Ive replaced the rear sensor with a new from Napa and rock auto. Still no change. I can clear the codes and the lights go out momentarily then come right back on. The fuses for the abs system are good also, as are the underhood connections, along with the connection at the rear axle the pigtail is in good shape. the 74 code will come and go if I just sit with the truck running and scanner hooked up. Has anyone else had these codes with similar issues?

Sometimes when I turn my AC / heater on off knob on there is a delay for it to go on. Not all the time but once in awhile. Usually if its on and I turn the ignition switch on it goes on normally. After you drive about 30 sec 1 minute or so the ac and blower will then go on Its not the blower fan speed knob but the top on/ off knob Anyone had this issue? Bad blower motor resistor?

Ever since I got my new clutch that hooks up a little too good for my liking, I have been forced to start off in 1st. I do try 2nd a lot but it likes to jerk really bad since it's so sticky. So what gear do all you guys with manuals start in? I'm talking without a trailer and level ground.

So yesterday I'm underneath the truck checking lower control arms and notice the hydroboost is leaking so onto R/A and no seal kits just unit for a "I don't think so price". Onto ebag and here in the UK there are maybe 20 listed with the 3 seals all saying "exact copy" and "3 weeks delivery" and seller in London...... yeah right.... doesn't take a rocket scientist to figure out where they all are from. On ebag.com thinking I'm bound to find a seal kit made either here or the USA or anywhere other than ...... Found one ebag listing proudly saying made in the USA but he doesn't ship outside of the USA....... haven't these people heard of the GSP ebag runs, …

I have been thinking about adding a snow plow to my truck for this season if I can get it for the right price. I was wondering what anybody's thoughts and opinions were on adding one. I am a little nervous since it has coil springs up front and I'm not sure if they will take the abuse very well. Thanks in advance.

This morning, I was in the drive through to pick up a coffee. I shut truck off so they could hear me through the intercom, and then turned truck on and waited in line. I could hear the grids turning off and on like normal. After a couple minutes, I hear it engage one last time l, but didn't hear the truck return to normal(still sounded like there was an electrical load.) Sure enough, im watching my volt meter drop and not go back to normal. Waited about a minute and then shut the truck off. turned it back on, no issues. Grids cycled and everything was good. Does this sound like a relay problem? Also id like to ask you guys this question. So if i let my truck …

Hello All,I have a 2001 Dodge Ram 2500 4X4 CDT Auto, and I did the sport headlight conversion a while ago and I recently bought the wiring harness from Daniel Stern Lighting. My initial impressions the harness uses very good components and heavy gauge wire. My truck was an export to Canada and I do have the DRL and I did the DLR mod as instructed by Daniel stern. However I do have two problems that I am tiring to resolve. 1. When I hook up the harness the drivers low beam is on all the time with the key on or off. When I turn on the headlights the low beam works only the drivers side and the high beam works as it should. 2. My fog light relay i…

Last year I had a blow out on my right rear tire while pulling my g/n hay trailer empty. The blow out tire tore my fender mud flap almost off. The mud flap was not damaged but the rubber piece that fits between the flap and fender was torn up. Dodge no longer has this part available so I was wondering if some one has the piece that I need. I will be happy to pay you for it. I am not able to go wrecking yard hunting. Thank you, Kerley.

Well I tried using the members ride page but it would not let me post on my stuff. Also I like hearing opinions about my truck so Ill make a blog here and just copy what Ive done to here from cummins form then keep it up to date! --- Update to the previous post... Well its been a month or so Ive not been on DB. Been to busy with finals and work. But I thought instead of a bunch of posts about what all I did to the truck Ill just make one super giant post. First off I finally got my sound system installed to the truck. A sony Headunit with usb and aux inputs 6X9 Rockford fosgate 3 ways in the doors 6.5 Rockford fosgate 3 ways in the back doors (I bi…

My "new" "used" 2006 Lone Star 4x4 quad cab 5.9 cummins has an emblem on the tailgate that say "RamLock". In searching the internet for RamLock I see references to automatic locking tailgate and also to locking differential. So what exactly is "RamLock"? Wondering if anyone has gone through this issue before or any suspension gurus out there? I've been in the process of getting this front end tightened up and pretty much have it were I want, now without all the wandering and whatnot I'm noticing out on the highway while under throttle it's pulling to the left. Pretty much new front end other than control arm bushings & ball joints which have no apparent need for replacement, although they could be original as far as I know. I've replaced rear spring shackle bushings awhile back because of a uneasy fishtail feeling I got last summer while towing and noticed they were pretty worn/cracked. I'm still not co…

Now I've gone to the exterior lighting. The left bulb is a switchback bulb for the front marker / turn signal. It's a white light on parking lamps but amber on the turn signal. Then the bulb on the right is a standard red tail light blub. Both sets are above normal lumens. Front amber https://www.superbrightleds.com/moreinfo/tail-brake-turn/3157-switchback-led-bulb-dual-function-60-smd-led-tower-a-type-wedge-retrofit-car/1916/4478/ Rear red https://www.superbrightleds.com/moreinfo/tail-brake-turn/3156-3157-ck-led-bulb-dual-function-27-smd-led-tower-wedge-retrofit/3557/7523/

Ok. The 4x4 works sometimes and not other times. The light rarely comes on when in 4x4. To start things off I was out driving in some snow this winter in 4x4(or at least the lever was in 4x4) and I was going up a small hill and all of a sudden the 4x4 quit working. I never heard any grinding or anything. 4x4 hi and 4x4 lo was both the same. I moved the lever from Hi to Lo several time and then It started working. So I figured the linkage was out of adjustment. So next day I adjusted it and it seemed to work although the light was not on. Couple weeks later I ran into some mud and got it stuck. Turns out the 4x4 still was not working right. After moving the lever from hi t…

Here you go gang you all wanted pictures I got them tonight after aiming my PIAAs. The PIAAs are the 530 RF series LED driving lights. http://www.piaa.com/store/p/187-LP530-3-5-LED-Driving-Light-Kit.aspx I'll admit the PIAAs are BRIGHTER than my HID's. For such a small lamp package and two small LEDs it really throws a bright patch of light out there. Here is just the PIAAs. Now the Morimoto HIDs on low beam with the PIAA 530 RF series. Look closely you see the step in the beam in the middle of the road. Nice flat cut off of the beam from the Morimoto HID's. The beam path is actaully very wide it will travel at least 2…

Hey guys I’m having a pretty scary issue with the truck recently that got pretty bad yesterday after a long trip. This issue or one similar seems to have occurred to the previous owner only 13k miles ago. This is the invoice for his repairs at 198k (212k now) Invoice I also have a synergy steering box brace. Whenever I’m not on the gas or the truck is decelerating the steering will get very heavy, if I’m on the highway I can tell there is no power assist when I’m on the gas. If I’m pulling into a driveway or pulling up to turn at a stop sign or something, the steering will usually lock up completely. Taking my foot off the brake and turning the wh…
