Does anyone have a cab wiring harness diagram? I got a new led cargo light and the dang thing wont go off (clear only ) so I need to start tracing wiring to see what's going on... Diagram would be very handy Thanks!

Well I'm super happy to say that it works now. I just went back and forth in my long drive way kinda getting stuff moving again and I was able to get it to shift into all ranges. Guess from all the sitting it did after the rebuild it just kinda seized a little... just needs drove now...

Yea, it works, I drove it out of the shop this weekend. I removed the linkage out of the equation even though it's good and didn't move anything and used my hand to try and manually move the lever forward or backwards. I can get it to partially engage either way... Just got home and gonna see if I can get it to move by just moving it back and forth to see if It is froze and free it up or see if something else is going on...

So trans and tcase is in the truck and i got it to move this past weekend outside the shop. YAY, well right after I rebuilt it I tested operation and it worked, now after it setting awhile then finally getting put in, it works but only in one gear, I dont remember off the top of my head if it was 4x4 high or 4x4 low but definitely 4x4. Im guessing something got seized inside form it setting and me not being proactive and moving the gears ever so often to prevent this... So with it installed and fluid in it, i guess i can just keep trying to rock it back and forth and hopefully it frees up? i did see the 4x4 indicator switch sometime seizes up to so i might remove that aswell. Any advice or tips if anyone has come across this before, again this is a fresh rebuild - new everything...

Returned from bluetop? I've never done it (grinded), there was just a lot of chats and how to-s sayin such... I think I'm safe with my indent... I'll be getting me a new gearbox from them in the near future... I haven't done much research yet but I believe red/blue is the same just a company that spilt? One better than the other?

It does slip back and forth in the middle, I played with it before installing. I haven't secured the joint to the steering box cause I wanted a second opinion on it. I also haven't secured the middle stopper yet. I'm glad you mentioned axial movement now I'll remember to give it some room to move a tiny bit for the flex just in case. The extra dimple on the top was just for piece of mind The bottom should be good with that groove there, it only has one set screw anyway. I just second guessed myself cause of the talk about grinding a flat spot on the steering box shaft...

Little update, actually got time to start installing this evening. This is what I have... Is this safe? Since the whole grinding a flat spot deal I'm timid lol. It has a groove to set in so idk why it wouldn't work. Same on the top, I used the OEM simple and also made a second dimple for the other set screw... Please Advise.

You'll want this stuff irregardless if your offloading!

@Kane4sythe have you went to the DOR site yet? This is what you want right here. Comes with all new hardware and steering components. Next you will need Then this Obviously check your ball joints, control arms etc..... Go to the site and and make a wish list, look at what they have. I dont work for these guys, or get anything from them I just have experience with there product, customer support! And they are both great! Their stuff is the BEST around...

Please dont do 24" rims lol... that's just silly. I'm telling ya, DOR is the place for all your steering or suspension needs. No you dont need to upgrade the sway bar, just the links/bushings etc on the sway bars. Aside from that, upgrade your entire steering setup and track bar and your golden. They have your steering setup, steering box brace, track bar, and more!

Its not a race car, dont be trying an indy 500 lol... Taking it off will give you more room to work possibly, and you dont won't to leave it just hanging there... Plus if your upgrading, your gonna take it off anyway. It's not hard or time consuming to do it... Heck take it off clean it up. Paint it, make it look nice. @Russ Roth @Kane4sythe the wax would go into the threads via capillary action, as solder would. How ever I have never used this method before so I don't know its effectiveness... I would dril it out with a left handed drill bit, then an appropriate sized "easy out" if that doesn't work add heat to the "surrounding" area, not the bolt and try easy out after adding heat. If that doesn't work, put a washer over the bolten a nut appropriately sized, weld nut to stub then try and remove, try heat if still difficult. Last resort progressively drill out bolt then remove chunks as u go. After any of these steps always chase the threads, or re tap them.

Just take them both off and try it out! Its "safe"... anti sway bars do just what the name of them are. They keep you from swaying left or right aka body roll. I have towed heavy loads with them off, I have hauled heavy loads on the flatbed. You will be fine. Save up and rebuild them both when you get cash and slap them back on.

Take the whole thing off, get some more tools, cause who doesn't like tools, then properly fix it. DO NOT weld it on. Drill, easy out, tap it, new hardware. Easy peasy.

I have had my sway bars off for over a year now and loved it, ride seems much smoother. It does have body roll but nothing crazy. Go to www.dodgeoffroad.com and pick out what ya want they have everything listed. Lots of goodies. Good quality too.

I do it by jacking up front and checking ball joints, then for steering parts on the ground like @Marcus2000monster said and have someone move the steering for ya to investigate. I highly recommend Dodgeoffroad for front end parts! I have the entire front end and love it.

Gonna be doing the same thing, already wired for it. Plug and play from a free parts truck Hopefully yours is wired as well.

It's got a filter in the passenger one haha... it's just kinda close to the exhaust

@AH64ID that's the same idea I had... Hag has some pretty good info there..

I guess I need to find a amsoil dealer locally and find out what my cost would be.. I would prolly run some cheap let pennzoil in my short break in clean out run.

I did think about wrapping the down pipe.. have to find some higher temp rated stuff.
