Look on Rock Auto. A new Remy starter for 120 bucks plus shipping. Cant be much different to any other parts store starters. I know my starter sees alot of starts on a daily basis. Some days 5 or 6, most days 10 or 20. Just the nature of my job. Do you do a lot of sort tripping on a daily basis?

Seeing snow and sunshine at the same time out my way is a bit unusual.

I still have the blue stuff yhat came with the AD. It is cracking a little on the outside but not leaking. I still have the AD quick disconnects that are still going strong.

I went with a new AZ when OE went out. Replaced it once under warranty. Those got me to about 420k and the last one was new Remy from Rock Auto. I wish I had known way back then how easy they were to repair.

We were in the 70's for a week. Cooled off some but the rain is coming back. Sitting with another finished building and no parking lot.

We all care and are glad that your problem is solved. We sometimes diverge from topic and have some fun. But ultimately helping to solve the problem is everyones goal here. I hope to do the same with mine. After retirement me and the truck are going to lay back alot. But I still think I will see the 500k before retirement. Hopefully the VP I have will get me to that galaxy and beyond. Who knows.

The cut outs in my bumper are rectangular also. The plastic inserts behind the bumper have the round holes for the fog lights. This is for a non Sport bumper. Not sure what the sport bumper is like. On a different note, I like either Canadian or American whiskey when some ine else is buying.

All the more reason to keep the VP. Maybe not a perfect pump at 10 benjamins but a p pump conversion of 40 benaimans, I would have to leave it to someone smarter than me to justify the swap and give me the money.

I have agree with @Dieselfuture. For what it cost me to p pump the truck i could buy 3 or four VP's. I have alteady bought one so i have 3 left before I am even. I have pros and cons on fuel addatives but the 2 stroke a good fuel pressure has served me well and I will continue both. Not trying say you are wrong at all, just my personal opinion. My present VP has 245k on it and seems to be working fine. Who knows maybe it will go another 100k.

I have a 4" exhaust and it is a bit closer to the spare under the bed. I checked a few time after the exhaust and it was never as warm as the 4 tires on truck so I quit worrying about my self. The winch did fail about a year ago and I replaced it with a new one. I guess I am just happy with it hanging where it is.

Got hit with my first problem getting out of the truck this am and they did not stop until I left. I feel a week of Mondays coming on. Trying not to count mine.

There was no real way to tune smoke out. Even on sub level one it would still smoke some and the throttle response sucked. I would always have to roll into the throttle to clear the smoke with some boost and then mat it

We bought the wife a 2000 Dakota back in 01. Came with a 4.7. It had a Jett chip and Borella headers on it. The sob would fly. I have no idea how what kind power that added but when traded it on a new 06 with the same engine it was like driving a 6 cylinder untill you wound it up. Surely ther is something out there you can that is similar.

I am sure it is a mistake. Just another good reason to call before you buy. I van see you infront of a computer screen responding, "Dont these people know that you spell dumb a$$ with 2 ss and $$ signs".

I ran my comp with RVs and put in a set of 50s and the smoke difference was a bit intolerable. The only way I could negate the smoke was with my foot. It was quite annoying. The RVs smoke some but clear up fast enough not worry about it.
