Old article on 275rv injectors.. still ok?
Would it be better to go ahead and request they go with all new nozzles anyway?

Exhaust system info
IBMobile has one. His stock exhaust is still all in good shape just laying there since he wanted a new System. You might be close enough from where he is to go pick it up. Not sure

Exhaust system info
It rotted at the back end of the muffler is all. So I'm sleeving a new piece to go up inside the muffler long enough to allow cutting off the rot on the tail section which is still pretty good. Then weld it up. Doing it after work when i am already dirty in the evening.

Windshield wiper. Upgrade to faster?
I take the garden hose down in there and make a huge rinsing turbulence with the water pressure inside the radiator bottle. Could one do that on the washer bottle without hurting the pump? My 01 has it about 52 inches, but could easily run 56 and a half inches to go all the way.

Windshield wiper. Upgrade to faster?
O15point9, That is a piece of weatherstripping helps direct rainwater away from dripping on the wire harness below. Also helps direct it out off each side of the truck. It presses on by hand the top firewall sheet metal lip and the plastic cowel cover. It also helps direct water off the ends to not drip onto the PCM pin connectors. Although both my trucks had a small area that let water run down there, I placed a bead of black caulking to make the water run out the side further and not on the trucks computer. The foam pieces were rotting and not really sticking well anymore so they got canned years ago and use a small burm of caulk instead. I think Micheal uses that weather strip to beat the crap out of me last time I visited him

Exhaust system info
Mine is that way also simply cause it rotted off just behind the stock muffler so I removed the tail section so it wasn't flopping around. I'm going to jamb a steel rod up the muffler to open that little piece of metal inside and make more of a flow thru muffler. Then jamb in a tight fitting piece of pipe inside the muffler and then reweld the tail section back on to clean pipe. Call or go online to Diamond Eye Exhaust. They have those tail sections pre bent in their kits.

I want to pull that cowel/ cover also. How do you go about pulling the wiper arms off without damaging anything? T.I.A.

CR Injector failures and upset owners
I think it's a sad thing when a world famous engine becomes so molested by EPA causing it to cost more than its worth. An eco friendly truck is one you can keep on the road. Amount of money flow thru the economy is directly correlated to the amount of waste and air/ water pollution. So every cost incurred by EPA drives up the very thing they try controlling. This discussion also reveals why Kelly Blue Book had to raise prices on 2nd Gens two times.

Light under hood
What a cool set up. With winter coming could be very handy IBMobile, do you sometimes have to hold your neck kind of funny for the light to get right? Me got bad bad neck arthritis. Wish I could get rid of that. I think changing from high to low beams might hurt.
-
Light under hood
Its a rolling copper like ball inside that makes contact when it rolls back from the hood going up. It gets kinda dirty in there and the bulb sometimes gets corroded/ dirty too. I've had mine all apart sanded and cleaned and it works like new again. I really need it to be retractable and it could lay down in the area needed for doing any work. I think someday I might put about a 6 foot length of wire on it so it would serve me better, but need a way to coil up the wire. The Mopar store should be selling a retractable under hood light that would work on all vehicles.

Help me adjust my headlights
Pm me with your cell no. and I will send one of my sport with E Bay headlights and one of my non sport. It looks like I have more space between the fender and the lights. Yours look too close for some reason.

Help me adjust my headlights
I thought he was talking about how they don't line up with the fender brow above each new headlight. Dripley, my 02 Sport came with clear lenses. Just a side note...... my Sport model has the front bumper lower so there is more space to get the lights in with a tilting motion. I really appreciated that.
-
Help me adjust my headlights
My least expensive E-bay headlights went in and lined up beautifully. I did that on my Sport model. Yours should line up with the upper brow on the fender body as soon as they are installed. Adjustments are only for headlight aim not the body line up. IOW, they should look perfect soon as installed even if light aim is off. I wonder if you got them for a sport model and you need non sport headlights or vise versa?

My dually
Gee those second gens look good don't they? Not hulkey looking at all, just nice. That bow goes away when unloaded. Had about 6 k pounds in the 01 also a SRW truck. It was retaining wall block. Couldn't wait to get that off of there and drove it as soft as I could because I thought sure it might bend the frame hitting bumps too hard. Dripley hauls more than that when he's going to the building permit dept with the cash.

Hello, Just signed up from Arizona
Yep there was a lot to chew on at the eclipse camp when I heard they were next heading for the Canadian Rockies on an original VP44. I was really afraid for them...... Yes all the way from south of L.A. up into Mopar1973Man country, but it decides to go just minutes from MoparMans shop. It was also stones throw from an RV park on the river where they allowed vehicle repairs. It was certainly the good Lord watching over them.

Mph needle jumping like crazy
There's nothing like a nice job without all the loose ends hanging everything up. I've seen jobs when they call for a finish carpenter, they heard I was good, so I get there and there is framing lumber they overestimated laying everywhere. Literally hardly any room to spread out. Mind you, It is sheetrocked and painted so they wanted me to start that day. Then notice other contractors there tripping over each other like the work is going a million miles an hour. Hey.... but, that's what they are proud of, the speed at which its coming together. I said that I was not interested and got in my old Cummins that afforded daily therapy every time I got in and took off.

Mph needle jumping like crazy
Thats exactly what I see happening up around my way too DieselFuture. People rather kill you than let you in. Weird too when you call a business and the mellenial type person anwsering the phone acts like it's too hard to speak properly or even lift a finger on the computer board to help you. Things is getting weird, I've started building a new home and you would not believe peoples BS to try making more than going rates. The BS I'm getting is like they'd rather rake you over than provide a decent service. When they find out I know my stuff (years in the building Biz) they say I don't have time and take off. Even the neighbors across the street tried stopping me by getting a county inspector out there. They were standing out there hoping I'd start screaming yelling or at least start some kind of drama. They don't know how much I know about the county and was able to keep going by, in a sense, correcting this young driveway inspector. Being that I'm a nice guy helps tremendously. Being polite, honorable and a country boy is better than money grubbing selfish greed attitude.

Power lost intermetant
When doing these, esp. W-T's grounding mods, made a huge difference on reducing AC ripple. The truck even seems to run better, and idles with a perfect smoothness. Could be my imagination, but the truck sounds so good you just want to sit and listen to it.
