  2. We're talking about abusing the truck with bigger tires lol and what can be done to make it half a.. decent, he has 4:10 and doubt he wants to swap gears as he needs money for quad, turbo, injectors, etc. But yes no argument at all with best MPG and longevity of the truck is to use pizza cutters, some of us are still yong and dumb and want to play and pay I don't know much about it sorry
  3. I actually thought at one time to get a used pc with Windows 7 just or this reason lol.
  4. Steering box if yours wears out get an aftermarket one, steering box brace, 4th gen tierods if they fit on 2000 I know they do on 01-02. That's kinda basics, there is really so much you can do to our trucks set up, unless you go and swap in a whole other front end under it. Dodge finally got smarter after few years lol, newer ones are as tough as ford's been for a while now. All this is my opinion not a fact lol.
  5. Probably not much more, maybe a little .5 mpg come out 34.6" close to 35s, I don't think 35s are truly that anyway. Be a good match for 4:10 just more stress on front end. Beef it up some as things wear. I didn't have my truck lifted when I put 35s, they did rub on control arms.
  6. You would gain 1" (tall) if you went to 17s. 16=32.83 17=33.83 Anything bigger will ruin front end much quicker imo. Even using 285/70/17 that I have now is not easy on front end but I just can't get pass how retarded truck looks on smaller tires. I wish dodge didn't dictate to Dana what they wanted, they did fine without them, Dana 60 front used to be considered a tough front end especially on ford's then dodge stepped in I did have 35s on my 12valve with 4:10s and I liked it. But didn't keep it long enough to tell you anything more.
  7. I got tired of messing with my Boost elbow to get it just right so I just put a plug in place, and I'm now relying on defuel settings of Quadzilla. I was able to hit 45 or so psi with my stock hx35, which is not good for it, anything over 35psi, that was with 60 HP injectors. Make sure you have no boost leaks also I had few small ones didn't think it mattered but after putting new boots on my Boost is more responsive and higher. Also get a bhaf instead of using Factory filter
  8. You can have great MPG with 600hp truck. It's all on how you'll drive it and aerodynamics ( lifted trucks with big tires are no good for MPG ), and big tires themselves are not good unless you're off-roading. I'm using 285 70 17 because I like the way it looks and I know I'm sacrificing at least 2 mpg doing so. I used to think truck toppers were ***, but now I love it, everything stays dry and out of the weather inside and I believe I gained about 1 MPG by putting it on. I used a couple of canoe hoists in the garage and bolted 4 boat tie-downs to the topper one on each corner, I can take topper off by myself in about 10 minutes. luckily people still think Toppers are *** because you can get them for next to nothing, I got mine for nothing just had to spend few bucks on paint. My topper is actually off a Chevy 80s era. Edit. You do have 4:10s so running bigger tires would be okay for you and still retain your MPG, I wouldn't go more than 285/75/17 personally, assuming you're using 17s @Tractorman you're my hero
  9. Iat and ect take care of grids and 3/6 high idle. In summer grids only cycle for few seconds if you fool iat alone in winter it will only cycle few seconds also. Battery sensor is for volt regulator in pcm, colder it is more it charges.
  10. That's why I like Mikes high idle switch, I always leave it on MPG mode theta way grids only cycle little bit and if it's cold out I turn it off and it's back to factory. I used a resistor with a relay for few years to do same thing but wanted something more simple and clean, it's very well made and I like it. But certainly if you leave in wormer climate disconnecting grids all together is the way to go.
  11. You don't have to unhook it just run it on level 3, which is canbus only. You'll be fine with 75hp injectors and hx35 and still can get good economy and power when needed. Dripley means if you get bigger injectors you can have both depending on how you use your right foot, tuning will be part of it too.
  12. I would do 1/2 all around and quadzilla adrenaline with v2 tuning
  13. @Marcus2000monster if I was going to spend money on a tuner few years back I would get an edge. I bought my quad about 7-8 years ago I think and chose it over edge because of more power and the whole hot unlock, I didn't like how they wanted more money for that, made them look bad in my mind. So fast forward I'm now glad I went with qwadzila Adrinalin because my man Nick took the time to make it what it is today . Long story short if you're going to spend money get an adrenaline and if you catch yourself trying to wiretap it slap yourself until you get the right mods.
  14. No windshield doesn't have to come out, it's actually pretty easy to get her apart once you figured it out. I used fiberglass on back side of my Dash, seems to be holding up but it stunk for a few weeks lol. My next step is some leather like material on top of it to keep it all together. I really love Dash on my 2000 Accord, it's that cheap vinyl but it seems to be holding up really well. Edit: don't try this at home just kidding
  15. Here is an idea, I know you're not going to drive a car, how about a suburban with a 4bt in it. Or even drop one in your 96. I've always wanted a suburban with a 4bt just as a grocery getter But for more efficiency it should be something smaller but yet safe and comfortable.
  16. I really haven't watched TV at all in about a decade now, just bunch of garbage. I usually go online and see what I need when I need it.
  17. And that's all I've ever used is Dorman I believe, are you just doing new pin and bushings
  18. Same here I'm in mercy of fass, when I got my truck factory filter was already bypassed and po said original owner did it when he replaced vp who knows when, so I deleted it all together. At one point I thought about putting it back in but I like the extra room there too, plus I cut the bracket off that holds the housing to block so I'd have to weld it back.
  19. No I don't, bought my truck with it and k&n filter, got rid of filter and kept the elbow and bhaf fits fine on it.
  20. That's why I have a separate cheap phone just for the truck, not saying that that is a solution, I suppose not everyone want to buy all these extra devices, or maybe it can be made more clear when purchasing quad, that works best with a dedicated device with airplane mode turned on and no other devices linked.
  21. So if options match but vins don't it will still work fine?
  22. One word, HYDROGEN Always wanted to make my car run on it lol, even made a small cell and produced enough to aid in MPG on my little sentra I had. Went from almost 40 on hwy to 42-43
  23. So I got a question, let's say I have an early 02 6spd 4x4, and pcm is from an 01 6spd 4x4 different vin, will they swap around? And same for ecm?
  24. Sorry I'm not that bright, that means it just won't respond to what I set it to in the 2.7 quadzilla only app, it will just ignore it since it's not enabled, so even if I set it to 50 it will change nothing as its not part of new code. I think that's what you're saying. Don't let me keep talking, already feel stupid. I'm not messing with you, just want to be sure, I'll take it as yes Edit. Just reread it few times and yeah I'm not that bright you already answered my question twice but I'm not a code writer ether, it takes me a little bit. All good now moving on. Awaiting v3
