I may be purchasing a 12 valve in the near future that is 100% bone stock with only 60K miles on it. Is there such thing as an all-in-one LCD display that can display: fuel pressure, boost pressure, oil pressure, radiator temp, tranny temp, intake air temp, EGT’s, etc? I have a quad on my 24v and it’s really nice having one screen with all my info right there. Any advice would be greatly appreciated!

Hey guys I have a little issue that I'm not sure how to determine where it's coming from exactly. Every time I round my cul-de-sac (sharp left turns at low speed basically) I get a rubbery feeling vibration through the steering wheel. Doesn't make a whole lot of noise, just a feel. It started out as a quick, sudden thing, but now happens for about the entire first rotation of the steering wheel. I'm not sure where to start looking and probably wouldn't know what exactly to look for even if I did. I have been thinking about buying the Rock Solid Ram steering bushing to tighten up the wheel a tad, should I do this and see if it still happens?

Well I finally bit the bullet and bought a 5th wheel. As most of you know our 4x4 trucks sit a little high and the rear of my bed is a little closer then I like. I did some research and found that dodge made at one time shorter spacer blocks that was 1 7/8 inches shorter then stock. I checked today and the local dealer said that they are not available and none are listed in stock in there system. Soooo I had a thought that I should be able to just have a set machined off and shorter u bolts installed.. The RV dealer that installed my hitch said that they send there rigs with this problem to a local welder (I have dealt with him and he does excellent work) to weld dropped …

Ok i did a search for power seats and did not come up with what i was looking for. I Have a 2002 QC and am trying to swap in a driver power seat. I did research this and it seemed that the wiring was already there according to what i found. I added the breaker and tested the wires i have. I have a 4 pin connector with 3 wires. I think it was the red/blue that powered up with the addition of the breaker it was the only wire not used in the seat connector of the non power seat. After all that i look at the seat i have as a replacement and it has a rectangle plug with many more wires then what i have. Obviously this is not going to work. Do i need a different seat? …

I get this intermittent low-pitched growl from my new brake pads. Turning a corner seems to start the noise. Like I said, it's intermittent and may not show up for a week or more. While it's occurring, if I step on the brake pedal the noise stops but returns as soon as I lift my foot. All I can think is that the pads are dragging somehow. I've removed the wheels to look at the rotors, pads etc and all seems normal. When I did my brake job, all I did was replace the pads. I did nothing to the calipers or pistons.Should I have removed the pistons and cleaned them or anything else? This noise doesn't seem to affect drivability or stopping, but it sounds so horrendous I figure it…

My right hip is giving me trouble and it is painful to lift my leg up to enter the vehicle. Can someone recommend a set of cab steps that will hold up to heavy weight and attach in a way that's not going to pull away from the vehicle. Don't really want nerf bars.

My friend Tony went out of town on a hunting trip so I had to take my 12v to another shop he mentioned for the oil and filter to be changed and fuel filter to be changed. I dropped it off last Thursday and picked it up a couple of hours ago. Left my phone number in case they couldn't get it started because of fuel filter change. They never called and that was the issue for taking 6 days to complete. Everything except the fuel gauge worked fine prior to leaving it with this shop. I get in to crank it and it acts like it is in 20* below zero, A/C only comes out the wind shield vents and cruise doesn't work either. More crap to deal with. I don't have a clue where to start l…

Hello all, I purchased a reman gearbox today and was very close to completion when I ran into a problem. The input collar that comes down from the telescoping end will not slide over the splines on the gearbox. I line the flat edge up with the corresponding side, wiggle down, and it only goes down about an 1/8 inch or so and sticks. I tried expanding the collar with a screwdriver thinking it was too tight from the previous box, but that doesn't seem to work either. I've cleaned up the splines really well and sprayed a bit of WD-40 as well with no luck. I have since stepped away for the night as the frustration began to build. Am I forgetting something simple h…

Today everything was fine until suddenly the abs lights pop up... when I stopped I heard something running and it was the booster pump motor. Even with the key off it was going 90 to nothing. I unplugged it and it stops. Plugged back in still has same issue. What could it be any ideas?

I know the classic abs/brake lights, one of the many curses for these truck but here we go. replaced both front sensors, replaced the sensor in the rear diff, checked all the wiring, checked the switch for the e-brake, brake fluid is good, all calipers work as they should. Recently came into a good scanner that could read ABS codes and hooked it up, it'll read engine no problem but not abs. Is it possible that the abs module is mad and not allowing the scanner to read and that's why the lights are on? (I also thought maybe it doesn't work but I read the codes on the jeep and the other ram, found out those issues so I know it wor…

As i sit here at a local auto shop for an alignment, after replacing my steering parts with moog, the auto guy comes out to tell me that he won't be able to remove the clunk noise im getting in the steering parts. He proceeds to tell me that i should have gotten better steering parts as these joint ends don't have anything to keep them from rotating. I know what he's taking about as i have seen them before. He told me with the way it sits they won't last long. He was shocked to hear that they are moog parts. Although i thought the solid pieces he's talking for the joint ends were to just combat the death wobble more. I would think that moog would …

I have a reversable oil fluid pump with several size hoses and adapters or tubing for extracting fluids. Does anyone know if I could use suction on each brake bleed valve as an easy peasy way ? The calipers are very prone to sticking and I hate the way the heat will cook the bearing's grease away. It can get expensive in a hurry if you neglect the brake fluid changes on a regular basis.

I recently had to replace my steering box due to a broken output shaft. Put a upgraded Borgeson steering box on the truck that I got used for a good price. Worked fine on the truck it came off of. Ever since the brake pedal has been really hard to push initially, then when it gets past the hard spot in the pedal, the brakes seem to almost lock up and toss you into the dash. The steering assist is almost non existant at idle. The assist goes away completely when using the brakes. Steering acts completely normal driving down the road but the brake problem is still present. Just installed a new Borgeson power steering pump on to replace the old one per their recommendation. …
