2nd Generation Dodge 24 Valve Powertrain

On my 01 Cummins it only has code P0216. I turned off my Edge Comp box and cleared the code and test drove it. It was still lacking power when cold (not making boost), and it popped 0216 again. I wanted to rule out that the Comp Box maybe causing the issue. Would I need to actually unplug the Edge Comp box map sensor and plug the OEM harness to the map sensor and unplug the Edge tuner, instead of just turning it off, as a true bypass test to rule out the Edge Comp box causing the timing issue? The previous owner did tell me that he ran it low on fuel pressure from the lift pump once and changed the fuel filters on the FASS 165. Lift pump pressure …

I have an 01 3500 HO i just replaced about every sensor n the truck along with the grounding mods and alternator mods. The truck is breaking up bad through the whole RPM range. it does puff white and black smoke from the exhaust. I just resolved an issue with my AirDog loosing ground and cutting out. i have the following codes. P0230 P0254 P0370 P1690 What route should i go next?

I got it used off line and guy said he was upgrading to a 3 pod. well I got ready to trial fit it and the speaker is not in correct place and this is one that fits over the factory one you drill holes etc to mount it on top of. errrrrghhhhhhh! Man this makes me mad what year would this have fit on its same demensions as factory as far as lenth width just speaker hole different spot so this makes it impossible to mount on factory one! EDIT, I thought I had a AD-100 when in fact I have a Raptor pump unit. Believe its pretty much the same except without the filters. Hi all more knowledgabe than I: In several circumstances there is talk of bleeding air from lines such as when a fuel filter is replaced, when the fuel pressure guage is installed, etc. My question is: How exacty is this done? I've heard that you turn the key three times. Is that with the clutch depressed to make the engine turn over or just with the key and no engine turn over? In the instructions for hooking up a fuel line to a guage isoator, the manual talkes about running the lift pump until the fuel flows good without air. How do you do this while you are in your truck turning the key, or cranking the engine? Hope the question makes sense. It will be obvious …

I’ve been trying to do some research of what the purpose of a lock up switch is but can’t find a clear answer. I get that it’s used to lock up the convertor but what I can’t find a clear answer on is under what scenarios would you want to use a lock up switch? I know this is a newbie question but I just don’t know the answer to it ?

Looking for some fittings today on internet... 2 questions... 1. Any source for a 1/2 inch, 90 degree push lock fitting? Can't seem to find one. (2 wheel drive with a sump is getting pretty low to ground, try to keep line up much as possible) 2. Is there a way to disconnect push lok fittings without cutting the fuel line? I need to check my bypass valve for debris on my fuel boss and I don't have a lot of extra fuel line if I cut it. I'm trying to diagnose my stall issue upon cold start up: the truck stalls/almost stalls when put into drive or reverse from a cold start. Once it's been run, it's fine the rest of the day. This started happening when I put my triple disc torque converter in. I have new injectors ready to go in, but connector tube o-rings won't be in till later this week. I'm guessing it's either low stall converter issues, debris in fuel line, or connector tube leak.

Are the intake and exhaust pushrods the same dimensions (from factory)?

Are todays thermocouples trust worthy enough to put them ahead of the turbo? I know you will get a much more accurate ex temp reading there.... but I'd sure hate to run a rotted off tip through the turbo! I have a couple of tractors that I'd like to equip them with..

Ordered both a Quad and Assassin last week, just waiting for them to arrive, it will be an ouch on the import duty and tax into the UK but thats life i'm afraid. Going to fit the Fuel transfer pump first, looking forward to getting shut of the electric thing. Not interested in getting on the more power bus with the quad just want to build a good mpg towing tune thats clean. One city 15 miles from me is going carbon neutral within the next few years which means a total ban on diesel vehicles, this can only get worse here so clean as me thinks. If that fails sell the cummins back into USA and spend the £ on my gas ram ☺

Curious on what people use for the iQuad Turbo Timer setting - minutes or temp and what values? I currently set mine for 330 degrees. Lately on hot summer days (like now) it takes a good amount of time to get to temp to shut off the ignition. Not sure what (or if) there are optimum values to cool the turbo down. Thanks

Got the high idle switch installed and was wondering about using it in MPG mode with the XZT. I read that in MPG mode the high idle switch alters timing. So does the XZT when its in the 65 hp setting. Any problems using the 2 together?

It wont connect for some reason. I shut the truck off and it bypassed turbo cool down and wont reconnect. I can connect to my OBD link scan tool but not the Quadzilla. Checked my hot wire, grounds are good, fuse is good.

I guess Im more confused after reading a ton of options. So I mostly pull with this truck, no hot rod just hauling hay, tractors and equip. Eng. has New 50hp DAP injectors and I am ok with the power of the injectors and the HO motor. Really looking for mpg, a little hp would be nice too. So do they have a tune like this I guess the real question Im asking is what do I need? Thanks

So back in April DAP sends an email launching the new Quadzilla injectors, but they don’t sell them on the DAP website. What’s the difference in the Quadzilla injectors vs the new DAP injectors they sell on the site? (Besides the green rubber seal)
