So... I have a bit of a project..
I've never been a big fan of the aluminium skinned RV's after owning the 1976 Dodge Jamboree. That had the exact same issues all the front corners leaked and the roof was constantly leaking too. Now here is where the two Jayco differ... Tracy's is a aluminium skinned mine is fiberglass both the same floor plan. So far I've been rather diligent about keeping it sealed up. I've got to do some more on mine and also redo a few spots I'm not happen with before a leak does occur. Sometime this summer I got to treat the rubber roof as well.

That time of the year again
What size hay bails are those?

Hard start and more smoke
I tend to agree the white smoke is possibly a injector issue. I would consider having them pop tested to see where your at. Typically its a free test.

What is everyone doing these days?
Well between doing oil changes on the wood splitter, lawn mower and 96 Dodge Ram I've been busy this morning. Then fixing the dam wall of the pond out back. Burning trash in my burn barrels. But now with the summer heat coming on by tomorrow it will be in the low 90's here and closer to 100*F in Riggins, ID. So I work during the morning hours outside as much as possible then hide for the afternoon heat. Then back out for the evening hours. I'm pretty sure I should start getting phone calls for air conditioning charging and repairs.

2001 auto, 18# boost
I typically think the Edge Products boost elbow is better than the adjustable elbow. But that's me...

At this rate Tracy you might get to use it this fall. I know its not a easy task of tearing on down and fixing. I'm getting itchy to see your finished product though...

What is everyone doing these days?
Just that I was wondering I wander around several web site from Linux, Administration site, Cummins Sites, to to a few other odd balls like LiveOak's (Tractor Farm And Family). But I've see a pretty good drop in the last few weeks even here is almost 200 less people a day. So I'm just about right in my thinking the weather improved people are outside like myself and doing other things. Not much with truck failures. Pretty soon I should see a few pop up with overheating issues and air conditioning issues. As for me I've been racing to get as much wood as possible Riggins, ID is going into the 100 degree mark on top of this thunder storms this week. Ugh!

DRB 3 abilities
Dude what a sweet deal... Wow! There is plenty of diagnostic stuff you can do with those. I'm pretty sure you could make some good money doing diagnostic work in your area.

DRBIII scanners are are typically $5,000 to $9,000 a scan tool. Are you sure its a true DRBIII tool? Not to mention the tool isn't going to be worth much without the subscription to Chrysler Database of Software. http://www.autoditto.com/drb-iii.html?gclid=CN-m2eCmn78CFQaBfgodqIIAAg http://www.ntxtools.com/network-tool-warehouse/OTC-CH6020A-AM.html

Bad Neighbor...
Not exactly a wise idea. A guy is firing a weapon at night and your going to to sneak around trying to catch him in the act. You are asking to possibly be shot at. This is why I would suggest law enforcement before. Like my neighbor had some kids doing the same thing I step out and yell at them to cut it out. The bullets start flying my direction. People do weird things when intoxicated or on drugs so I would do the smart thing and just notify the law before sticking your own neck out.

I bought a Bad Boy!
Holy cow... I couldn't even think of getting one of those. I'm having a tough time justifying 1,200 for a old school riding lawn mower and mine is on it last leg.

Bad Neighbor...
I would make a call to the police for disturbing the peace.

What did you do before breakfast?
Glad to hear you doing good... As for me... Another rainy day. So MoparMom and myself went to McCall, ID shopping before breakfast and then came home around 1pm so breakfast was lost again. Late brunch???

body armor test #1
Man... This crazy to listen to but real. Sad to say our country is turning this way but you have to defend your property and stock any way you can. Can't rely on police enforcement. Average response time for 911 calls in some areas can be quite alarming. I was just talking to MoparMom about the fact I've got to finish fencing the front of the property off. Most people don't want to try to climb over a bared wired fence in a hurry when there is a Doberman Pincher hot on his tail. Not to mention when the land owner happens to be packing as well.

Power steering flush
I just shove a long piece of hose over the nipple of the pump and then a long piece of hose to extend the power steering pump return to a waste bucket.

Going Solar Powered On The Rv
That's exactly how I started out. Was a little portable 400w Inverter (cigarette lighter). Worked but larger surge loads like older TV's and my laptop would bury that little inverter and get the fan running. This is why my panels are NOT mounted to the RV. It so the RV can be in the shade but the panels can be located in the sun. So I don't require air conditioning while camping.

Going Solar Powered On The Rv
Well I finished my transfer switch mod. The switch is a 3 position DPDT switch so its a ON OFF ON. One ON Side is Inverter then the other ON side is city power. The center off is a nice touch to give a absolute break between both ON positions insuring that there is no cross feeding of power between the city and inverter. Added my cord and plugged into the inverter. Really sweet setup. Walk in flip on the inverter and toggle the switch and presto all outlets are powered. The only kicker is remember to turn fridge from Auto to LP because it complains about AC HI. I know its not the cleanest inverter but it will handle charging cell phones, laptop, run my old school 13" TV, A/D TV tuner, VCR or DVD player. So now I can grab the little lamp from the closet (Compact Florescent Bulb) and plug in the bedroom for reading light which is much mellower than the over head lights. Maybe I want to lay in bed with the laptop awhile. I would have to say this project is finished in my book. Working as planned.
