  1. below pic was taken a year or so ago, while I was out cutting firewood, I saw this huge limestone wall/rock outcropping, that had this algae on it. I thought it'd make a cool pic. 2. Mike, we just went from 70s on Saturday, to 1/2" freezing rain, topped with 4" snow last night..
  3. Krudkuttr on one I just finished a tbelt, steering line and valve cover gasket replacement on. Get kuttr. At Lowes Sent from my HTC Hero CDMA using Tapatalk
  4. The above pic is of my friends Bimmer. Yes, the rusty hood is 'on purpose'.. some wild mushrooms in my front yard last spring: Lastly, some opened seed pods out on the farm, last year...
  5. very thin wrenches for removing the fan/fan clutch.. similar to this:
  6. forgot to update, sorry guys.. It won't work. Well, it "would", but it requires relocating the rear-view mirror downward on the windshield. If you look at my pictures previously posted, you'll notice the 03+ mirror is much lower.. There isn't enough adjustment in the current position to accommodate the 3g style overhead mount. Not even close.
  7. ^^^ that's what I was contemplating doing..Nice avatar, btw
  8. If it's silver, it should be one of these: Bright Silver Metallic Clearcoat S2/WS2 Bright Silver Pri Metallic Clearcoat SB/WSB Dodge vehicle color codes can be preceded by an letter such as P or Q. For example if you are looking for color code W7/GW7, it may appear on your vehicle as PW7/GW7 or QW7/GW7 or RW7/GW7, etc. It's weird that you list a different one.. edit: PFA or could be PFK --- Update to the previous post... mkay... could apparently be a PS2, PSB, DT9078, DT9079... Depends on where you look, online. Just refer to here:
  9. I know this is an old thread; almost a year old...But it seems to have just "stopped" once Apache posted his findings... What ever happened?
  10. Coolant Temp fooler.
  11. my miracle cleaner: Let me find a before/after pic of my old civic's engine bay, after using this stuff.. edit: Here's a semi-before pic. It was actually a LOT dirtier than this. This is after Simple Green.. And here's after KrudKutter (air intake back on, as well)
  12. sorta.. you'll possibly need to change a couple connectors at the trans, but it should work, aside from that. --- Update to the previous post... Additionally, I'll add that my '96 (albeit older) was originally an auto truck. I converted it to 5speed, and ran the auto harness for several months. My only illnesses with it were that the Trans Temp light stayed on, and and I had to change 2 connectors at the trans. Later, I swapped to a manual trans harness and ecm, because someone was in search of one to swap with their manual stuff, so I did.
  13. My 5" DE tbe came with a 4" down pipe and 4to5" adapter, then 5" the rest of the way. I pulled my 9000lb trailer today, and the exhaust tone was deep, but not really loud. Sounded damn good, IMO.
  14. Nice, Don. Thanks for sharing (I didn't know what the firs pic you wanted was of..)How much did the socket thingy run ya?
  15. yeah, i know the thread is different, but that's not worth the $150 extra! :banghead:For 150-200$, I can put a couple aftermarket gauges in.
  16. I look up prices on the napaonline site, since my local store is usually within a couple bucks of that.. I ALWAYS shop prices before I buy a replacement part. As for the OP6725, that's still an insane price for a freaking oil pressure switch.. Not just NAPA, but any place.. Everywhere is way too expensive for that thing. Especially when a gasoline engine's OPS is like $20 bucks.
  17. here's a better side picture..BTW, my truck is in the latest TDR mag
  18. this is absolutely correct..
  19. I have my choice of local places: AutoZone Advance Auto Car Quest Napa Motion Auto Pep Boys AZ and AA are usually one in the same. Although I usually drive past AZ to get to AA. I used to be a store mgr for AZ, and they treated me (us) like poo.. So I tend to avoid them. NAPA seems to have to order everything I need, and it's usually 20-50% more expensive. Pep Boys... well.. They DONT have everything but gas.. It always amazed me that as big as that place is, they never seem to have what I'm looking for, their counter people are brain-dead, and the only thing you can usually walk in, pick up and pay for, is something in the stereotypical aisles.. Car Quest (the one here is an actual distribution center) ALWAYS has what I need.... At a price.. But IF I need something and can't wait, here's where I go. Sometimes, their normal parts pricing will beat AA or AZ. Motion Auto Parts is basically a NAPA and CQ peddler, with a mark-up. So, if I'm not in a rush (if I can wait a day or two) I ALWAYS use RockAuto.com. Cheaper prices, BY A MILE!! Case in point, I am currently looking to replace my 24 valver's Oil pressure sender, since mine is stuck at 40psi.. Yes, key-on, engine-off, I show 40psi OP.. 2001 Dodge Ram Cummins Oil Pressure Sender: NAPA = $225 Echlin Ignition ECH OP6725 AA = $213 BWD S4192 AZ = $192 Duralast PS398 RA = $155 SMP PS407 2001 Ram 2500 Radiator AA= $341 Ready Rad 43-2464 NAPA= $303 Spectra NR2464 AZ= $240 Spectra 432464 RA= $166 Vista-Pro 432464 ...funny, all the part numbers are the same, with 3 different "brands"... makes a guy wonder..LOL 2005 Hyundai Sonata GL 2.4L Radiator NAPA= $299 Altrom ATM 1533408 AA= $180 Spectra 43-1501 RA= $89 Spectra Premium CU2339 Just a few examples, there. As you can see, I'm a price-shopper. And I always get at least 5% off on the RA orders, which usually covers the shipping fees.
