  1. If you still have the OE basket/module it will not look anything like the one in @Dieselfuture 's picture. That is for the in tank pump upgrade, and I use that term loosely. The OE is a good bit different but can still be modified.
  2. FWIW, my pickup is only 3/8" and in the basket, came that way from AD. It is suffecient to maintain good pressure. I do see about a 3.5 psi drop between idle and WOT but still maintain above 14 psi at minimum. 19 at idle and 15.5 at WOT. Knowing what I know now i would have put a 1/2" pick up in at the time. But as long as it keeps working like it does i dont see any need to change the size or the location. There is more than one way to do this and accomplish the same thing. Now comes the fun part, picking YOUR way to do it.
  3. Well said DF. Easy to loose track of things with the hustle of life.
  4. No apology needed there. You got your pretty full. Merry Chritas to @MoparMom too. Ho ho ho!
  5. I just bought one of those 12v 195* t stats that @jlbayes mentioned in another thread. Got it from Rock Auto for the whopping sum of $1.42.
  6. That's what I used on the big line kit.
  7. Merry Christmas to all you. Might not have kept this truck had it not been fo this site.
  8. When they start giving me troube I will swap them out, until then I can live with them. I have lived with them 7 years so far.
  9. My 02 has 2 filament bulbs. One comes when when you turn the lights on and the other filament blinks for turn signals. The corner light filament stays on as long as the lights are on. Don't have a clue as to how they are wired.
  10. FWIW when I put my AD on I did jjot know squat. I did not have to think it out, just bought the pump with a kit to ditch my in tank pump. That took a week. Took me a couple months to find a weekend to do it. Then wango bango its on the truck, quick disconnects nd all. Lost the pump about 3 years and AD replaced it under warranty. Everything else is as it was when I installed it.
  11. Mine stayed on for years. Figured it was the seat belt latch or the wiring at same. Just swapped in a new set of seats and the light is out. It could just be a loose wire.
  12. I guess the 3" we got last week does not count fo much. Gone the next day pretty much. Be safe and warm.
  13. I use 2 clamps on my 1/2" lines and it works good. The clamps have rubber pads on them. Only works on soft lines and not the factory hard lines.

    Welcome.
  15. My 02 looks just like the above photo. I think the overload spring only comes with the camper package. My 96 did not have one anyway.
  16. You know somebody down here thats been looking in truck?
  17. I ran a Banks Ottomind, 75 hp, plus RV 275's and pulled a 14k pound trailer on my stock clutch and never slipped it.
  18. I would definitely call Eric. With Chritmas and all he can probably get them to as quick as anyone. Unless you know someone who has them on the shelf in Il.
  19. The new ECM is clouding your thoughts Rick. Everything is better when the truck runs right. Just kidding of course.
  20. I always figured the moved them to save money. No more bellcrank assembly or throttle cable. With what dodge sells the for they saved a pretty penny on every unit.
  21. I wish I had replaced that one when I had mine out. Mine broke later and I dont have much left sticking out of the firewall. My problem was in the blend door and yours might be also. The little plastic coupling cracks and causes problem. Google heater treater. They make a part to replace it with. It is easier to do with the box on the bench than in the truck.
  22. Same here when I did mine. Really had to work them hard to get them apart. I am pretty sure that all the vacuum lines under the dash connect to the HVAC box, IIRC. I did mine about 4 or 5 years ago and replaced none of the vacuum stuff. It was working then and still is now.
  23. When I tapped mine I had the turbo off and just stuck a rag in the manifold, drilled and tapped the hole then pulled the rag out. Cant believe anything small that may have been left behind would not just pass thru.
  24. It might set a code since it is looking for 3 sensor inputs but the truck should run fine other than that I would think. Dont know where to a PCM either new or rebuilt. Not sure a new one would be available.
  25. Mine have cracked from the bead down into the barrell of the rim. Lugs are tjghtened with a torque wrench 95% of the time. @Dieselfuture
