Hot Run Issue?
Couple of things come to mind air leak in the low pressure side of the fuel system and fuel is draining back to the tank.Fuel pressure problems just because you got a AirDog doesn't mean the upper end fuel pressure is still good I've seen plenty of videos watch pressure go from 19 at idle to 0 at WOT.I would go back and do the basic test with error codes nad testing both idle and WOT pressures. Yeah you might end up building test gauge.

DVD-RW just died...
Since I still hold a account with my computer part vendor down in Boise, ID for computer parts and I still got my Tax ID number why not I can buy it at wholesale and just pay the taxes later... So that what I'm up to tommorow I got to order a new hard drive to replace my blown back up drive which is currently ponied up on my storage drive. Also order the DVD-RW so I can burn backup... Here is a snoop of the vendor I've got... http://www.computercentral.com/store/ I'll take a look at TigerDirect... --- Update to the previous post... Well I might actual go with TigerDirect prices seem much lower than shopping with my old vendor...

Bad accident...
:lmao2:I'm just like you now ISX... I just kick back and cruise with the cruise control set. The only time I get a bit concerned is when I can no longer see the hood of the car behind me then he gets a warning (blink of the backup lights) still there you get a cloud from the exhaust. By then most have giving up and backed off or gotten pissed and hauled on around. But its funny now hitch up my 31' Jayco and people are nice, don't tailgate, and are understandable about be traveling slower towing a trailer than traveling slower empty. Goes back to ISX race theory... But back in the days of fire fighting we all knew we were not limited by the speed laws and could exceed them for emergency calls. But after seeing several videos and safety classes about high speed driving and safety it was shocking how many accidents happen envolving emergency vehicles fire, ambulance, and even police. At that point the laws kick in hard and heavy on you. Well knowing this when driving I ask myself if a deer pop out on the road around the corner could I stop or avoid him without causing a accident? Or what happen if I came around the corner and Grandma is pulling out on the highway could I avoid a accident? The key factor comes back every time is speed. If your driving slower you can react to conditions easier because there is more time. So now after researching the speed laws in Idaho there is no minimum speed limit and you allowed to travel as slow as you wish as long as you yield to traffic behind you if there is more than 3 vehicles. Now this is with in reason of weather, road conditions, vehicle condition, etc. But the law does state if your traveling to fast and loose control of your vehicle you will be sited with a heavy fine regardless of you lost control at speeds below speed limit. So going back to the deer thought say he did pop out on the road and the speed limit is 65 MPH and your traveling 55 MPH and you swerve to miss him and end up in the ditch stuck and with vehicle damage. You will be sited for excessive speed for road conditions.Just more to think about...

Bad accident...
Better yet... A pair of 100w bulbs looking back at you. A flip of a switch and they usually back off. I'm more and more becoming a 55 MPH person now. There is no where I can't go and get there in the roughly same amount of time as 65 MPH. So like going to Boise, ID I would leave about 30-45 minutes earlier and get there on time. I never forget get my butt chewed on by another diesel truck owner asking me why I was driving so slow. I just asked him what his MPG was and he replied with 14-16 MPG. All I could do is laugh and reply with 22 MPG and pulled my ScanGauge II out and showed him. He just turned away and shut up.

Smarty Programmer
The only thing you'll get is high idle... The ABS/Speedo will be lost on return to stock (At least what I've been told). Owner [*]Return his/her vehicle to stock. [*]Unplug as usual. You [*]Hook up the smarty and run a program. [*]Take a ride around the block. [*]Hook up again return to stock. Owner [*]Hook up and return to previous programming. VIN lock is only in effect as long as a program is in use in a vehicle. Smarty is unlocked when the vehicle is returned to stock.

Smarty Programmer
Smarty will work... Just have the owner return to stock. Then you can use it on your truck take a ride enjoy some power. Then return to stock... Then he'll be able to use it again on his vehicle again...The VIN lock function is to prevent 1 owner programming a bunch of vehicles with one tuner.

Hard Start
Call around first and see which way you want to test them either going to a Dodge Dealer and having a leak down test done or by pulling and having them bench tested. As for removal there are nearly the same as the 24V but you got 2 wire on top and near to carefully pry them up out of the holes (no bolt hole for pulling like 24v - Sorry!) There is actually a special tool to remove them but I've heard of people carefully prying them up and out...Dumb question? Do you have any error codes? Hows the fuel pressure too?

Finally... The first real snow storm of the year...
From NOAA... http://forecast.weather.gov/showsigwx.php?warnzone=IDZ011&warncounty=IDC003&firewxzone=IDZ401&local_place1=18+Miles+NNW+Brundage+Mountain+ID&product1=Winter+Storm+Warning I'm all set I've got plenty of food... Generator is all wired in and fueled up... Got internet and the web site to work on... Let it blow...

White smoke under acceleration until warm
Still check for codes with a OBDII reader...

Hard Start
Injectors are most likely failing (really common)... Time to have them tested... What happens is the injectors start to hang open and bleed and loose rail pressure during starting making it difficult. While this is occuring the injector is spraying down the cylinder walls with diesel fuel all the time. Why you alway see CR engines being rebuilt at 200K miles... Like I said have those injectors tested... If only a few are leaking replace them all... Because the others will be right behind them. You not going to be happy with the cost of replacement either...

Bad accident...
Last night i got a call from a friend down the road from me asking if I would look into the error codes in a vehicle for him. So We wrote them down and I reset the codes and took a ride in the car to see if the codes return. He got on the throttle and had that little car singin' at 85 MPH and he turned to me and said I got to back out of it because of deer I seen earlier. Well wasn't much more than 1/4 mile later we saw a little car pull off the side of the road with the front end crushed. Drove on slowly and sure enough a animal had be hit. Just a little bit farther and a mess load of sheriff and ambulance was working with another car. Needless to say what happen was a elk had started across the road and the first car that we seen clip him spun him into the on coming car and the elk with through the windshield severely injuring the driver and passenger of the other car. I beg of you please slow down there is absolutely no reason to drive 65, 75, or even 85 MPH anywhere. It really sad to see please get injured or the vehicles damaged because there are "Just driving the speed limit". We like these people found out speed limit doesn't mean it safe all the time and anything can step out in front of you in the dark.Yes... I chewed my buddies arse for the speed too. :spank:I pray you heed my message...

Finally... The first real snow storm of the year...

Not good
What are you whining about... Geez... Heck I would have to swap the spare on and drive 30 miles to get flat fixed... Plus pay for it.

VP44 Write Up - Minimum pressure suggested...
Not typically no... Usually you have to crank the engine to pump fuel from the high pressure side.

Anyone heard of...
Don't have much problems with the zombies... It the wildlife out here you got to worry about... This big wolf was shot in New Meadows, ID... So it would be nice to add the fire piston too my search and rescue bags for my ATV... Just in case I spend the night... But I typically carry a 9mm with me in the woods for the wildlife...

Don't have too be... In other words you would specify every tues night at 8pm to 10pm would be chat night. Then you would adverise the chat possibly put in the calender too. But don't have to be 24/7... Not even I will commit to that much...
