  1. That's the funny part of Boise "The City Of Trees" how can that be???
  2. SGII (ScanGauge II) can would with any programmer or enhancement box. Not a problem. It will show you live data from all the engine sensors that the ECM has. Sorry to say no it doesn't do Pyrometer or Fuel pressure because these sensor are not present on the ECM. It does the MAP Sensor but the 98.5 to 02 has a voltage off set that skews the valve and makes it unusable. Now if you calibrate your SGII for fuel mileage it a great tool for getting the MPG's up more. Basically drive by number. If you want 21 MPG just keep the MPG display above it as much as possible. As for the speedometer I trust the speedometer and odometer on my SGII more so than the stock gauge because the stock gauge is off exactly 0.5 MPH and that gives about 25-30 miles difference at the end of a tank. So the MPG number is closer to correct on the SGII than hand calc for me... As for the XGuage function they are still getting code written for vehicles. As for Code reading it does have a extra feature with Freeze frame data. In other words you know exactly what the engine was doing at the time of the error code tripped.
  3. If you got the ECM plugged into the MAP sensor and the code is coming back without the Edge Comp plugged in then the sensor is bad. But if the code is coming while the Edge Comp is hooked up the the boost fooler is bad in the Edge Comp and would have to be repaired by Edge Products... As for the P1688 and P0251 codes are rarther serious codes and shouldn't be taken lightly. I would keep a close eye on the error codes and the fuel pressure for awhile...
  4. The brake on off loading remember that the hydraulics of the power steering pump load down the engine... So between power steering pump, alternator, thick ATF in the TQ Conv. I would say that it possibly the cause of the issue...

  11. Like myself since propane is a common fuel out here in Idaho I've been looking at this for a long time but for the exact reason you mention is the flamable mixture in the intercooler and turbo is what bugs me. Also the math of with and without propane seem a bit skewed but typical. Now like the tidbit article you post mention a 30 gallon propane tank? So much propane do you need really? How much propane do you consume over a tank a fuel?
  12. The first two pics look like your in the jungle somewhere... The second two pics looks like a swap cross Idaho forest... Interesting to say the least... May I ask where your at when you shot these pics?
  13. Cummins supplies the new sensor for less... Question though do you have any kind of add on module (Edge Juice or simular)? Here is more information on the code... http://forum.mopar1973man.com/showthread.php/2571-P0237-Map-Sensor-Voltage-Too-Low

  19. The batteries I just bought where $2,800 bucks for the system. This included freight and disposal of the old batteries. These are Trojan lead acid batteries and will have a life of about 12-14 years. http://www.trojanbattery.com/Products/L16RE-B6V.aspx http://www.trojanbattery.com/Products/RenewableEnergy.aspx Typical battery maintenance... http://www.trojanbattery.com/BatteryMaintenance/Charging.aspx
  20. That's how I got the brush cover off the back of the starter. I had to dig out my #2 phillips and put it on my impact gun to rattle them out. As for the grimmy mess that is from #5 and #6 injectors bleeding on the manifold I found out...
