HELP! Flashing Wait to Start Light
The FASS is connected to the factory LP connection on the engine harness with positive and negative for the relay connected directly to the driver battery. I am going to throw two hot batteries in it and at least try that first. Condition of electrical as in corrosion? That is something I am going to do is clean all the terminals and ground points. All the factory grounds and wiring placement is still factory. I thought doing the battery cable upgrade. And I have never seen any issues so I don't think AC noise is an issue. Also thought I about just getting a Nations or Mechman alternator as preventative maintenance. I have boy scouts tonight with my so there might be enough daylight left tonight to mess with it.

HELP! Flashing Wait to Start Light
So I have had the first major problem with my 02 2500. Got the truck out Saturday afternoon to go to a church dinner. Get ready to leave the dinner and my truck won't start. When I key-on the ignition I don't hear the FASS kick on, then I notice the wait to start is flashing. So obviously I am assuming the worst, a dead ECM. The truck would just crank and crank and crank. Call for tow and of course it will be awhile, so I leave the truck and wait at home. (A side note, before I left the house that day when I first got in the truck and turned the key on, the FASS was delayed in kicking on. Thought it was weird, so I turned the key off and back on again and everything seemed fine. I figured it was just a fluke.) 2 and 1/2 hours later I get the call from the tow driver. I get there and of course human nature tells to try and start the truck. Turn the key on and the FASS kicks on, and the WTS illuminates with the normal delay since it was cool outside. The truck fires right up. I get out to thank the driver for coming and try to pay him for a dry run, and then the truck dies. WTS flashing and will just crank. So had it towed home. Sunday morning same thing, key-on, no FASS, and flashing WTS. I decided to clean the battery grounds, they were somewhat corroded. After cleaning the grounds, truck fires up, runs for about 10 seconds and dies. WTS flashing. I then cleaned all the terminals. Now when I key-on, the FASS kicks on for the brief second, the WTS illuminates and stays on indicating for the grid heaters. But by now the batteries are so weak the truck won't turn over. I tried charging and boosting each battery, but it would barley crank. So can weak or bad batteries cause this issue? Intuition leads me to a bad ECM, but the truck ran a couple times, and the WTS is not delayed. I did the key trick for codes: P PCU - p1693, p1694, P ECU - showed no codes. But I will still put the scanner on it. Does this sound indicative of a bad ECM? I do NOT have a No BUS message either. Bad IAT sensor? Bad grid heater relays? Bad grid heater? Corroded grounds? Open to input, suggestions, any help!

Anyone know anything about this turbo
That's where I'd like to get, 400-500. Just a daily driver truck. I have been eyeing the SXE 362, but I like the when the HX spools. And the HX can be reworked cheaper than a new turbo. I mean I don't know a lot other than what we discuss on here and research, but I'm not sure if we are comparing apples to apples with a modded HX and an SXE 362. I know it comes down to use of the truck with power adders, so it's hard to ask if one turbo is better than the next.

Thank you for the pics. That comparison helps tremendously. Did they say what kind of HP that turbo would support? 400-ish?

Anyone know anything about this turbo
Is that 62/67/12 comparable to a 62/68? What kind of HP range?

Let's Figure Out This 47re Problem of Mine.....
Hey diesel trucks cost big bucks. It's like a boat, Bust Out Another Thousand. Lol! But $3700 is probably getting you a basic rebuild, no frills. $5000 minimum for somthing with at least billet input, and triple disc converter.

Let's Figure Out This 47re Problem of Mine.....
I say let the professionals handle it. I can turn a wrench, but when it comes to these 47RE's the tricks and secrets are known by the builders. Sure pan off upgrades would get you by but do it right once.

Testing Injector Pop Pressure in the real world
Yes I definitely missed the full four doors. I still have my 02 but it's only driven occasionally now. I have a 17 Duramax Crew Cab for the family tow rig now. No hating.... And that is what has me keeping the 2nd gen. Much cheaper to make power and have fun. Plus I have always been partial to the 2nd gen body style.

Testing Injector Pop Pressure in the real world
I had an 06 Tudra Double Cab. Loved that truck. First brand new truck I ever bought. Lots of power, towed great for its capacity. Definitely missed it when I sold it and bought an 02 Cummins. All new? I have considered keeping my HX35 and going compounds instead of a single SXE 362. Same here. 90K on my 02. Can't decide if it's worth throwing money into. It's more of a toy than anything.

Front sway links
I have Suspension Maxx on my 1500 and 2500. Only because both trucks are lifted in the front.

Dodge ECM
Sweet. Well let me know if that's something you would be willing to do.

That's a good deal. Any chance you would want to ship the Smarty to me so I could enable high idle?

7x.0085 75HP POP pressures
I can definitely relate. My first brand new truck was a 2006 Tundra. Had it for seven years and sold it for $10k less than what I paid for it. Had 22,000 miles when I sold it and still had the original battery. Only was a dealer for a ball joint recall. I know 22k is not 375k, but I sure do miss that truck.

Hey @99_Cummins_4x4 sorry for the late reply. Unfortunately none in stock right now.

7x.0085 75HP POP pressures
I just had a set of injectors rebuilt with 150 nozzles. $110 to rebuild/setup, plus cost of nozzles. Talk to Jacob @dieselautopower. I messaged him about it. I also had called in and was told $150. Maybe forum members get a little break.

Dodge ECM
Flagship buys PCMs/ECMs from salvage yards. They clean up the case and bead blast it to make it look like a reman or new one. Not sure if they program the PCM/ECM or outsource that. We sell about 10 modules a month to Flagship.

Will those fit in 2nd gen housings like the D2S projector? And also, who won the raffle. I am kicking myself for forgetting to enter...
