Quadzilla V2 Custom Tunes
Ok the amswer is no, I went to previous vehicle I had selected and deleted all tunes and then went back to v2betta and everything was still there, and yes I couldn't create a tune that had a same name on different vehicle selection

Killer dowel pin and type of blocks
I heard people say they almost lost one at 80k and some say 300k +, you never know. best thing is to open it up and look, like mentioned above its rare on VP44 blocks but it is a posibility especially on early models. I did one on 12 valve that had 250k and it was half way out, but that's not the only thing that falls out, all of the front timing cover bolts were lose too, I took out the ones I could put some lock tite on them and other ones just snuged back down. also might as well change front seal and power wash radiator and cooler and do a vent mod.

I know this aint mcdonalds but I'm loving it. Ok I just tried this tune below for MPG and truck seems ok with it, no hase at all on take off, accelerates ok given these parameters, reason I didn't put anything for Pump Low Boost Limit: and Pump Low Boost Scale % and TPS Pump Min:25 is I don't want wire tap at all for my mpg tune. Plus I leave it on levl 3 just to be sure. Truck is empty with topper on going about 55-60 and now i lowered PSI% down quiet a bit and it's not that much different other than can bus is a tad lower. I was switching between my DD tune and MPG tune just to see the difference at steady speed and it didn't seem to change much other then egts a little and canbus fuel in data logging was higher with DD tune. So not sure where I'm heading yet but truck is definitely smoke free and smooth. I might reduce timing a little just because I'm using less fuel. How does Timing Limit work VS Cruise Timing Advance? Fuel Load timing: 2 Low PSI Timing Reduct: 3 Timing Reduct Scaling: 100 Light Throttle Timing Adv:2 Light Throttle Timing Load Limit: 30 Timing vs rpm 1500: 16 2000: 18 2500: 23 3000: 25 Timing Max: 26 Pump Stretch:1200 TPS Pump max:100 TPS Pump Min:25 Minimum Pump Tap Fueling Percentage:0 Pump Low Boost Scale PSI: 5 Boost Scaling:40 RPM Limit:3200 Power Reduction:10 0 PSI %:90 1 PSI %:91 2 PSI %:92 3 PSI %:93 4 PSI %:94 5 PSI %:95 6 PSI %:97 7 PSI %:98 8 PSI %:99 9 PSI %:100 10 PSI %:101 11 PSI %:103 12 PSI %:104 13 PSI %:105 14 PSI %:106 15 PSI %:108 16 PSI %:109 18 PSI %:112 20 PSI %:114 22 PSI %:117 24 PSI %:120 26 PSI %:123 28 PSI %:126 30 PSI %:129 Just noticed there is no 17PSI%

I haven't had any issues like you describe, could it be software or an app problem. Maybe try to reload everything.

I figured it wouldn't be a simple answer, even though it sounds simple enough. Driving right now on my custom MPG tune, My EGT is around 550 and boost around 3, liometer is above 30, hoping to see decent numbers. I don't believe I've ever seen my EGT this slow cruising at 55 60

I thought somewhere Nick has mentioned that anything above 130is isn't doing much. Did you just rounded it off to closest number?

Thank you Nick I had a felling something was a bit off. I realize that this is all new and it takes time to get it where it needs to be. Would you guys think this be a good tune for MPG with 60hp injectors Fuel Load timing: 2 Low PSI Timing Reduct: 3 Timing Reduct Scaling: 100 Light Throttle Timing Adv:2 Light Throttle Timing Load Limit: 30 Timing vs rpm 1500: 16 2000: 18 2500: 23 3000: 25 Timing Max: 26 Pump Stretch:1200 TPS Pump max:100 TPS Pump Min:25 Minimum Pump Tap Fueling Percentage:0 Pump Low Boost Scale PSI: 5 Boost Scaling:40 RPM Limit:3200 Power Reduction: 0 PSI %:96 1 PSI %:96 2 PSI %:97 3 PSI %:98 4 PSI %:99 5 PSI %:100 6 PSI %:101 7 PSI %:102 8 PSI %:104 9 PSI %:106 10 PSI %:108 11 PSI %:110 12 PSI %:112 13 PSI %:114 14 PSI %:116 15 PSI %:118 16 PSI %:120 17 PSI %:122 18 PSI %:124 20 PSI %:126 22 PSI %:128 24 PSI %:130 26 PSI %:130 28 PSI %:130 30 PSI %:130

"If it is set to 0% then you get no wiretap until your low limit psi is reached." Low limit PSI = TPS Pump Minimum? I think I got it and no I'm not messing with you , too much going on at once trying to concentrate on something complex isn't easy. I've read and reread this Quadzilla Custom tuning In depth but noticed that names and terms used are slightly different and it's making me second guess myself, like under Wiretap Tuning it says (Low Boost Pump Scaling: 0-100%) phone app says Pump Low Boost Limit% and (Low Boost Limit Pump: 0-25 psi) phone app says Pump Low Boost Schale PSI Also Timing Reduction Max says (The range for this reduction is 0-10*) but on the app it's 5* So you can see where it's a bit confusing for someone that just trying to figure it out. I hate to ask a million questions, but if I'm not 100% sure what I'm adjusting then none of it will work right. Not sure if there is a way to have instructions mach the names to be identical to whats on the phone app or vice versa. Not a complaint just a suggestion. I'm sure there are people out there dumber than me and wondering same thing, maybe not.

So if Pump Low Boost Limit % is set to 0, then when does wire tap comes in by default at what point of psi or tps ? and 8-11, 11-14, 14-17 math you're using, is it something also set by default?
-
Quadzilla V2 Custom Tunes
So is it yes then, on level 3 from what I posted using that chart I'm only using canbus fueling? and level 4 and up wire tap comes in, but it's not using same table as can bus above but adds to it through TPS Pump MAX and NIN settings and the Fuel Strech? Then where does Pump Low Boost Limit % and Pump Low Boost Scale PSI come in, at given PSI of Boost? Lets say Tune I'm using it's set at 8% is this 8 PSI? so when I get to 8 psi of boost, if I'm on level 4 or higher that's when Pump wire tap kicks in? And if I'm on level 3 then Pump stretch never comes on? Sorry, but I think I'm getting really close on figuring this out. Will be taking programming classes soon

Is this for canbus only? and adjusted on level 3 0 PSI %: 1 PSI %: 2 PSI %: 3 PSI %: 4 PSI %: 5 PSI %: 6 PSI %: 7 PSI %: 8 PSI %: 9 PSI %: 10 PSI %: 11 PSI %: 12 PSI %: 13 PSI %: 14 PSI %: 15 PSI %: 16 PSI %: 17 PSI %: 18 PSI %: 20 PSI %: 22 PSI %: 24 PSI %: 26 PSI %: 28 PSI %: 30 PSI %:

Got another question Say my truck is running and my phone is on and linked to adrenalin through iquad, can someone with quad software on their phone change my settings while my phone is linked or only when nothing is linked to iquad one device can be liked. I'm guessing any device that is compatible can be linked to iquad through bluetooth just like I did originally with my phone and there were no passwords, it just asks you pair with this device, push it and you're paired. Just wondering if anyone tried this, kind of a concern to me. Not that random people will be paring with you, and they would still need the software to do anything, but if you had a buddy that liked messing with you then... Man I think I finally start to understand this at least some of it. So where would it be beneficial to set it more aggressive like that. Why not just use 100 scale and let it ramp up slower. I suppose if you had bigger injectors or turbo things happen quicker and getting there faster might be beneficial?

If I select a different vehicle under vehicle selection will it delete all my saved tunes on the current vehicle? I know you've discussed that before. Reason I'm asking, at first I have chosen a different vehicle not under v2betta but just regular one, make and model of my truck, I was still using old software for few days . Now trying to save names on beta software and it says that name already exists, I'm guessing from old tune on other software so I want to choose a different vehicle and delete Tunes I made there

Sounds like something didn't go together as planned, a step got missed somewher, the only other thing I can think of is maybe pilot bearing is junk and shafts moves. maybe just a guess.
-
Nv5600
How much oil did you have in it. if only to fill plug till comes out then it's not enough. factory it takes 5qts I belive and recommend is 7. it's possible that a bearing went out like Mike said and main shafts has enough play in it for all the things to happen. when I had my mustang I blew Tranny out of it about once a year, and I ended up learning how to rebuild it, it was a t5. most of the time it was main shafts grind all the teef on 2nd or 3rd when I would use nitrous. if not all teef were grinder off it would still go in gear and pop out at random. and also would have noises yre talking about .

1. gotcha 2. so by removing key from ignition and putting it back in within 20 min time span will be ok, and truck will be driveable without have to restart it? pcm, ecm, vp, quad will all agree? I'l try it and find out just wanted an opinion before I fried something. 3. make since 4. also makes since You're welcome you did a bigger thing then you think, (I think) Another few question 1. are you guys still fooling IAT to 143f to help with more timing (summer like conditions) or is it not necessary with new software and being able to set your cruse timing to what you want. and using IAT fooling can be just used for greed heaters ect 2. say you set it to level one with redaction of 5 so it just idles, and then you break your phone, then what. My guess is disconnect batteries unhook tuner plug map sensor in original plug and drive away on a stock truck. For these that know that anti theft option isn;t a problem then. So might want to have a back up plan also. I hope I bring up some good points for everyone that might be wondering same thing, otherwise I fill pretty dumb, just doesn't seem like there is much interest in this right now, unless everybody else has an Edge and just drooling over this thread thinking I wish I had a quad Sorry had to.

Ok, I got to say wow, there is definitely a difference of how the truck drives now. What i noticed is at cruse speed my egt's are down about 100f, low to middle of 600's, truck sounds more crisp, feels like it has less effort to go down the road now, way less smoke on acceleration, just at low end mainly, but for some reason my lieometer is now about 4-5mpg less, it used to stay between 28-34 cruising 55-60 and now for some odd reason it's between 23-29 or so same road same speed, my real mpg was right at 20, but truck feels better, will find out after few days, i'll put few hundred ml on by then and compare. I do have some more questions of course. 1. Quad advertises "Read and Erase DTC's" with iquad, not sure how to get there, and life data where I can monitor timing, etc. in real life if it's an option, just seen your maps when you guys were playing with tuning stuff, how do you get that. 2. An idea and a question, create a tune just for IDLE TIME (winter tune). So if I go to the store for few minutes or pick up kids etc. Have it set at 100f for turbo timer on egt setting, on level 0 with high idle activated after 10-20 sec or so, set power redaction to 10 so it can still high idle, pull the key out of ignition, lock the doors go do your things, come back put key back in, change tune and drive off. Not sure if by putting key back in it will make the tuck go back to normal, or are you going to have to shut it off and sturt it again anyway. 3. By driving on your regular DD tune on levl 3 so wire tap is disabled, and with power reduction at 70-80, would you see better mpg at cruse speed since you're not using full potential, or you'd burn more fuel trying to get going. 4. So basicly for max mileage, you don't need to create a special tune, because at cruse speed above 40mph on level 3 (no wire tap) as long as your cruse timing is around 19-20 you should see good mpgs To be honest, if it wasn't for this new software that Nick wrote I don't think I would by this Iquad or be all that exited about quadzilla, in my opinion Nick saved this thing big time. It's finally where it should've been this whole time. Just my ofcourse. Better late then never. VP trucks will go up in price some more now. Thank you Nick and people involved in updating quad, and Mike and his site for making lots of things possible. Too long of a list to thank for everything.

Does it meter if you use cruise control, on my truck it shows 0 for tps because cruise is electronic

It is green and I didn't think of that warm up mode I set it at 140f, Just saved your tune you posted for me on v2 tunes will try it on the way home about 80ml worth. Is Default Profile a tune also? or you have to build all of your tunes with v2 tuning

Man my head is spinning, Nick I know you have some examples of tunes. But can you please post a few complete ones say for 50-60 hp injectors at maybe a 800' elevation, one for mpg and one for Daily commute and a tow, or anyone who played with this and understands it, like Mike. It might be a bit much to ask and every truck is different but I have my hopes up. Also I saved a custom tune and named it DD has 6 power levels but when switch to gauge screen it shows 0 and I can't go up or down. Also this power reduction setting, does it apply on any tune at level 1 only. So no matter how weak or aggressive your tune might be if you set power reduction to 5 then on lev1 it will barely run. This will be me soon maybe Nick and Mike too after dealing with me. If now one replies I'll understand- Quadzilla Adrenaline V2 Testing
Yes You are right, computers are a pain in the as. , especially if you don't know what you're doing like me. Plus if it happens randomly to random people on random computers, then it really make it hard for me doing it for the first time, thinking I did everything right and it's not working. Then you go second guessing what you did wrong but in fact you might of done it right the firs time, just the computer decided to give you some crap when you least need it. Ether way hopefully I don't have to touch it again for 5 more years. Then it will be done through the phone or by just brain power. OK, I seem to be dumber than I thought, Under vehicle selection What do I chose? Version 2.4 Test Dodge 2001-2001 v2BETA ? My truck is 02.- Quadzilla Adrenaline V2 Testing
I belive this is what I was missing https://www.microsoft.com/en-us/download/details.aspx?id=21 Is this the driver?- Quadzilla Adrenaline V2 Testing
Ok Thank you for these super fast replies, I got it to work, Did it again and like Tyler said opened tune, then connected module, then get info, info popped out, then update on the right and it updated, then back to get info and it now says AD1000V2 at the bottom. Can't wait to find out. Thank you all again. - Quadzilla Adrenaline V2 Testing
