2nd Generation Dodge Reliability / Performance

Im not very techy but I'm getting ready to upgrade my quadzilla to the v2, does anyone know if I can add more apps to an Android head unit like the Alpine iLX-W650 and use that for everything? I have pillar mounted guages so it wouldn't need to run the quadzilla guages all of the time. Thanks

HOW DO YOU GUYS FEEL ABOUT PROPANE INJECTION FOR FUEL MILEAGE. I AM CONSIDERING IT FOR FUEL MILEAGE, I CAN GET PROPANE FOR ABOUT $1.50 A GALLON. BESIDE THE RISK OF DRIVING AROUND WITH A BOTTLE BOLTED TO YOUR TRUCK. I KNOW THE PERFORMANCE END IS GREAT BUT IS IT WORTH THE HASSLE IN THE END.

I want to drain tranny and fluid any suggestions while I'm in there would you do a power flush what type of fluid etc

I've noticed when I tow my fifth wheel, or any trailer with weight to it, when the temp gauge on the quadzilla app goes past 204 it will read -40c. 5he dummy gauge on the dash is still in the normal range, and if I let off of it for just a little the temp will come back to 204° and slowly drop on down. So has anyone had this issue and if so what is the fix? Thanks

Hello everyone, gonna make this shirt and sweet and can update more after work. I did the overhead wrong I believe (first time doing it) and lost the valve bridge on said intake. The cap fell off as well and I’m having trouble getting the cap back into the plastic retainer, keeps going in a bit crooked and I’m weary of just tightening the adjuster and letting it go flush after startup… also believe the top of the push rod is bent slightly, whether this loose valve adjustment caused it or it was like that when I swapped the head this weekend, I’m not sure. So I'm looking for a Drier/ Accumulator and an orface tube and the cheapest place to find parts for both of those is Partsgeek for $20/piece. I know about being weary of online stores like Rock Auto and such but I didnt know if anyone has bought their A/C parts or what. Anything helps as always, thanks!

I completely forgot about this program until tonight when I was perusing the articles on quadzilla. I tried to open it with excel on my pc, but since I haven't paid for it, it won't let me use all the features. Or any of them really. I tried using the online excel program, and it won't even load there, something about Nick.skt (or something like that) won't load. Are any of you still using this, and how do I make it work without paying $99 for the damn license? I have tried a program called LibreOffice, and it will load, but again, the buttons won't work, and it won't load any of the exported tunes I've emailed myself. Thanks again for the help…

So, I had no oil pressure, had good oil level, truck ran fine, 2001 24 V. I replaced the oil pressure sender under the wiring harness. I still have no oil pressure showing on the dash cluster. Could it be a bad sender, or a bad gauge on the dash? I'm throwing no DTC or error codes on an INOVA code reader. I bought a mechanical, Autometer oil pressure gauge. Can I locate the sending unit on the oil filter housing, or is there a better place? I searched all of the other posts on the forum, and no one has had the problem of replacing the sender and still having no oil pressure. Thanks!

Looked up and it's a water temperature sensor code. Popped the hood and the red wire on the high idle connection at the thermostat broke off at the connector. Don't worry, it's an old unit from Yankneck. I unplugged it and plugged the original connection back and the check gauges light is out, but the code won't clear. Maybe need to disconnect at the back of the head too...the one I can't reach myself. Need a gal or a guy with feminine hands.

I'm need some help. Im wanting to connect my adrenaline v2 box to my computer for the fitst time. Can any give me pointers? Is there a how to video any that one has?

Check out the video we shot after installing the custom 47RE that I built for Dynomite Diesel Products. This project that they are doing might be of interest to all of the 2nd Gen guys on here. This particular truck is a 1997 with a 12 valve (and 16K original miles!), but many of the concepts will apply to the 24 valves as well. It might be fun to follow along as they do their turbo testing and fueling mods in stages, all while documenting everything with actual dyno numbers. It might help a lot of guys avoid some of the pitfalls and poor setups that we see out there.

I have been working closely with Michael (www.mopar1973man.com) & Jacob (Jkidd AKA www.dieselautopower.com) to come up with a simple & user friendly switch setup for distribution. I'm trying to figure out if i got my wires right before i solider them to the switches. I think the white and black go to each outside and the yellow to the center?

Hey guys I'm curious what the symptoms of failure are for my stock sticks. They have 125k on them and my truck seems to surge lightly on idle and almost miss a little bit at hwy speeds. Hey gents, having an issue with my iQuad BT. I had Quadzilla update the box to the v2 tuning and I have the correct V2 1998.5-2002 vehicle profile selected. I've purchased a tune or two off of the Quad Downloads section and it won't allow me to select it. This is an issue for me on multiple devices, they're all .json files. One of the tunes I was able to select but once I open it with the Quad app the whole app crashes. Is there a way to manually open up the tune file and manually input them into my app? Anybody run into this issue before? About ready to ditch the iQuad and go back to an Edge... Here's a screen shot of the what it looks like

Does anyone know the hole diameter and location of the bleeder hole? Mine came with the Allen screw hole but no bleed off hole.
