  1. Being I don't have any autos to play with typically I've never knew. Thanks @AH64ID
  2. Not too hijack... I had to do something about the size of files and the amount each member could upload. So all paying members get 100 MB worth of storage. Just figure that 10,000 members getting 100 MB a piece to use as they wish. Do the math. I would need to provide 1 TB worth of space even for 10,000 members at 100 MB of storage apiece. I've only got a 140 GB hard drive on the server and we are currently at 79 GB. This is only costing roughly $1,400 a year just the server. If I need to upgrade to a bigger hard drive of course the price goes up. If you wanna discuss this further give me a PM and we'll work it out. Carry on...
  3. Just watching Newsmax this morning and I'm hearing that Biden gave the the rich a massive tax cut. Then Biden is planning on shutting down another oil pipeline. This is going to drive up the price of fuel even higher. https://www.newsmax.com/newsmax-tv/rick-perry-oil-natural-gas-liberals/2021/11/09/id/1043992/
  4. Valve guides too. If the valve guide wear a bit and the valve is rocking in the guide then the seal could be wiped out from it. Sad to say synthetic oils do not promise no wear or seal failures. Kind of like my transmission, its had synthetic oils (Mopar, Valvoline and Mobil) its entire life still manged to eat the hard face out of gears and break teeth off. I'm at 436k miles now...
  5. With the price of fuel out here I'm now dropping back below 65 MPH and heading to 55 MPH when the traffic is light enough to do it. Just remember Biden shut down the one pipeline so he getting ready to shut down the second one soon be ready for 5 dollar a gallon for fuel really soon here. Just all the green new deal. Get every one away from fuel. So what about gear oil for axles on electric cars? How about grease for steering components? You will never be able to shut down oil completely. Just will never happen.
  6. I do remember that all the shift problems you had with your transmission after Jon went back and rebuilt the valve body and a bunch of problems disappeared.
  7. Again here we come back around full circle again time for CP4 to use "2 cycle oil" to keep them from damage. Remember EU requires 460 HFRR or less. US is 520 HFRR or less. Key point is Bosch has required 460 HFRR or less since the Ultra low sulfur diesel came out it only the US that refuses to meet the requirement.
  8. Still in all it not a good system. Why is everyone paying to price for fuel, food, parts, services, etc? Because bad choices by Biden. Just like shutting down the pipeline. Shutting down building the wall. Then letting illegal aliens in the US. Then Biden is going to give 450k per illegal alien family. Really where is my hand out?
  9. Personally the Democrats are just creating laws more fitting for themselves. Just look at the Vax mandates and how companies are firing people left and right. So who is going to fill these shoes? Police force, airlines, govt positions, etc.
  10. Not an excuse but bad timing. I know you guys will be going next spring for your next trip.
  11. Yup. I see the same thing near any larger cities. But back near home things are more controlled vs near cities. One few reason I prefer to be home than out and about traveling near cities for any reason. Just like up around McCall / Donnelly area is nuts. Everyone is in hurry for something driving excessively fast and driving reckless.
  12. You can order all the parts from Jon as a kit and have the local shop install all the parts.
  13. 3 weeks?! To rebuild your tranny Wow! Even my NV4500 was only 1 week with ordering parts and Jason working on the weekends.
  14. That's the crazy part I've seen big name transmission shops make a mess out of just a simple rebuild. It happens. There are members that have had stalling issues from poor or too tight of torque converter, bad valve bodies, etc.
  15. You mention the key right there "oversized tires"... I've never ran oversized tires hence I've never had death wobble on any of my personal vehicles. This comes from the amount of rotational mass and then thing get out of balance just a little and then the axle start to wobble and jump. Just need the right kind of bump in the road to get death wobble started. Don't get me wrong I've driven plenty of customer trucks and felt the death wobble experience. The easy way to get of the death wobble is go right back to stock sized tires (31 inch) and the problem is gone. There are other factors like you pointed out like shocks, steering damper, good tire balance (zero if possible), good front springs, and the front axle isn't over loaded with a heavy winch bumper. The biggest thing is to understand the front end geometry and build the front axle up properly. Most don't so death wobble is rather easily found later.
  16. Ummm... In 436k miles I've never had death wobble. Still all factory OE design front end.
  17. Should hold 100% across the cruise range without any rise.
  18. Canbus should not be ramp from the defensive zone to max. Not a efficient fuel map either. You should have zone of 100% fuel where you normal cruise. This way your not just in a power fuel mode all the time.
  19. EGTs of different modes. 6 CYL high idle 300 to 350 3 CYL high idle 600 6 CYL high idle and exhaust brake 650 3 CYL high idle and exhaust brake 900
  20. Man what a crappy design for a Ford. More plastic parts and poorly designed setup. I had a job from an old lady she had no ignition key control because the pin in the plastic rod fell out. The part was cheap at $16 dollars but installing was not fun. That rod in my fingers goes inside that square hole.
  21. Any part store carries the replacement oil cap. I've got a start oil cap and it does not have the ratchet cap.
  22. Timbo APPS is the best solution for apps sensor.
  23. I'm set for 30 second delay and set for 140F warm up temp. Come winter time I disable the Quadzilla and go back to my own high idle system because 3 CYL and an exhaust brake is even faster.
  24. Yeah I get it. When you get caught up let us know.
