Fuel Module Upgrade: Plan is to use a Step-Drill (Uni-drill)
That is the same basket I modified but not sure what you mean by the T bar. I did drill a hole in the top for the new fitting with a regular drill bit so the stepped should safe for sure.

LP failing??
I dont know if it is your power thief or not but it could be your VP thief if left as is.

In tank, Lift Pump Retrofit
With all the advice you got I wish you luck. There are many ways to go and we have all had different successes going those ways. So i guess it is not as cut and dry as we all wish it could be. And there are still some folks around that get my on the oe stuff. I think you have to pick your poison here and live with it. I did use the AD kit on my install and it has worked flawlessly other than the pump failure about 3 years ago,

In tank, Lift Pump Retrofit
I had the in tank from dodge many years ago when the or block mounted pump died. Cost a little more than $900 plus the tow bill. It lasted a little over a year. So who knows how long they will last. I put an AD on mine for 600 plus my time. Wish I had known more about it back then. For about 7 years but did replace the pump motor about 3 years ago under warranty. How long any of them will last is a mystery to me, but I feel better with the AD and a fuel pressure gauge to leg me know when something is going wrong.

Don't forget the Amoretta.

Power mirror question
The wiring was there for the heated power mirrors in my 02. You can pull back the the door panel just enough at the top where the controller would go and should be able to see the connectors. You already know the rest of what you need.

Heater Grid: disconnecting it, (benefits?)
I plugged mine in last winter on a timer and had come on about an hour before departure time. That was enough to get the coolant temp up to 70 - 80*. Never did forget to unplug it though.

ECM flashing/Programing, is it magic
I will take a stab at it. The DRBIII is the computer and the proprietary info (soft ware) belonged to Dodge. I understand that Dodge has sold that stuff off over the years which allows folks access to the software. Thats my minimal understanding.

Heater Grid: disconnecting it, (benefits?)
Mine will start fine at 20 without them but talks back to me for doing it.

Jumping out of 6th gear
Mine will do that occasionally when the exhaust brake is on but not while it is off. Not sure why but has done it for a while. The tranny has 240k on it all with Pennzoil Syncromesh and that is the only issue it has ever had. Sorry I dont know why it is happening. Someone here is bound to know something.

GoECM.com
This happened back in 09 so might be off on the location, but I sure remember Florida for some reason. Mine went out and I ended buying from them. The old went with a lot of codes except for a P0606. So I ordered one from them and a week after paying them and sending my core in I called to see what was going on. They told me my core was bad so that had to get another to fix for me. Think I got back a week later not sure now. I put on and nothing changed except that now I get P0606 along with all the others i was getting before. They stood behind it except it took me 6 weeks to get the 2nd one. It did work fine except my cruise control did not work, the cruise light stayed on constant but no cruise. I could not afford any more down time and I just drove it like it was. That one lasted 13 months and died out on the highway. Ended up at a shop in a small town in Tennessee and he got me one from Cummins programmed and installed for $1400 or so. The pictures below show the unit I got. It has been riding around under my seat in dusty environment. The brown stuff around the edges is where dirt got stuck into the silicone that was smeared around the edges to seal it up. 2 of the screws holding the case together are missing and the perimeter shows where they pried the case open and did not do much to straighten it out before reassembling it. The dirt in the connector is from my truck, it was clean when I got it.

Yes. As you discovered it will not throw any codes. I am going on my 3rd winter without them.

ECM suppliers
You have to dig into home page. The seem to carry them for many years.

ECM suppliers
Seems to me if they remain them repairing them is a bit redundant. Remaining them should repair them. Just a weird selling point to me. But I personally know nothing about them.

GoECM.com
There was a member here not to long that bought from Flagship One and had a bad experience with them, not sure he ever got it resolved. Mine came from Auto ECU/Automotive Scientific Inc. Believe they are out of Florida. Vey bad experience for me.

Pilothouse/RAM3500 build
I am liking all that history.

trailer weight's.
My money is on 20k for both unless the 3500 has 4:10 gears. I am thinking 22k on that. Manual tranny that is.
