  1. It is the caster you move to do this. My understanding is you can move them all the way forward and be safe with smaller tires. I am by far not the expert on it. Going to move mine forward one day when I get into the front end again and see how I like it.
  2. No camber adjustments on the 4 wd, just toe and caster. Unless you have ever with the caster bolts they will probbably break. They are not terribly expensive just to replace.
  3. Butter it up. Helps it slide down.
  4. She didn't have shave @Mopar1973Man's girlfriend from Cali.
  5. Where does the power for the ECM come from? It looks like it might be loosing power briefly, hence the WTS light coming on and off like start up on a warm engine. ????
  6. Could you not just sight thru them and see if any thing is in there? Might be able to knock anything out with a stiff wire. I think I would try that before just putting new ones in.
  7. I think its more fun to watch you eat popcorn. @Octafish I cant add anything to cryo stuff.

Welcome to the forum. DAP or Vulcan Performance will give as good a deal on pump as anyone and both are vendors here. The take pretty good care of us here. I too have experienced the in tank pump. While having problems with dead pedal and bucking I had the truck checked out. Turns out my was 5 at idle and pretty much 0 at WOT. I added a booster pump and it cured my issues completely. An Air Dog or Fass electric fuel pumps are good additions or there are a couple mechanical pumps out there that holding up well for several members. Start a thread about it over in the 2nd gen forums. You will bigger responses there. And again welcome.
  9. Thats why there is a core charge. He has to have the core to rebuild. New is going more because every thing is new. You are providing him some parts with said core.
  10. My AD has both return lines and the pick up in basket. Been that way for 8 years now. The pick up is on the bottom and the returns are about 2.5" above. I run tank down to about 3 gallons left on a regular basis and not once has the truck acted any different full or low. Not saying that is not your problem just my experience with my truck. On mine I would more suspicious of suction side of the pump.
  11. You can get a better ratio one but have that core as I understand. And far as I know it is rebuilt to stock specs. The R&R on yours is the same he sells as Blue Top. This my interpretation from visiting his site.
  12. It almost reads like the truck came with them but they are swapping them out with thicker ones. Mine never had any unless the tire co threw them away when I bought my first set of tires.
  13. When removing my pump the first time every thing I read about doing said the gear can't come out of position with the pump off. I tend to believe aftermseeing insidemthe gear case. Bur every once in a while someone would say it can move. Not sure I want see if it can just test the theory. I agree that it sounds like a timing issue but there is only one way I know to check the gear.
  14. I think that would be a major accomplishment. Maybe i need to try that one. I have BFH.
  15. me too. did it shim the hub bearing? i never saw any TSB's on the steering. of course I never looked for any. you want to share where you got them?
  16. I agree on that. How are your battery connections? Nice clean and dry? Eiminate the simple stuff.
  17. Did you have to pull the rockers to get to them?
  18. Fixed haed gasket and what happens 40 minutes ago? Trucks gotma choppy idle and is surging abit with a 236 code. Ride over to the store for ice and the temp gauge pegs and throws another code. 118 IIRC? Over volt on the ect gauge. As soon as the gauge dropped back. Smooth idle and no surging. Damn electrical gremlins.
  19. I had the reverse problem. Could start the truck just fine and then could pull the key out of the switch while the truck was running. Wore the key out after 17 years. I put a new switch in mine about year ago but dont remeber how I did it. I dont remember any issues while swapping the cylinder from one to the other. I'll keep thinking.
  20. I wouldn't do it unless I just had to. But would not leave it that way for the reasons above.
  21. Is it just me or did she forget to shave?
  22. I did spell her name wrong. Bodil Ask. You can see how high I ranked in high school. A lot of talk about her but I seem to be the anonymous escort.
  23. The scan tool should still pull the code or codes.
  24. will the scan tool not comunicate with the trucks computers?
  25. Have you checked for any trouble codes? Was it doing this prior to the AD install?
