  1. Faith had a litter of 10 pups yesterday...........3clf, 3clm, 2blf, and 2blm. This is the 3rd breeding we did with our dogs, and the folks that've gotten pups from the prior 2 litters are really bragging on them; so we did a third!!!!:cool:My avatar is of my boy "Spud" and his first born, "Dee" from the first litter. I'll post pix when I get them from Doug!!!:thumbup2:Do they make "dog cigars"??? 29 pups total in 3 litters now...........she's a little "fertile Myrtle" and Spud must have some "super swimmers"!!!!!!!!!
  2. The video was 4:45.....how long would it take you to walk that same path??!! Curious!!
  3. Had it framed for a while now, but with the mild weather we've had.......there was no urgency to "git 'er done"!!!! Anyhow, bought some drywall and some insulation, and closed her up. The only pix I took were from the inside of the house. It'll have to do for now............Here's the pix.
  4. I'd be so "honored" if y'all would name a thread after me!!!
  5. Hey Marble,Have you done your "slip and slide" routine "down under" yet???!!! They do have some "decency" laws down there you know!!
  6. Do y'all speak "Swahili" and "Pig Latin" also??!!:lmao2:I understood all the words.............just not the meaning in all y'all's jiberish!!!!:banghead::banghead:Glad I know folks like you's guy's though!!
  7. I pulled mine out of my '04.5 years ago. Hated the sound. To me it sounded like the "martians" in the original movie......."War Of The Worlds"!!!!!The total time of my truck without it was about 1 hour. Just enough to remove it...............drive it..............hate the sound................and replace it!!!!!!!:smart:
  8. Or maybe the woman/jogger embellished her story a bit and gave a report of what she truly wanted to see in a "flasher"??!!! Remember, woman have poor depth perception and sense of proportion.
  9. You don't have an incriminating birth mark or mole on your "tallywacker" do you??!!:lmao2:I just had to say that, because in a "round-a-bout" way this situation reminds me of the first "Porkys" movie!!!!!
  10. Did the cops say if she was "hot" or not??!!
  11. Wow, I didn't think anyone was cheaper.................I mean more frugal than I am!!!!!!! Buahahahahah!!!!:lmao: Way to go Bud!!!!:thumbup2: I may just get to 200k on my '04.5 before you do yet!!! Just under 164k now!!!!
  12. This is the different "air horn", is it not???Richard is a great guy to talk to............and most times you can actually get a hold of him when you call!!!
  13. 200,000 yet??? Just a wondering!!
  14. It truly is a great feeling to be "debt-free".:thumbup2:Only mandatory payments I have are credit cards(business mainly), electric, natural gas, internet, various insurances, license plates and property tax. House, truck, boat, work trailer etc. are all mine!!!:thumbup2:Good deal for you!!! Those payments weigh on you.....:spend:
  15. There's not much to be gained (performance wise) by removing the kitty on this era of our trucks. Moreso especially if you live in an area with emission checks and such. If that bad boy is as clean and priced like you say; git 'er done and buy it!!!
  16. I believe this to be correct. Back in the days of leaded gasoline; the lead was added to increase the "octane rating" of the fuel. Nowadays other products are added to increase the "octane rating" of gasoline............ethanol comes to mind!!!! The higher octane rating allowed for a higher compression ratio in the cylinders because it delayed pre-ignition enough to allow the spark plugs to ignite the air/fuel mixture. I don't think there was that much difference of BTU's in the fuel based on the octane rating. It is only a rating also. If you look at the gasoline pumps; it says 87 Octane in big numbers. Below that, in smaller print, it says something like R+N/2 method. There are 2 methods or equations to figuring the octane rating. They just take the average of the 2 methods.
  17. Lemme know on how that turns out; as I may try it also. Yeah; I know, if it ain't broke fix it until it is!!!!!!! This clutch is still awesome!!! Before I posted, I had to check on my numbers. I had the clutch installed at about 71,000 miles...............Mighty Whitey has just under 164,000 now!!!
  18. Mine does the same........moreso when I have a cold tranny though. When sitting at a stop and go light, I usually sit in neutral. When the light turns, and I depress the clutch; if it doesn't fall into gear, I just rev the engine a hair, and then she'll fall in. I've got the NV5600.............don't remember if you do or not.I have stock hydraulics also and have almost 100,000 miles on this clutch.
  19. Much of the diesel I buy has some % of bio in it. I still add my 16oz. of 2 stroke or about 1/2oz. per 1 gallon of diesel in my '04.5. I've not noticed any ill effects either.
  20. I've got friends up in Sturgeon Bay, WI. Quite a few extended family members of theirs have worked in the ship building industry. A lot of the really big boats with the monster diesels in them have to "pre-heat" the fuel to make it thin enough to pump and inject. They said it's almost like "TAR" until it's heated. Wonder what the cetane level is for that goo??!!!
  21. This^^^^^^^ --- Update to the previous post... AH64ID..... Was it you that posted about this a while back about the 3rd gen timing???? I think you said; or I read somewhere, that right around 1800rpm, the timing on the stock programming of our trucks is "retarded". It then goes back to normal (for lack of a better word) at around 2100rpm. Do you think this could be the cause of the early '04.5's 1800rpm rattle or knock????? Thinking too much again.
  22. Why I sometimes hear music in the marsh when I'm out duck hunting. Those golden owners are doing some "cross-training"!!!!!
  23. OCTANE=ability of fuel to resist "pre-ignition". CETANE=ability of fuel to "spontaneous" combust IOW, cetane and octane are inversely proportional!! Not arguing, just saying!!!
  24. Mike, remember all the threads on "the other forum" when the '04.5's came out about the 1800rpm rattle/pre-ignition knock??? IMHO, a lot of it was fuel related. As much as some folks like to say the 3rd gens were designed for ULSD,..........I'm really not so sure on that. For one, why all the need for reflashes etc. on trucks???? My "knock" stopped when I stopped using PS+MMO and started using 2 stroke oil exclusively. I had the Edge J w/A on the truck at the time of the change over also. The switch stopped the rattle. The rattle I'm refering to sounds like a "pre-ignition" sound in gassers. It seemed to turn on about 1800rpm. I think it had something to do with the multiple injection events of the 3rd gens and too much cetane in the fuel. Just my humble theory!!
