I used to know which CTD oil..... till it all changed changed
You got to remember the owner manual specifies 7.5K miles to oil change anything before that is a waste... CajFlynn was changing every 20K miles I'm not sure what he's changing at now...

Hard start, hot or cold.
Ok... Lift pump is 50% duty cycle during cranking. So 11 PSI sounds about right... But the voltage might be low causing weird things to happen you might load test the batteries and see what happens...

Lucky... Mine looks like pen ink with in about 500-1000 miles... Don't help with RV275 injectors and Edge Comp on 5x5...

Finally... The first real snow storm of the year...
I should grab my scanner out of the other pickup and listen to the chaos here in the canyon... Actually people are good out here. While I was out plowing the yard I seen traffic driving slowly (25-35 MPH) roughly being cautious. But now see the logging truck they are just flat humping tail to get to the mill. They get paid by the load and the local cops know they speed to make the money. But other than then our weather now shifted to the rain now... It 37*F as of right now and raining... Tranny Issues
Wild and free would know the answers on the bands and such... But as for the gasket I would replace it... Most of the time when you buy a filter it comes with gaskets...

oil out the dipstick??
Your going to end up pulling the head for sure... Mosty likely got a melted piston... 100 PSI is just way too low... Not to mention the other 5 being 300 PSI is rather low too. So You going to need to open it up and see what damages you got... No other need for any other test you just need to pop that head off.

Water Pressure
Not sure... Once again from all I can give is hear-say about this... I've got no experience of this yet... Like MnTom from over at www.dieseltrucksite.com had a freeze plug blow out of his truck while pulling his travel trailer up a grade. Here is a Opie Coolant Bypass mod for that reason... http://www.cumminsforum.com/forum/3rd-gen-performance-parts-discussion/95455-opie-bypass-kit-install-pics.html But how, what and why... I'm not sure...

Tranny Issues
Fluid change might be a good idea being the fluid is most likely burnt and the filter is plugged up. When you do the fluid change you need to do the band adjustment too. Might be a loose band causing the slip.

Tranny not responding!
Ok... As for the signature that's easy... Just go up top and hit the User Control Panel -> Edit Signature... Normally there is a 20 post restriction on the download area so I upgraded you access so you can access the 03 Factory Service Manual for you truck... http://forum.mopar1973man.com/downloads.php?do=file&id=189 I'm pretty sure there is another tranny controller but this book should help a bunch.

DEAD Batteries
If the truck is going to be sitting you might consider pulling the IOD (Ignition Off Draw). There is a special clip to hold the fuse for you but it will pull out enough to disconnect the accessories...

Actually its a 5 foot wide plow blade... Not bad...Control the up and down with a electric winch and the angle you need to hop off and unlock and swing the blade. Left to right 45*, 30*, 0, 30*, or 45*... Old vid but funny... http-~~-//www.youtube.com/watch?v=lQRpzvSgQcY

DVD-RW just died...
I got to admit your right... The only bonus I had was I could buy at wholesale price and just had to pay sale tax next year. Or go to Staples and get it there and there is no taxes (Oregon is tax free) but they are high in price... So you got me sold I'm going to be ordering from tigerdirect.. Thanks guys...

Water Pressure
I've heard the same thing that sometimes the cummins water pump has been known to blow freeze plugs out...As for what causes it, why or how... I'm not sure...

Going for a full build!
I'm still holding to my guns... That it sounds like a ground problem...Take notice both HVAC controls and Instrument cluster are on the same ground...

Bad accident...
Let put it this way I've gotten pretty squirrelly with just the truck in 2WD and using the exhaust brake on snow packed roads... Most people stay away from me after that...Also I rarely run 4WD on snow... I've never run chains yet...

Finally... The first real snow storm of the year...
Here is the plan for the morning... I got to dig my way down to the other house to get my ATV out to ride over next door to barrow the neighbors ATV and plow his yard then then mine... Daylight is here but the the visablity is moderate to low right now maybe 1 mile. Last night the power flickers and tripped all the yard floods on so I had to dig my way down to the guest house and shut off the breaker in the panel last night. That' sucks when you in flip flops and shorts at 10pm at night...:duh:Not to mention I got to careful push the snow off the RV too...I'll see about getting out the video camera later...

Bio Diesel Fuel 2010 Ram 3500
Well both Cummins and Dodge don't suggest anything above 20% because of the water problem with Bio. I remember seeing a document about if your to use fuels above this you needed to upgrade you fuel seperator to handle it better. In any case I would upgrade the fuel filter to a 2-3 micron. Common rails don't like dirty fuel at all...

2 cycle oil
When the did the testing of each product is was mix as specified by the instruction for each product. Since 2 cycle oil was a home brew they pick 200:1 to be a safe number.

Is a hx40 big enough for 80 to 100 hp injectors????
Good question... Because if you think about it I'm running my Edge Comp on 5x5 (120 HP) and running RV275 Injectors (40 HP) and all I got is 3" straight pipe exhaust, BHAF, and HX35 (stock) turbo. I will admit 100 HP injectors will flow a lot of fuel so it all based on what you plan on doing...

DVD-RW just died...
I shouldn't complain I bought this last Phillips back in 2007 and it finally died in 2012... I think what keep them from dying fast is I burn at the slowest speed possible. Very, very rare to fail a disc. Yeah I was surfing tigerdirect last night and was droolin' all over the keyboard then Mopar Mom spoke up and said since we are snowed in you might as well get that stuff order and get the computer fixed... (More about the snow in my other thread)
