I've got a Fram Boost 2 CAI on my 04.5. It's the same as the AEM Brute Force but with a different paint job. Mine has been real good. I believe I've had it on about 4 years. The tube stays spotless inside. That said, I've never pulled the tube and boot off the turbo to look inside the turbo. Maybe when it warms up. Is your rubber boot that connects the tube to the turbo "tight"?????:confused: Do you live in a dusty area??? I also run an Outerwears Filter condom over the filter itself. I've only cleaned the filter 3 times and I use a solution of simple green and water.

I use the WallyWorld SuperTech 15 W40 in my '04. No problems. In fact I've not "changed" the oil in over 72,000 miles now.

In your '02, I'm guessing you have the 355 rear end. Try and swap in a new ring gear for taller gearing.......or a whole new/used rear end. Or get some taller and narrower tires. You've got a lot more choices with your 16 inch rims in that area than I do with my 17's. One more thing, you have a "CUMMINS" in your truck. Not a "cummings"!!
