65mph and shaking
Just take the lead brick out of your boot and use common sense when throttling. Keep an eye on your trans temps and once again use common sense.

clean truck 12v
I hate to say it but they use a lot of salt and mag-cloride out here too... The funny part is the body and under side of my truck is A1 perfect yet... Why? Because even in the winter time I wash the truck and I don't just wash the paint. I wash the underside out with plenty of clear water. I wash out all the road mud and dirt...But like I've been taugh... When you go buy a vehicle bring your overalls and lay on your back and look up. The interior and under the hood will look good but lay on your back and look up... Whole new story...

65mph and shaking
The only time I seen a huge problem with keeping tire balanced is the larger tire like 265's and above. even my Cooper 265's have huge amount of lead on them just to keep them true. There is better than 1-2 oz on each rim. But my 235's I'm still running I've got 3 rims completely true without and lead! Also they are just cheap Big O AT's tires... I would love to see your results and findings...

Giving new life to my impact wrench
There is nothing near me... Really... Napa is 52 miles 1 way... Nearest Home Depot is ~180 miles 1 way... Closest town to me with a population of about 300 people has a gas station, post office, grocery store, and 3 bars... Even Harbor Frieght is the same distance as HomeDepot... Everything is in Boise, ID... Just to give you a feel... Watch the vids... http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=VPV0cnu7kdc and

As far as I understand the 4WD can be adjusted for caster and toe... The only way I know to change camber is to buy offset upper ball joints...

Giving new life to my impact wrench
:banghead:I should really do this with all my air tools... It a good idea and I should of paid more attention to detail in the early years and I wouldn't be trapped with the restrictive air fittings today...

Help with high idle box
Ok... First off I let you know that Prowelder has his own group listed here... http://forum.mopar1973man.com/group.php?groupid=6 As for your problems... It sounds like you got a few things hooked up wrong... Take the plug on the ECM side of both the coolant and the intake air temp leads and then take a digital voltmeter and measure the ohms on the ECM plug. Then toggle the switch the line should go open (inifinite ohms). ECT lead should show at the ECM 3.3K ohms and open. IAT lead should show at the ECM 39K ohm or 56K ohms and open. Then change up your diagnostics... Take both ends sensor and ECM ends and probe both pins one on each side. On the OPEN position of the switch in the previous test both ends should be a direct short or 0 Ohms. Check to see if you got the plug end on the right leads...

For CajFlynn about Scangauge II
Ummm... Be my guest... I all I did was get lucky on my mounting... Behind the bezel is a signal screw for the pouch below and basically bent a L bracket and drilled a hole. My problem was my hole was a bit off and required tweaking to get the SG to sit tight. You don't want to see the other side of that braket... It a road sign still with its reflective markings...

comp ?'s
That's weird... way back when I bought mine I had a few problems software wise but in the mean time I had a conversation with on of the tech long ago. What he told me was on the Edge Comp if you unhook the tap wire it reverts to level 1. So no matter what level you set it to it was still level 1. The sub level continued to work the same though.1. 402. 603. 804. 1005. 120So untapped accord to what i was told would be 40 HP. But I look at it this way... This is all second hand information and nothing in writing from Edge Products so I'm willing to admit maybe my information could be wrong... :shrug:What I can tell you without thinking... Is the best MPG's are found on 5x5 and WITH the wire tap. It all up to you and your foot..I just pulled a beautiful 23.6 MPG today...

Starter Contacts
Well... My starter is not hitting all the time anymore and I know the starter contacts are to blame. So I guess its time to make a order to LarryB and get a rebuild kit for the old starter... I'm going to pull the starter out tomorrow morning and pull it apart to inspect everything so while I'm at it I'm going to have the cameras handy and make a write up of it...

Gasser vs. Diesel
There is a lot of variables in concerns to which is cheaper... That why you don't see gasoline power semi on the roads... But when you look at the life span of gasser vs diesel and then weigh in the fact yes the parts are more expensive on a diesel it all reality the diesel cost about the same maintenance wise.So it comes back to a personal peference of buy a diesel for your own reasons...

Removing tailgate handle?
Valid point...

Gasser vs. Diesel
:banghead: Oh Chit... Man that will be hot as hell... I didn't see that on the first pass... Ummm.. what are you planning on doning? 150 HP injectors with a untapped 120 HP Edge Comp?

Removing tailgate handle?

Oil Pressure Guage
Just use Polyon Air Line that stuff never breaks...
-
Removing tailgate handle?
Shoot... I got a cheap fix for that... Just put a hose clamp around the pivot that has the slot in it. Then no one can lift the tailgate off without a screwdriver... (Poorman's protection)
