Yes pop test and flow test to see Spray pattern. If you're going through trouble getting them out you're money ahead to get a new set. If you get a new set of rv275 then you can keep your old ones as spear or core for let's say 7x10 or whatever you decide to go with.

Yes it could definitely be injectors, I've experienced surge in past that ended up being between injectors and ac noise.

If you still have a stock vp chances are it's getting wore out and that could be why. You also have 4.10 probably doesn't help much. Filters for remote set up I would say Fleet guard, Donaldson, Baldwin. One water separator one 2 micron filter. Need to figure out what base you'll be using first so you sizes.

Just get a remote filter set up that still uses 2 filters and use factory filter for total of 3 and get mechanical pump Edit @TFaoro what did you get for your remote filter setup, the one you made a bracket for that will outlast the truck

New Issue P0230 - What should I do next?
Fill out your signature so we all know what we're working with. When I did mine I just googled big line kit and combined some ideas. Po of my truck already put a bigger fitting in vp that comes out to 1/2" jic and a draw straw in tank that was cut too short so I modified fuel basket with Vulcan drawstraw 5 kit, it replaces in tank pumps, now I believe it only works if your truck been to dealer when they had a recall and installed new fuel baskets. You can still modify a regular one but I don't know if draw straw 5 kit will work as good, I personally don't see why you couldn't make it work. If you leave in cold climate and want to leave factory filter canister for extra filtration and a heater, then you also need fittings for it to up size to a 1/2. I took mine off and just relying on fass filters. Don't get quick connect fittings, use jic. Returned fuel from vp and back of the head stay same, they T together and return to fuel basket. Jic fittings used are usually for a push on hose, so you really don't need clamps, they can be challenging to push on all the way especially with cheaper hose. http://www.vulcanperformance.com/mobile/ @notlimah where did you get your draw straw 5 from that came with 2 bulkhead fittings Edit. If my fass ever died prematurely I will be putting a mechanical one on.

New Issue P0230 - What should I do next?
If you're still using factory lift pump unless it's a 12valve that has a mechanical one on the block, I recommend going with an aftermarket one. Fass, air dog, or mechanical like fuel boss or something similar. If you had no power to lift pump the truck would still start and run because vp will pull it's own fuel but it's only sufficient enough for idling and not for prolonged periods. I'm using fass 150 titanium and it's been fine past few years but I also only put maybe 10k a year on it. Before I ordered it I called fass and asked a bunch of questions and supposedly they put them through some harsh environments and they claimed they used them on semis and gotten over a million miles worth, but again what wouldn't you say to sell something. 1/2" lines are definitely worth it but need to be done right.

Injectors
I think you nailed it, best I ever got is 21 MPG doing 55-60mph and can repeat any day with that speed and driving stile. But on average I get between 16-18 and half is hwy, if it was all town I'd never see more then 16. I also read as vp wears MPG goes down and usually people see MPG increase when replacing vp.

That's kinda my concern is MPG, I know you mentioned that before, you had best MPG with 50hp. Kinda weird if we can now control so much more why can't we have just as good of MPG with something like 7x12

Injectors
Are you pretty happy with your 75hp injectors, reason I'm asking is I've been thinking about getting a set of 7x12 vco I think they would be a good match for my 62/67/12 hybrid. But at the same time I don't seem to have any problems with the 75hp injectors I'm currently using.

you right, I wasn't able to get more than 37psi of boost with wiretap after I put my new turbo in, so I adjusted boost scale from 40 to 35 I believe and my boos went up to 40 psi. I found boost leaks and then I set scale back to 40 and was able to hit 45 psi. Sorry for confusion.

Try changing your boost scale from 40 to 36-38 and see if you can increase your boost with just canbus, it worked for me.

Service truck and Quadzilla

Dumped on
Cool I'm jealous, I leave for this sh.t. sounds like you got it under control, we're supposed to get some snow here in IA but it's usually a joke. Last good snow we had was in 2010 I believe, and time before that 2008 that's when we had the flood later that year. Stay safe.

I had same question about it myself, and from what I understand it's gonna happen if you need the jump not the other way around. But I suspect that if you're jumping something and your batteries get weak then it can also happen. I have winch that I used a few times and always wondered if quad can burn out if I drained battery's to far. I use high idle if I'm using winch. @Quadzilla Power

HE351 swap
I wanted a hybrid like the one @Mopar1973Man has but by the time I was going to combine parts and pay for them all I ended up having one built for me by http://www.northamericanturbo.com (Zach is who I delt with, nice guy) thanks to @jlbayes for pointing me there. I spent $800 and gave him extra $100 for a core so I kept my old one as a spear. And that way I didn't have to wait as long, heck I talked with him Monday I believe and Thursday I had it, but I'm not that far ether. So long story short I have a 62/67/12 supposed to support up to 500hp, made out of hx35 and hx40 and a turbine out of something else. It's balanced and all but they do use used parts so don't expect it looking like a new one, it's close. Internally it's all new even with a billet extended tip induser that was also new. Now it's definitely laggyer then hx35 but I've gotten used to it now and only running 75hp injectors. With the v2 tuning I got it running pretty well now, but some day I'll get a set of 150-200hp injectors and retune it. Reason I like the 75hp injectors is if quad craps out for whatever reason, I'll still be very drivable. Now if you can get parts for next to nothing and piece a hybrid together yourself, probably a good deal too, I just didn't have time to wait. Good luck with your choice.

Remember to get new orings for injectors and crossover tubes and copper washers for injectors. Not sure if they all come with them or not. I know the crossover tube ones you have to order separate.

Qaudzilla questions
I don't drive my truck often enough so I shut the phone off after each use and power on when ready to leave, otherwise it would be dead, and I don't want to leave it plugged in to drain batteries. May not be a lot of draw but still. I got a used s7 for a 100 bucks works well and I think it's better then previous s5 I had in terms of app freezing up, but I did more then one thing at time like new app and flash etc so I can't say for sure. Mine is mounted on pillar where pulse monitor used to be. I like that spot as its in my site and I don't have to look at dash or down someplace.

If that's truly your plan then I would say brand new rv275. I would not go any bigger then 60hp without a tuner. If I were you I'd use rv275 and move on.

99 Cummins - new to me pickup - that has issues
I'm sorry I can't answer it, usually if I don't reply, I simply don't know or busy with life. I can't speak for others but have a feeling it's about same. Someone will probably answer your questions but it's not always on time as I found myself. We do all try though. I understand the urgency we all have at times. Just wanted to reply to let you know more then likely we are all looking at threads just need to wait for the right person. I'm pretty dumb when it comes to electronics and some days wish I had a 12 valve that was built.

Finally install airbags.
To be honest I used it about dozen times in past 3 years, but every time it was well worth having it. Few times to air up bags, few people I knew had low air in tires, tractor in field with a flat I helped out with. And once had a low tire when getting firewood found a screw in it, pulled it out used one of them worms and was i glad to have air. I thought about just getting one in a carry bag but decided to mount one permanently. I would think it will last a long time the way I use it. I did by a relay with a shutout switch built in viair offers so if you leave switch on after it reaches certain psi it will shut off. Hope it helps.

Finally install airbags.
I put a viair compressor under the truck where my spair tire used to be and plumbed it in my rear bumper as air tank. Just never got to making it completely push button for bags to go up and down still use a hose to do it. But as often as I need it I don't mind.
