  1. I do it by jacking up front and checking ball joints, then for steering parts on the ground like @Marcus2000monster said and have someone move the steering for ya to investigate. I highly recommend Dodgeoffroad for front end parts! I have the entire front end and love it.
  2. Gonna be doing the same thing, already wired for it. Plug and play from a free parts truck Hopefully yours is wired as well.
  3. Hehe, well getting personal are we I've got 5in also. Lol.
  4. That looks good! I dont think I have enough room for that style wish i did though...
  5. @Dieselfuture got a pic of this shield?
  6. What about this stuff, just cause I work here and get it free... lol https://www.deere.com/en_US/parts/batteries_and_fluids/oils_and_lubricants/hygard_hydraulic/transmission_oil/transmission_oil.page
  7. It's got a filter in the passenger one haha... it's just kinda close to the exhaust
  8. @AH64ID that's the same idea I had... Hag has some pretty good info there..
  9. I guess I need to find a amsoil dealer locally and find out what my cost would be.. I would prolly run some cheap let pennzoil in my short break in clean out run.
  10. I did think about wrapping the down pipe.. have to find some higher temp rated stuff.
  11. Well that's disappointing after buying them awhile back... I'd like to use them since I have them... lol. Don't wanna be wasteful ya know.
  12. Done a mock up on the passenger side fast cooler.... So what do yall think about this clearance here... Heat is the obvious issue here...
  13. I'm not sayin I wouldn't buy, just sayin its pricey.
  14. There's lots of different opinions floating around out there and here, I've read. From all these oils I really haven't seen a common trend on what everyone is using, it usually 3-4 different oils and biased. I just get so confused lol. So I figured I'd make my own thread, and since I trust all the knowledge on this site, maybe I could get on board with a brand/weight. So far I only can come to the consensus that synchromesh oil is what I should run. But I'd like more options... and it's hard to find sometimes. Also gonna do the same thing with t-case. But I know it's just atf so that's pretty simple. Just gotta choose a brand, lol.
  15. I normally run royal purple, 5 quart capacity plus 1. I'm gonna run some pennzoil synchro mesh for my new re build break in then change over to something different. So I know to run synchro mesh, but I've heard of guys using redline and other stuff. What is y'alls recipes? I haven't seen a whole lot of synchro mesh options out there.
  16. @Mopar1973ManNo the ones up top here. And these little nuts holding the vacuum lines on
  17. Is the frame mount just like a M6 or M8 or some type of machine screw or self tapper? I think the nuts for the vacuum pod deal is those thin nut-look-a-like things. Maybe lowes has those? Oriellys?
  18. Needing specs or something close to the following - metal dash frame to fire wall screws/bolts I think there's 5 or 6 of them up across the top -the 2 little nuts that secure the port with all the HVAC vacuum lines, threads onto two little plastic nubs. Gonna go to the hardware store fri, I hope someone has an idea on the size at least, pics work too. Thanks fellas!
  19. To fix a squeaky belt, simply put dawn dish soap on the belt inside/outside while its running. You'll be amazed!
  20. Makes perfect sense! @trreed that is sexy lookin!
  21. This is very true, I have thought about getting a spare head to mess with and milling it off and building/port polish as I went (time and money) then bolt on. But your right about the flow at the head. I am wondering though if the (volume ) of air would be helpful through the bigger tubes to a bigger intake horn to the intake? (having the air there in bulk when its needed) Or would that be a waste since its not going to flow none of it?
