  1. I had those 3 in mind when I made that statement. Grew up on the stoodges.
  2. I resemble that remark!! With a leaky rear main and a freshly replace head gasket my head is under my hood every fill up.
  3. Shazam!! Hope he got the truck for 3 grand. That thing ought to be covered in every lubricant known to man. That is a huge list.
  4. Bought a tank of fuel today and I open the hood to look and check the oil. This what I find. Going to coolant babies at at any moment. Auto Zone 1/4 mile away has one. Go down and get it and not one pair of channel locks for the spring clamps. Hey I am at AZ, free loaner tools and they dont have any either. Managed to get them off with the tools at hand. Grab what I thought was a jug of 50/50 mix of coolant and out pours 2 stroke oil. Only pored a couple table spoons and figure I'll fill it with water and flush out when get home. Me nor AZ have anything to put water in, so the manager gave me a gallon of 50/50 mix for free. Cant beat that. Got yall with that title.
  5. I believe that is Tyvek done left the building!!
  6. I spent 14.5 months working around DC and now I am in Atlanta. Traffic here and there slows to the point you cant idle in first gear without over taking folks. On top of that the drive home thru SC has about 60 miles of road construction. My left leg is taking a beating with that crap. Those days an auto would be a blessing. Told the wife I would buy a new one if she would drive it. She says "I ain't driving a stick." I told her it would be auto in a new one. She seemed a bit better on that smiled a bit. Sure was tempting at that moment.
  7. Youch!! Does sound like a warraty call. You did mighty good with the OE tranny.

    Thats what I was thinking.
  10. Is this guy a paying cutomer or some dead beat looking for a free ride????
  11. Cool to see to electric pump guys convince another guy for good fuel pressure into buying a mechanical pump. Good pressure is the way to go no matter how you get there. Especially on a VP truck.

Is there any tuning port that is added for any of these tuners? That is what threw me off as to tuning ports with what Laura had mentioned.
  13. No experience here with either mechanical pumps but plenty with a gallon of most any beer, UK or USA. Either will tend to delay or slow down a repair. Keep a stiff upper my friend.
  14. Sharp loking truck Mr. Ford.

Welcome Laura. What makes you think there is a tune on the truck?
  17. The article I read was about new Jeeps and under warranty repairs. How wide spread the problem is I dont know.
  18. Sometimes your the windshield others the bug.
  19. Thats got to make you wonder since the spare is working. When mine went it was hard to find anyone who knew much about them. Found this place during my searches but after the battle.
  20. I have the same pump. Did not know it could go that high. My latest replacement was 19 to 20 psi out of box which suits me fine.
