tank and it was spotless. I thought air leak after he said droped tank. :shrug:Truck has about 80k, all stock but the fuel plate. And that was just minior work there.

When eng is cold my friends 12v will fire right up but when hot eng will crank a try to start but no go, crack the throttle and it will fire right up.What's up with that?

A rancher I do a lot of repair work for has a 06 I think, 6.0 and he was hauling 3 bulls when the turbo went out. So he takes it to Ford and they fix at it and 4k later he gets a call to come get it. Check this out though, the truck only has 10k on it. He only used it to haul loads with. So 10k worth of hauling and what 35k new.:lmao:I told him to get Dodge.Oh yea he asked Ford if they would work with him due to it still smells new on the inside.:lmao:

Just be sure to capture the the freon. There is extreme pressure in there.

Dont mean to hijack but what would it take to run boost elbow on stock eng with no programer? I left my boost elbow on when I took edge ez off and it kept throwing cell light so I removed boost elbow.

She only has 39k on the ole clock. I hope it dont have gunk build up.

How many qt will it take to just change filter? And how many will flush take? 18qt is what my buddy's machine holds.

If you dont need the dual disk, I would go with a southbend ofe. If I remember right I think I payed 650, but that was flywheel and all. All you need is 13" clutch and bearings, piolt and throw out.

The rattling noise you described sounds like broke clutch springs. Dont hold the clutch in at red lights, put it in nuetral. You will eventually scar up the input shaft and it will then break or lock up.

Did you write down serial # to send back to A/D before you mounted it to the frame? :lmao: Guess who didnt.

I have heard there is no diff. heat sheild or not. The heat sheild that I build will help keep mud and water from splashing up on it. But I dont see it making any diff.

It finally stumbled a little this morning. I watched the tach drop a little,I mean just a little then the motor, like turning on the AC and the light came on. What a joke, as many cam sensors as I threw at this truck back when I had all that trouble and now I get to use one of the three new one's I have.
