The 2nd Gen Rejuvenate (Stock +)
The only time either of my transmissions was noisy was when I had the Valair clutch in in the second one. A lot gear roll over noise. Not peep out of it with the South Bend that's in it now.

I guess mine can be notchy, if you mean it seems to pause in neutral while shifting. Mine does to a degree but I have grown used to it. But if I want to shift quick I can do that, just requires some thought. The NV5600 is a big tranny and I never expected it to shift like a sports car but it is fun to try. I personally will stick with the Pennzoil.

I have used Pennzoil in my first 6 speed and lost 4th at 245k. Got stuck in gear and I had to hulk out. Never went back in. It resides in my shop since. I bought one from a junk yard with 52k on it and it still resides in the truck. Still shifts fine and has had a steady diet of the Pennzoil and now has about 250k on it. I cant say anything bad about the Pennzoil.

I knew when I typed my response it could be taken in more ways than one, but the more I typed the more I could not resist. Here's to being 7 seven years old again, boys and girls. No offense meant nor taken, just another good day on the forum!!!!

Prayers needed - Betty Holderness
I saw your post the other day and feel for you and her family. My sister in law was having the same problem and died yesterday. It was a little touchy for me to respond. But my thoughts and prayers are with her, Betty and her family as much as they are with mine. It is tough to loose those that we know and love, just know way around it. So to Betty I wish her the best and to Carolyn, I wish her God's speed on her journey.

NEED HELP! Engine cold, but Coolant Temperature gauge Pegged with Error Codes
The DRBIII is the tool the dealer would use to diagnose problems with. They are quite expensive unless you can find a good deal on used one. But even then they are pricey from what I have seen like in the 2k to 3k range. A good DRBII code reader will suffice for most of the problems we encounter.

NEED HELP! Engine cold, but Coolant Temperature gauge Pegged with Error Codes
The only time I had that issue was when my ECM took a dive. But I would expect to see many more codes and the truck behaving badly, maybe undrivable. It does not sound like that's your problem, you would notice some of that at idle.

You might want grab the wiring harness where it connects to the ECM. Squeeze it and move what you can. That has helped me with some of the issues of late. There is a splice in there that all the sensors share, very similar to the main computer splice near the VP.

Morning Pic For Today...........Post A Pic around your place.....
Wouldn't have it ant other way. A first for me in chicken land anyway. Now you see it Now you don't First CFA I have ever demolished. The building was about 16 years old. They were selling 7.5 million bucks a year out of this store. The kitchen looked like it was twice that old.

It is finally getting spring like out this way.

Intermittent idle surge-increase
That is similar to how mine has acted though mine has no where near the drop you are seeing. I have seen mine drop 15* or so in a few seconds and somes lower but not as quick or as large a drop as you are seeing. I am not seeing the wid swings anymore except on a rare occasion, very rare. This after messing with the wires as a whole in there harnesses. Not sure where to start on the individual wires.

Kind of hard to say without hearing yours idle.

Intermittent idle surge-increase
I was going to swap in the old one and it broke so i ended up with old back in place. My surging stopped the day I did that and has not come back. Of course then I started having MAP issues. Another thing on my surging, an APPS did NOT fix it. But my surging was different from yours.

Ground Reference VP44,ECM,PCM,PDC plus TC lock/unlock
Never done beer can chicken. Usually when I cook chicken you have make chicken salad out of it. You need plenty of mayo to help you swallow it. Tastes good just a little on the dry side. As far as the wiring once I knew I had a grip on it I allowed myself pre victory beers. And on the beer can chicken I do know it is most important to be sure you don't use a full, unopened can of beer. That is unless you like space chicken.

Your almost right. You left out the part where he backed into a giant zip lock bag.

My youngest son is driving to the grave yard in this one. But, as he put it, it better be running right or he is calling ahead and telling them to "dig a bigger hole". Feel the love!!!
