  1. That's cool... I love the idea... At least its very creative idea... > B)
  2. LOL I didn't know that the driver side had a mirror? At least mine doesn't... As for the monitor couldn't you use velcro and just velocro the montior to the visor??? (Crazy idea)
  3. Sorry I know I don't... You might try a wrecking yard.
  4. So the stock sender connection was the air leak for sure??? Where the Raptor ties to the stock fuel pickup?
  5. I don't make them or sell them I just provide the infromation so you can buy them... :thumbsup
  6. Another idea is to pressureize the fuel tank with about 1-2 PSI and see if the fitting leak at all...
  7. There were a few updates to the engine 5.9L and 5.2L with there own problems too..
  8. Or do my crankcase vent mod and be done with it... B) http://mopar.mopar1973man.com/personal/2002/crankcase-vent/crankcase-vent.htm
  9. It can only see what the ECM/PCM monitor... As for boost reading on the 98.5 to 2002 is incorrect and doesn't display properly... But the 03 and up model year Cummins show correcly... The voltage offset in our MAP sensors fouls the reading... But all other sensors work fine... (IAT Temp, Coolant temp, flow rate of fuel (GPH), Engine load, MPG, APPS sensor, MPH, RPM's, Voltage)
  10. Ok... Do you still have stock plumbing between the filter and the VP44? If so call Vulcan and get the big line for between there... As for the wild pressure I would do a lift pump diagnostics. http://mopar.mopar1973man.com/cummins/2ndgen24v/lift-pump-diag/lift-pump-diag.htm While doing the test I would look for flow and air bubbles while the pump is running. If the flow isn't up to snuff or there is air bubbles in the fuel you know to back track and find your air leak.
  11. APPS sensor calibration is here... http://mopar.mopar1973man.com/cummins/2ndgen24v/apps/apps.htm
  12. Well you tried... I've gotten several weird looks and such from other when I'm pouring out a dose of 2 cycle oil on my tailgate... I just keep doing it and so far I'm at 106K miles on the VP44 and I plan on going for the long haul... I hope my VP44 gear puller get used on many other VP44 other than my own... LOL The funny part is these people are the very same people will to dump WVO or WEO/WMO in the fuel tank... :thud So true... It is a marathon... I still got my crosshairs set on 200K miles... Yeap... Well see who's left standing in the pile...
  13. Well it would be rather difficult being that ScanGauge II is calculated flywheel horsepower and Dyno is rear wheel horsepower... There is several factors that vary the results... * Dual rear wheels Vs. Single rear wheels * Oversized tire or Unsized Tires * Tranission differences (Auto, 5 speed, 6 speed) * gear trian differences (3.55 / 4.10) On and on... But here is my results... http://mopar.mopar1973man.com/personal/ ... o/dyno.htm Now I've pulled as high is 423 HP (flywheel) on the scangauge... :wow Maybe that why my stock clutch was slipping (rated for 400 HP @ flywheel)
  14. It always a good idea to CYA (Cover Your Arse) but as for me I've been going on nothing but 2 cycle oil and winterized #2 diesel for 8 years.... 8|
  15. Typical is no more than a 3 PSI drop... So if your idle is 18 PSI then WOT should be 15 PSI...
  16. Loosen up the clamp more and slide it on... Thats all... No magic no fittings...
  17. Hey Dorkweed I seen somewhere your using the cheap Wally world engine oil. I spotted it yesterday while down in Ontario, OR and and it like $8.50 gallon... Wow! that cheap so how is it working for you?I know your doing oil testing?
  18. Wow! That's a long ways with a oil change... :wow Well I'm running right behind you with my Frantz but changing every 10K miles and doing wonderful too... I talk to local guys here with Dodge's and they are changing oil at 3K miles to 4K miles because it gets black... OMG!!! When they hear of my 10K oil change the jaw usually hit the floor... :wow LOL
  19. Pressure sounds low... http://mopar.mopar1973man.com/cummins/2ndgen12v/fuel-pressure/p-fuel-pressure.htm
  20. What's you fuel pressure like?
  21. Well here is a way of doing it... Just ask for a pan gasket and look to see if it matches the size and pattern of the current one...
  22. I've got a bit of information... http://mopar.mopar1973man.com/cummins/2ndgen12v/inc-pump/inc-pump.htm You might talk to ISX as well... ;)
  23. When you removed the pick up assembly there will be a bit of fuel caught up in the cup. (about a pint or so). You'll need to drop the tank or pull the bed off...
  24. Damn that sucks... 8| For good information I would grab the Dodge FSM book and head over to the clutch section and read about the clutch disc and flywheel. There is a lot of good information there... http://mopar.mopar1973man.com/tips/cumm ... /books.htm
