    Installed a new air dog and vp44 and decided to put a fuel pressure guage in my truck is it normal for fuel pressure to drop going up a hill.

    I installed gauges into my 2001 Auto. I had fuel pressure and pyro before. I added boost. Checked all the gauges for light up prior to fully mounting the pod. They all worked. Installed the pod and hooked up all the gauges. No lights for gauges and no illumination lights in dash. Parking lights also wont turn on with headlight switch. Turn signals, head lights, dome lights, blower motor, and radio all work. I went to start the truck, it fired then died. I have good fuel pressure to VP. I checked for codes and none. I checked fuses and all looked good. Batteries were a little low due to cold weather so they are on charger. I will crack lines at injectors next to see if get…

    Is there any oil that flows through the head under pressure? Doesnt ALL the oil in the head come through the push rods?

    Hello, im new here and to the 2nd gen community. Just picked up a 1999 dodge ram 24v a week or so ago from my uncle. Truck has sat for 5 years but fired up first try when i put a new driver side battery. secondary battery sits at 12.4v after charging it but primary wouldnt hold a charge. First drive, the car would approach redline at 30 mph, but after like 2 minutes, it fixed itself. Then i had the dreaded unlocking/locking of the TC around 45-55 mph. I did the @W-T ground and alternator wire relocation and now it does not like to shift or lock the converter when im on the highway. At 60 ish mph rpm is at 2500. I did the APPS reset after waiting a few hours with the batte…

  6. Husband's truck was struck by lightening. We have read every forum, post, anything that might give us some help. All fuses are good, cluster plug ins checked, all grounds checked, brand new batteries, FAAS lift pump, Edge Programmer, scan tools hooked up and nothing. No Bus, it will not start, it will turn over, CCD in overhead. PCM replaced yesterday with no change. ANY help is greatly appreciated. This truck is the workhorse of our farm.

    So I've been getting familiar with it a little, its still greek to me. I havent tapped the vp yet, just trying to see what to monitor. Went to youtube and saw a setting that had 9 different things in a square box with a lot of info on it. Im running an Iphone and maybe its on on it because of that I dont know. But cant seem to there from here. Anyone know what Im trying to explain that can tell me what to do to get it on my phone?

    Installed new edge Ez since my last one quit working. Now I have a problem where it goes into limp mode after too much boost I think? What’s causing this? Stuck wastegate?

    2000 dodge 47re 1-2 2-3 taking to long to shift, . it shifts at the right time just to long between gears. 3-4 shift good. trans was rebuild stock about 10000 mile ago. engine is stock diesel.

  10. My 01 doesnt get used much anymore, I start it about once a month for about 15 min. Used to get very little corrosion peach fuzz on battery cable when used daily. But now being parked lots of build up.

    Hey guys, I just bought a set of used injectors for my 2000 24 valve, the guy said they were DAP 100 hp but he seemed kinda greasy so I’m not so sure if I can trust him. Is there any way I can identify them from the numbers on the bodies? Any help is appreciated

    I recently performed my first rotor swap on my 98.5 2500. I pounded out the wheel studs with a single hit of a 5lb sledge. Easily came out. I swapped the wheel bearing assy over to the new rotors. Used same sledge to set the studs back in the same wheel bearing housing. A few studs did not want to set back in place flush. I whacked ‘em a few times and carried on. Thinking I’d pull ‘em right thru when I torqued the lug nuts up at wheel installation. Well I’m still cranking a few nuts tight. I’ve been test driving and get a slight vibration when braking. I have driven, braked and got hubs warm, then retorqued 3X. Seems I am almost there as the vibration is imp…

    I’ve noticed a lot of people have issues with getting IQuad to recognize an imported tune on Apple devices. I had the same issue and never found the pinned topic in the tunes section that discussed importing tunes. I was able to figure it out this evening and here’s how I did it. After purchasing a tune, click download in the browser on the Mopar1973Man order confirmation page. The file should now show up in your files folder. I have replaced every part per mechanics request from the injector pump, every sensor on the truck and now I am told that I need to send my PCM off. I don't have the money to continue this journey.     Several weeks ago I washed my engine, something I've done many times before. later the engine would spit rapidly out out the blue, water in fuel light came on, code came up for heater grid low voltage, and TPS/APPS, connection was loose on intake heater grid. Figured maybe water got in connections, so I put dielectric grease on all connectors. Happened intermittently after that and pulled the APPS/TPS code, so found a module from Freightliner , (I made the timbo wire mod previously), still get the rapid "spitting" it seems after fueling a low tank, have added Howes Fuel lubricator that's supposed to remove water.     Ok looking for some advice. Ok, so I bought a 99 dodge several months ago. The engine has been swapped out for an 02 engine and computer. The internal tone wheel had been retrofitted to the front of the balancer. For several months the truck had a p1690 code. I did all the checks on this page and everything checked out fine. I finally got it to go away by rotating the tone wheel 180 degrees on the balancer and the code is no more. Worked good for about an hour, than I got a code for p0216 accompanied by the dead pedal.     So I crawled under my 99 4x4 looking at taking my exhaust off to make way for my new 4inch straight pipe and noticed at the back of the transmission where the transfer case bolts up is wet. I’m assuming the rear seal on the tranny. Should this be fixable by dropping the transfer case?

    So when I’m driving down the road sometimes my truck loses its tach and usually comes back within a few minutes. When it does it the check engine light comes on too. After you shut it off and restart it check engine light is gone. Recently I was going down the road and it did it and missed a little when it lost its tach so I drove home to get my scan tool before I shut the truck off and got po336.
