OK I've been messing with this blinker issue for a little bit now, my drivers side front turn signal won't blink, but the running light works. I've swapped blinker relays, along with the turn signal actuator, and cleaned my grounds. Wtf am I missing?

I realized the other day that I haven't heard my fan kick in lately. When the truck was cooled off I grabbed the fan blade and the was quite a bit of resistance. Wouldn't spin freely at all. I haven't had any heating issues, but was wondering if there was any other way to test it. Bob

Hello, I am new to the site and new to the Dodge world. I recently bought a used '99 Ram 3500 and it is in pretty good condition. As the weather here in Northern Utah is getting cooler, the need for AC is decreasing. On the air direction selector control (I have no idea what the legal name is for the control) the majority of the vent positions turn the AC system on. The selections are OFF, AC Max w/upper vents, Normal upper vent, Lower and Upper vent, lower vent, Lower vent w/Defrost, Defrost only. (I think I am forgetting one?) Any way, this is the first vehicle that I have owned that has not had a AC power button, so the AC system in this truck, and verified in my the o…

Hi I'm going through the front end on my 99 24v 4x4, I want to replace the hub ball joints. Ball joints on my truck seem to be in the hub/carrier rather than the axle. Has anyone got the part numbers for the correct ones? And what brands do you guys recommend. I live over seas and dont want stuff that's going to fail early, also being in the UK returning the wrong parts is costly ?? Thanks

So I've had the DOR track bar on for almost 2 weeks now and it's been great having the extra strength up there and it's keeping everything in line much better when truckin down the road. When my brother and I originally put the track bar on we basically used the stock end links as visual cues as to where the 'center' would be. Well going solely on that, I think things turned out pretty good. Truck drives straighter then it ever has and has little to no wonder now and I haven't even gotten a proper alignment yet. Needless to say I was taking out the trash and just happen to glance over and saw that my passenger side tire is sticking out noticeably further then …

So as I was walking down my driveway today, I happened to look at my truck to see it sagging towards the driver side. So I just double checked my sanity and grabbed a couple levels and put them on my bed and sure enough it was leaning over towards that way. Next step, I measured the driveway, and believe it or not the driveway "leans" towards the passenger side! So I measured the tires, front left to front right and so forth and sure enough on the rear driver side tires, they're over an inch off, whereas the fronts are 1/2". Also I might add, when I step up into the truck that leaf close to where it connects to the front shackle creeks pretty good, and its easy to rock th…

  10. Brake system on my 02 4x4 was not opened up, problem started a few weeks ago after replacing both front hub assemblies. Just pressed brake pistons in and left them hang. Before starting it I pumped the brakes a few times to get the pistons filled and pushed back out. now ever since I loose my power brakeing after about 2-3 applications or prolonged applications like rolling to a stop sign ect. The pedal gets rock hard and there is a grinding noise almost like air in the system and a pump is cavitating sort of like the abs pump is acting funny. I have bled the brakes and get no air and the power steering is operating well and level is good. Brakes work excellent otherwise,…

well i started my day with a call from work sayig take the day off. YIPPEEE working on my cummins all day:thumb1:. got the valve cover gaskets changed, oil changed, and the brakes bled.fired the truck up.....and shortly after i notice fuel dripping down the side of the tank, so i crawl under and look and sure enough at the top of the tank its dripping around the area of the HEAVILY rusted steel fuel line leaving the top of the tank.in my honest opinion both steel lines look to be in poor condition with flaking rust, which is ironic because theyre one of the only things rusty underneath of the whole truck.so what it comes down to.....--IS there a place to get aftermarket f…

Anyone else have the problem of getting the tailgate handle to release both latches at the same time? I have to manually flip the catch on the passenger side and then lift the handle to open the tailgate. No wear on the pivot points, plastic rod retainers not worn.

So recently I had an incident in my truck during hurricane sandy.....and need less to say I hurt my truck:cry:. And now I'm in the rebuilding process and have run into some issues. Basically my steering knuckle is bad. I was searching around and one of my buddy's has a parts truck that is the same as mine, ( 2wd standard cab 2500) but its a gasser. Will the knuckle still work on my truck????

  19. My lift pump (Raptor 100) is not coming on...the idiot light came on just a mile away from my home so pulled in the driveway to check it out. Not hearing the pump cycle when I bump start. Did not see voltage on yellow wire or illuminate a test probe light during 25 sec bump. Truck starts and idles (from little lift pump in vp44?). I'd like to test continuity from the ECM plug to the lift pump but don't know what pin hole is the right one? Or any other suggestions? Really appreciate some help! Thanks,

Well After several weekends I FINELY got these suckers hooked up! Been waiting on time and parts. So I got 2 of the 100 watt spots and mounted them to the axle with 2 pipe bands each. Took a while to find out what wires went where in this mess that some one made for me. There are wires coming and going everywhere! Put the relay on the inside of the frame after I did a waterproof job with some tape and got it up out of the way. Next I ran my switched power and a ground to the lights. I ran a ground just to play it safe and have a ton of wire on hand. Ran the wires in that plastic wire covering, through the frame rails and down to the axle. …
