Geez that stuff is expensive!- What NV5600 fluids are yall running?
There's lots of different opinions floating around out there and here, I've read. From all these oils I really haven't seen a common trend on what everyone is using, it usually 3-4 different oils and biased. I just get so confused lol. So I figured I'd make my own thread, and since I trust all the knowledge on this site, maybe I could get on board with a brand/weight. So far I only can come to the consensus that synchromesh oil is what I should run. But I'd like more options... and it's hard to find sometimes. Also gonna do the same thing with t-case. But I know it's just atf so that's pretty simple. Just gotta choose a brand, lol.- What NV5600 fluids are yall running?
I normally run royal purple, 5 quart capacity plus 1. I'm gonna run some pennzoil synchro mesh for my new re build break in then change over to something different. So I know to run synchro mesh, but I've heard of guys using redline and other stuff. What is y'alls recipes? I haven't seen a whole lot of synchro mesh options out there.- Interior hardware

Is the frame mount just like a M6 or M8 or some type of machine screw or self tapper? I think the nuts for the vacuum pod deal is those thin nut-look-a-like things. Maybe lowes has those? Oriellys?- Interior hardware
Needing specs or something close to the following - metal dash frame to fire wall screws/bolts I think there's 5 or 6 of them up across the top -the 2 little nuts that secure the port with all the HVAC vacuum lines, threads onto two little plastic nubs. Gonna go to the hardware store fri, I hope someone has an idea on the size at least, pics work too. Thanks fellas!- Belt squeal fixed
To fix a squeaky belt, simply put dawn dish soap on the belt inside/outside while its running. You'll be amazed!- Vibration after Southbend Dual Disc Clutch installed

This is very true, I have thought about getting a spare head to mess with and milling it off and building/port polish as I went (time and money) then bolt on. But your right about the flow at the head. I am wondering though if the (volume ) of air would be helpful through the bigger tubes to a bigger intake horn to the intake? (having the air there in bulk when its needed) Or would that be a waste since its not going to flow none of it?- Stanley's Truck Remodel- Dove in Head First!
Thats what I was leaning towards, is the boots any better? I have read about the extra .5 inch and info to back it up, but didnt know if anyone had real world experience with it. Its only $50 more... and you get shiny stuff. Haha- Stanley's Truck Remodel- Dove in Head First!
Needing opinions on this so I can get this ordered soon. Anyone wanna throw there in?- Kelderman rear aur suspension

Ahh... ok, makes sense now. Is it a hard connection on the lower or is it a hose (butt connector) just wanna make sure PO didnt swap it out for a barbed fitting or something different. This helps alot, thanks!- W-T ground mod

I guess I could just 90* over and around the oil filter? Can someone post a pic of this area so I can see how its routed factory?- Quick Pic needed
Well the extra hose just laying there was just me messing as round. I wouldn't be putting it near enough to get hot lol... So I guess what I was after is there is supposed to be a metal pipe running back... yea I never had one, go figure. I guess I'll plum one up going straight back then go to hose from there. My father in law might have an extra one from his truck, I'll check that too.- Quick Pic needed
