It's the "entitlement/welfare" and the "publicly funded pensions" that are bankrupting our "once greater than it is now country"!!!!!!! Reform only those two things, and we've got problem solved!!!Hell.............me as a self-employed individual can fund my retirement funds, I sure as sam-hell think those government "***-suckers" can do the same!!!! It's pisses me off to no end when I get my property tax bill to see the "Taxing Authority bodies"!!!!!!!! Pension this, and pension that. Not only am I funding my own retirement, I'm funding every GD county worker in the county I live in!!!:banghead:

Hose and Push Lock fittings
Hey, after almost 25 years of shoeing horses; my hands are really tough, with not a lot of "feel" in them. I can do "fine" stuff, as I do drive nails into living tissue............but the fine dexterity and feeling is what I don't have anymore. Not arguing, just saying!!!

Hose and Push Lock fittings
Do you have "girly-man" hands or a lot of baby fat on your hands???? Reason I ask, is that I never had to soften the hose to slide onto the "push lock" hose fittings!!! Busting your chops a bit!!!!! Hehehehe!!!Are there certain brands of hose that the push lock fitting work better with??? Or are they all basically the same?? How often should these hoses be changed; if ever??

The Electric Fence (Found this on Facebook) *Strong Language*
In 1976, my Dad bought a horse so that he wouldn't have to "rent-a-nag" at the pointer and setter field trials he used to run in. The first 2 years we had "Satin", he was kept at my Uncles place as he had a small barn, and had 2.5 acres. Perfect for one horse. Anyhow, Dad got an electric fence box from someone. This was not a battery one either..........it plugged into the wall socket!!! Brushing up on that "hot wire" would leave marks on you skin!!!!:stuned:

Cummins now competes with Powerstroke
Even with the EGR, etc. the Cummins will do what the Furd does on half the fuel. And live a much longer life!!!Have you checked out what them Furd boys are getting mileage-wise with the "new" "diesel" they've developed "in house"??????? It's an 'effing joke!!! You'd be better off with a big block gasser.......for the mileage them Furds offer.

WOW, no response..............the silence is deafening!!! Come on Amsoil dudes..............I'm game for a good argument!!!

what interval do you change oil/oil filter at?
That's very impressive for a 7.3 powderpuff with the HEUI injectors. Those injectors shear the additives almost as fast as crap thru a goose!!! Whilst that's impressive for a powderpuff diesel.............have you checked out my thread forum.mopar1973man.com/threads/1688-80-000-Miles-No-Full-Oil-Change?highlight=82%2C000+miles+oil+change The only reason I changed oil at 82,000 miles, was because I had the engine almost torn down to replace the front gear cover gasket. I figured since the engine was apart and exposed: I'd better change it all out........just to be safe. If you try to convince me the gasket issue was oil related, I'll call BullChit on you here and now!!!! I sure wish I had saved my Blackstone oil analysis reports for you. Using WallyWorld SuperTech 15W40 dino on top of it!!! The only thing that's changed since then is I'm using Valvoline Premium Blue now. 40,000 miles now and counting.............without an oil change!!!!:thumbup2:

Hard warm start dealership blues
When I saw that you brought this thread back to the top, I was thinking that this time the stealership told you they replaced the spark plugs and all is well!!!! Hope it works out for you.

Some of My thoughts about doubters of Amsoil
Use Amsoil, it cures fits, farts, warts, freckles, coughs, colds, and runny noses. Makes conception a wonder and child birth a pleasure. It works pretty well in our Cummins engines too. If it'd grow hair, I'd use it as a hair tonic on my bald spot!!! All that said, I use WallyWorld SuperTech dino in my Cummins!!!!!I "cut and pasted" that paragraph from a thread I posted in on "the other site" way back in December, 2007. Only difference now is I'm using Valvoline Premium Blue!!Hey Michael, what's Chuck doing these days???? He and I used to go "round and round" on the oil stuff!!!

Some of My thoughts about doubters of Amsoil
I use nothing but WallyWorld 2 stroke oil in my truck, chainsaw, weedwacker, and outboard. In a "PROPERLY TUNED" 2 stroke, you should never have issues with deposits. Problem is that most folks believe that if a little oil is good, a little more oil is better. Not in 2 strokes. In all actuality, you're probably better off running your 2 stroke equipment a bit lean with the 2 stroke oils we have now..........both dino and synthetic!!!!!! JMNTBHO of course!!!!
-
Some of My thoughts about doubters of Amsoil
I have nothing against the oil itself; as I use it in my diffs, tranny and transfer case. Good product. So so are the other oils and lubes out there...........dino and synthetic. What gripes me about it is the way it's marketed and sold.............and to a lesser extent the price.Fuller Brush and Amway come to mind.Do y'all believe in it so much because you sell it; or do you sell it because you believe in it???? Big difference.

Warning....................Don't Do This in the AM
I finished cooking my breakfast this AM, and I turned on the "boob-tube" to catch the local weather on some channel. Long story, short............I paused on one channel because I saw Julie Newmar......aka "CatWoman" from "Batman" on the screen. Heck, that leather jump suit and all..........I just had to pay my respects while eating my bacon and eggs!!!! Anyhow, once the show was over, guess who can't get the "Batman" theme song out of his head all day!!!!!! Granted; it's got a great guitar lick and easy lyrics to learn...................but come on!!!!!!!!!:lmao2::lmao: --- Update to the previous post... For those that remember. http://3.bp.blogspot.com/-6Wj2BdVwZUk/TvtOCJVV7FI/AAAAAAAACvw/IQbUmgvzOio/s1600/julie+newmar.jpg

My Boy Is a Daddy.............Again
Technically, Faith was 3 days early based on the first breeding we did in the hotel room in MO.!!!!! Don't get too excited ISX............... Based on the 9week doggy gestation period, she should've had the pups tomorrow/Saturday; as that's 9 weeks!!!!! But Doug said they were well "cooked".............meaning they were of good size.........not too small, or not too big. All are still doing well!!

2 Stroke and the Common Rail
I hear that Mike!!! When I'm towing, I run Mighty Whitey up to about 2200-2300rpm before shifting............no lugging that way..........and she pulls away much easier. My NV5600 seems to shift smoother with higher rpms also.

2 Stroke and the Common Rail
I just filled up today before I got home and came here to the "site"!!! Anyhow, 580 miles on the tank of fuel and filled up with 31.xxxgallons. Mileage for the tank was 18.6mpg with about 50% towing. That tank was also some % of bio + my 16oz. of 2 stroke oil.I believe the higher cetane is the norm in Europe. Upwards of 50. But most diesels there are small and rev much higher than our Cummins, or even the Duramax and the Furd. In order to get complete combustion in those high revving engines and maintain emissions, they have to run diesel with higher cetane. Our larger diesels here don't rev as high and thus don't need the "quick" burn of the higher cetane fuel...................only caveat being in the winter cold. We already hashed that out, so I won't go back there.Just sticking my in here......again!!!
