Is this a common leak due to a bad seal, or does it look like it’s not seated all the way? Never noticed it before, but had the transmission built 1,000 miles ago. Would the trans shop had messed with this? It’s not a massive leak but I can see where it’s spinning and throwing oil all around.

I'm going to be purchasing a new dashboard after the first of the year and I'm looking for some input. I know Geno's has one for $330 and LMC has one for $220 that includes the vents on the side. Does anyone here have any experience with either of these replacement dashes? Obviously I'd prefer to go with LMC due to cost but don't want it to bite me in the butt down the road. ETA: Found an OEM replacement for $230 free shipping. I've heard the OEM replacement dashes are now made with ABS plastic but I'm not 100% sure. I asked the seller about it so I'll see what they say.

In the fuse box under the hood of an 02 24v I'm looking for a fuse that only has power when the key is in the on position. I don't have a light tester, just reading the fuse lables on the inside of the fuse box cover I could probably take a wild guess, but I figured I'd ask here real quick just to make sure.

hello, I just bought my first dodge. 02 slt Laramie, 24v, bone stock. I want to put an aftermarket stereo in it so I ordered the factory plugs, dash kit, speaker box for the back seat, etc. I went and bought a stereo from the local Walmart and went to install it. Using the factory wiring diagram on the top of the original stereo, I wired it up and im not getting any sound out of the speakers. It turns on and all that stuff but I can figure out why it won't work. My question is, on top of the two factory plugs and the ground wire, there is another set of wires the plug into the factory stereo that are pink and white with a small white connector. What is this a…

Wonder if anyone else has had this problem before I fire the parts cannon. Heat was selected to full hot, went to turn it to mix cooler and felt no change till it was halfway into the cold range. Then only felt cold air from vents. Turned back to heat slowly and again, didn't feel any change till halfway into the hot range then only felt full hot. Checked fuses, checked the plastic piece between the blend motor and door, pulled control panel and all connections are good. Everything else works normal such as fan speeds and vent selections, even max cold. Im assuming the temperature select part of the panel has failed but it could be s…

I like having my exhaust backpressure gauge, but right now its just a loose gauge by my gear shifter. My cheap-o glowshift pyrometer gauge crapped out (I still have the Edge pyrometer which is the one I monitor) so I'm thinking of replacing the pyrometer gauge in my A-pillar pod with an exhaust back pressure gauge to clean things up and make it easier to see. From what I can tell, the only difference between a mechanical air pressure, boost, or exhaust pressure gauge from Autometer ore Isspro is the letters on the face of the gauge and the exhaust back pressure gauge comes with a length of copper tubing (which I don't need because I have a stainless part that came with …

I have a 96 Ram with an auto tranny. Over time the gear selector has gotten harder and harder to move, I'm assuming it needs to be lubed. If it needs to be lube where are the usual places. I have put some graphic on the plastic pieces in the dash, but that didn't help too much. And what is the best lube to use? Thanks, Bob

I bought new Taillights for my 96 Ram and there is a clip on the body that the pin for the tail light fits into that is missing. The clip fits into a square hole in the body. Does anyone know where I can find one or is a salvage yard the only place to find one? I'll try and take a picture tomorrow if I get a chance. Bob

So basically i got myself a set of NHK projectors and retrofitted them into the autosaver 88 single piece headlights [non sport]. tested the plugs before i started building the harness. so after testing the pins i got : Low beam; pin1 12v pin 2 grnd, pin 3 inactive Hi beam; pin 1 ground, pin 2 inactive, pin 3 12v also noted that pin 1 is +12v even when headlights are off. So i built the harness and in the meantime something happened and now pin 3 is always hot. im over 12 hours into building the harness and this ****ery happens. im assuming a bad dimmer switch? the hi beam indicator still works which throws me off. pin 1 still acts normal switching from hot to ground when…

02 dodge squeals like a sob when I turn the wheel. Mainly to the left it seems. Stock wheels stock height. Only thing I have done steering related is a steering box brace and that was in May. It just has started a couple days ago squealing. I don't think it's something related to the box brace but y'all tell me what y'all think. I just greased all ball joints and no change. Sprayed the steering stabilizer with wd-40 no change.

Is there a difference between the front doors for a 2dr quad cab vs a 4dr quad? I’m wondering if doors from a 94-98 will fit on a 98.5 truck.

I just recently installed tow mirrors on my truck and wanted to share info I had found as I had pinched a few wires on my driver side mirror. The instructions with my tow mirrors didn’t even mention wiring. I thought I had them routed as optimal as possible but nope. Anyways, below are some pictures and a video of wire routing. These aren’t mine but it is how I routed mine after fixing my pinched wires.
