  1. I like those. but i think rv275's is next on my wish list. unless i blow a boot. things change sometimes.
  2. new clamps too or did you just clean the old one up?
  3. i bought an instrument cluster from the junk man when i was having all of my computer issues. the donor had 144k on it. when i plugged into my truck it read 144k. is the odo memory in the cluster? i would have thought it would be stored in the ecm or pcm. cajflynn, you can use and see if you can max out another on the same truck.
  4. i had used a k&n for along time. swapped over to a BHAF about 10k mile ago. no heat sheild. i still get 10 mph towing and i run the speed limit as long as the interstate is open and not crowded. i have not noticed any differance in egt's either. so i think mine will stay without a heat sheild.
  5. bet they will look great on the truck. i dont think i will be changing mine anytime soon, but eric is good people and i enjoy dealing with them.
  6. if you are using a mechical gauge and it starts leaking you can just turn it off and fix the problem when you get somewhere to do it. the banjo bolt we were talking about before is on the vp where the fuel line connects. that is the one with the schrader valve. you could tap into that for both your gauge and your low pressures sending unit. Water hammer there is going to be strong. you can talk to eric at vulcan or another place of your choosing and tell them what you are wanting to do and they should be able to set you up with what you need. i did the big line kit and tapped into it for my gauge. you could use that tap for both with the proper plumbing. i dont have a warning might get one some day.
  7. 237k here.
  8. beautiful place. i need some of that r & r. i have been fighting with local government officials all day.
  9. i take it the ect, ect , ect would include my foot. the right one especially. i made one run recently between 65 and 70 for about 450 miles and was able to get 20 mpg. my normal driveing i usually get 18. for a 7k pound truck i am not complaining. my last dodge had a V10. 12 mpg on the highway with a tail wind. gas was .95 a gallon then. glad i dont own it any more. i do appreciate the info. i have learned something today.
  10. ok guys yall have to tell me what BSFC is. i do appreciate all of the technical data that alot of folks post here, but it is usually over my head. but dont stop on my account. if i can learn something it is a plus.

  23. the overloads on my 02 is one thicker single instead of a double.
  24. mine has the D80. i dont know what it is rated for either. i also run 265/75/16's rated just over 3400. i have hauled 2 cubes of brick in mine before at about 3k each. one in the front of the bed theother over the axle. it went to the overloads and sat nice and level. the truck handled it fine. it was a 150 mile trip on the high way, no issues.
