Left turn signal working wipers
Mine went out a few weeks ago. When I hit the brights the wiper would move a couple inches. The wipers would barely move and I had to take one off just get the driver side to work. At first I thought it was the wiper motor but I was getting wacky readings on the motor harness so just got both the motor and multi switch. The switch fixed it.

Well I guess one could put a little recirculating pump on the heater line and circulate warm water thru the core. I smell another mod coming.- Pilothouse/RAM3500 build
You know @PilotHouse2500 I do enjoy watching this truck come together. What you are doing is so far out my league that it is immeasurable. I cant often make a comment. Today is the exception. What did you use the weed wacker on thats laying behind front wheel?- Injector questions, which vendors?
Nothing like a good ole arab oil embargo to jack up the prices.- Block heater usage question
You are talking about an electric heater in the cab right? The block heater wont do that.- Block heater usage question
Mine is always happier when I warm it up before turning the key when gets in the 20's.- Injector questions, which vendors?
I think I was making about 2 bucks an hour back then too.- Block heater usage question
When it gets down into the 20's I will either set it up on a timer or just plug in when I get up. 45 minute to an hour will get the block up to around 60* or a bit more. You might experiment with the time needed to get warn. Leaving plugged all night is a waste where I live.- Drawstraw Users - How low can you go?
Its not the basket itself. It is what you put in the basket. The return fuel that is. Mine has the lift pump return and the engine return into the basket. They both heat the fuel up. And when you have a low tank it can get pretty warm. If you have a draw straw picking up fuel outside the basket the return fuel can mix with the rest of the tank and cool it down. If you are pulling fuel from the basket it can get pretty warm.- Injector questions, which vendors?

Thats all I have too. Never really worried about.- (Any former military on here?) I'm seeking guidance for choosing an MOS
They were broadcasting the lottery on the radio. I sat in the car listening long enough for them to pull March 6 number one. I turned the radio and clocked in figuring I was pretty safe since the 7th was my b'day. Get home and see the 7th was pulled a minute later as #2. Oh well. @sooxies Good luck in the military. Its not bad choice at all.- (Any former military on here?) I'm seeking guidance for choosing an MOS
@015point9 Just made 47 years last September. But I think I am the pay clerk at my house. Semper fi. I borrowed that from my Dad. He was Marine back in the early 40's. Tricky Dicky kept me out of the military. #2 in the draft, TD ended it the year I would gone.- volt gauge at 0
Well no one had an alternator other than Advance. They Car Quest reman for $120. Got 20% of plus 10 with coupon. Got for less than 90 bucks and the truck is charging again. Now to find my good DVM and check the AC ripple. Unfortunately that will have to happen Saturday. Got to work all day tomorrow and wont have time until then. Did not get it tested there because no one knows what to look for. Fingers crossed.- Drawstraw Users - How low can you go?
My AD has been sucking fuel from the basket for 9 years with no issue and both my fuel returns go to the basket . I cannot check temps like others can but nothing odd has happened to me with this configuration. I can drain the tank dry. Not saying fuel temp can't be an issue but I have experienced none. I would not sweat it for now but if it concerns you do it when you have time.- VP44 DAP
@Mopar1973Manis dead right on that one. Your new is only as good as the older one.- Battery Temp Sensor question
One of the reasons I disconnected mine was due to one of the insulators on bolt was partially melted. Not alot but enough to make wonder what was happening. So I just disconnected them to be safe.- Injector questions, which vendors?

She ran fine all day today. kept me warm for 3 hours and took where I needed to go. Then about 4 miles from the job going home it dropped out again. This time no charge just battery voltage. I made home alright. I was just going to post up on the field lead. I do have 12v on both wires with the engine running. So it is alternator time. It is 6 years old with 200k on it so maybe I was due. Now to find one, hope to fix it tonight.- volt gauge at 0
Made it all the way to work no problems.- volt gauge at 0
Thanks @Tractorman. I have had my gauge go to the 8v position a few times over the years, once with a failed alt. This is the first I have seen go dead left just like switch was off. Matter of fact mine goes to the 8v mark at key on then slowly rises towards the 14v mark before it settles there after engine start. I hope its just one off thing since it was working when I went and restarted it. We shall see what tomorrow brings. I do have spare cluster in case something is wrong with it. I guess I have to eat a little crow. Just went and turned the truck on and the gauge went to 12v and in off position to 8v. For some reason I was thinking the 12 was 8 and the 8 was 0. Crow aint as good as chicken.- volt gauge at 0
