Got tired of elbow robbing on armrest especially on longer trips, desided to try some padding. First I used some packaging foam made out of plastic but it wore out in few weeks, so I got kids floor puzzle tile and cut it out of that, because it always comes out of it even after months of crap sitting on it. So I give you this, enjoy.... Thank me later, btw I used hot glue gun, worked perfect.

OK Gang... I discovered something today... For all of you that have mechanical fuel pressure gauges that are direct plumbed can have even more safety now. I found that you can get 1/8" air brake line at NAPA for cheap. The nice part is that the air brake line is rated well above 150 PSI (which I hardly doubt a 15-20 PSI lift pump will blow) and it extremely flexable. So if you kink the line it doesn't break off like oil pressure gauge tubing. This is Polyon Air Brake line. My problem was where my old school big line kit has the tap in the line for gauge is in between the filter and VP44 so every time I would work on my truck I would flex line so much I break it off. Now I…

I haven't really finished, but figured I'd throw up a thread anyway. I haven't had them out for a test ride yet but I was fed up with ____ factory lights and didn't want to put a bunch of extra lights up there, so here's the new ricey hotness yay boxes of crap! old and busted new hotness in a box Wiring relays while I'm at it. After looking at the high and low patterns I was 90% sure I'd want to be able to run both on high, so I'll get a diode to trigger the low beam relay from the output of the high relay. Without the diode, the low trigger lights the high beams. Ask me how I know Naked! Ricey.... But not as bad as I'd fea…

I am going to get rid of the 22s that I have on my truck now and I may have found a set of 2012 wheels someone took off their new truck. Y'all think $400 for a set of new takeoffs is fair? I would really prefer 18" wheels, but 17s wouldn't be horrible.ETA: The 22s came with the truck... I didn't go buy gangsta wheels.

Time to tackle my Air Conditioning slow leak before summer Its had a slow leak. Have to refill r134 every summer I checked for leakage areas last year and didnt see anything that stood out, Fittings on compressor etc Are slow leaks usually the front shaft seal on the compressor? Are these compressors on a '99 worth it to replace the seal and keep your original compressor kinda like its a good Idea to keep your original denso starter than swap it for a chineze napa junk, or is it better just to get a rebuilt compressor from rock auto Wish I had a AC sniffer.... Does harbor frieght sell a r134 sniffer leak detector…

On my 1998.5, I recently upgraded from the stock wheels to some 2014 take offs (275 70 R18's) and added 2" spacers. I have put about 3k on them and yesterday noticed some front end noise. The tie rods feel very sloppy now. Few questions: Will luke's links fix this problem? or Should I rebuild with moog parts? Do you think the larger rims, tires, and spacers caused my front end issues? Thanks, Philo

a few months ago, I replaced my shocks all the way around on my truck. They were shot, replaced them with bilstein 5100. It definitely helped the up and down recover, but the truck still bounces side to side a lot more. What I mean is if I hit a speed bump one tire at a time, the truck rocks side to side much more than I remeber it doing originally. Looked at the sway bar links, and don't see any kind of wear on it, even when I bounce it manually. So maybe the coils are tired? How can you tell? What other causes might there be? Up and down is fine, so I don't think its the shocks.

Back in the winter i changed heater core and evaporator core and i put some insulation around the evaporator to keep air from passing and i think the insulation has the box in a bind or something. The heat is on all the time if u turn the fan on and it fills hot if u stick your hand up to the vents with it off, I was wondering where the vacuum for the flap for ac and if u could see if it will move by hand?

My OEM radio was getting on my nerves. It would stop displaying the clock at random times and there was no sound from the front speakers. My wife got tired of not being able to change the radio stations because she couldn't see the display so she bought me a new Pioneer system. I connected it all up and everything works except the front speakers are still dead. I started searching Google looking for info about no front audio and it seems there is a choke relay that feeds the front speakers for the amps. I looked in the Dodge FSM and sure enough it says if there is no sound from the front speakers then troubleshoot the choke relay. I checked the wiring diagram and I …
