Injectors
I had same problem, what I ended up doing is take some 1500 send paper and then scotch Brite to fuel lines, they were a bit buggered up by previous owner, I just took my time and made sure they were still round and smooth. Not saying that's the right way but it worked for me. Also I used new orings on my injectors and crossover tubes, and they went in just fine with some oil on them. Give it a few days before you do anything, as long as you don't have hard start problem, there is fuel left in cavity after you bleed the lines and it gets pushed out with heat. Chances are most of them are probably fine now.

Teach me how to drive up hill or get more power
That's a good one, considering you have an auto and if it isn't built you don't really want to add HP. Hopefully some one has better news, otherwise you're pretty much doing it the right way. Maybe you'll be ok with some rv275, may just give you enough power to be happy and not damage the tranny.

Seatbelt
Seat belt release is a mechanical device as far as I know, there is usually a waight that hangs down and when vehicle moves erratically that weight activates a lever that locks your seatbelt. Maybe smack it a few more times as you wiggle the seat belt.

Time for a new clutch.
@tonyjsan are you sure monkeys that installed your clutch did it right, what failed what was discovered? Was there truly fault of a clutch, or was there installment mistakes. Not trying to defend SB never had experience with them myself, but just saying.

02 Erratic idle after warm up
Thank you for updating and letting us know, I did hear a rumor that some of these 24 valve heads if worked hard during their life, need a valve and seat job every so often. And some heads crack, it probably has something to do with incorrect warm-up and cool-down, maybe the way it burns fuel also or dirty fuel. My guess if it was a bad seat or a burnt valve, something was keeping the valve from fully closing.

02 47RE to NV4500 Conversion
I sure hope rest of US does not pass laws that exist in California, other than that I think you have a good truck. These bastards keep on taking things that we love.

LOST POWER
@dripley no I don't know that sorry, I didn't buy my truck new. I was just trying to say that manual transmission with cummins seems to bring at least few more thousand dollars and I'm sure glad that I spent it.

Fuel Sender fix issue/question
Like Dripley said, plastic valve with a nipple is event nothing goes to it just make sure it's not plugged with dirt and don't force compressed air into it, maybe use a wire and litely blow dirt out. The one with a rubber cap on it is some sort of test port, on my fuel basket I actually drilled it out and ran my half inch return line from lift pump through it. I know what you're talking about on screws wearing through metal, the only thing you could do that like you already did use extra large washers and maybe slightly longer screws. May have to buy longer screws and cut them to size you need. On your fuel gauge, if the sender is attached to basket make sure float rod is not Bent. Also you can use an ohmmeter and check resistance as you raise float up and down, make sure you getting the full range. Other than that welcome.

LOST POWER
I'm glad I've invested extra few thousand bucks for a manual when buying my truck, just seems like that's the way to go for a working horse. I'm sure there are pros and cons to both, but one thing certain is I don't have to deal with torque converter lock unlock issue.

Bad Starter...?
Yeap, I was just trying to point out that contacts is all that is wrong more than likely.
-
Bad Starter...?
I talked with local rebuilder and they said on ups trucks they change contacts about 3 times before doing anything else to starter.

LOST POWER
Does this effect all of our truck? So if I want to spin tires I'll have limited power to do so? Or did I miss something.

Rear Main Seal
Apologies, though someone had a link, I haven't done one on this engine, but thought it was relatively easy, aside from removing tranny.

Do roll over balls go bad?
It's in the filler neck part of tank, there is a picture here someplace.

Engine/ECM troubles
@Mopar1973Man that's good to know, thanks for pointing it out. I can see how it would mask some issues. In my case I didn't add grounds to reduce ac noise. After I rebuild my alternator and got it working right, I decided to add extra grounds then. And to be honest I thought I was doing a good thing. But I guess if alternator decided to get waky I might not know about on time.

53 BLOCK Problem yes or no
@jag nice

Engine/ECM troubles
I added few heavy grounds to my truck also, battery's to body and frame and frame to body. About half the thickness of regular leads, just something I had laying around. Can't hurt

Injectors
I think you're supposed to put it behind the steering wheel, sorry just kidding have no idea

53 BLOCK Problem yes or no
On most forums you'll definitely get a lot of mix reviews on 53 block, but here people are pretty optimistic and most are knowledgeable. If you had it for a while and it's been fine this long, chances are it will be fine. If you like your truck keep driving it and if it does fail, buy another engine and put it in. Still cheaper then buying a used truck new to you and spending bunch of money to make it right.

VW TDI

New Cummins owner - Intro and beating the dead horse on fuel delivery
Them dirty bastards, I feel your pain. Took wife's car in to dealer for a rear bumper replacement and at first it was 1700 and day and half, ended up being 2800 and over 2 weeks. Hate dealers with passion. This was insurance claim hit and run, she got guys plates so cops found him and he confessed. But no insurance or license, and her car is a lease, so she took it to dealer she got it from, we paid 500 deductible. Finally got car back and bumper is on there with a huge gap 1/2" on one side and sticking out, told her you better take it back or I will, but it won't be pretty. She took care of it and got a free car wash out it. What a waste of time these ( bad word ) are. Not the first time erher dealer not giving a rats ***. I could go on for a while, but wife is happy got her new car back. Women. Without them the world would stop turning.

New Cummins owner - Intro and beating the dead horse on fuel delivery
I tore my old AD apart after it started leaking outside, it was a tiny seal that seals on Armature shaft, it put some nice groves in shaft too. I ended up rebuilding it with random parts and a small seal I got on line, there is a leak hole between motor and filter housing and if it gets pluged, then when seal goes instead of fuel going outside it will go inside motor. But I also bought a fast and been running it since. Ad is a back up now. I hope AD and Fassett can figure a better seal than that tiny thing I seen, mabe something like a mechanical seal, but I'm guessing it will raise price too much. Also I used a shim so new seal was in different place and brushes still looked great.

PUSHLOCK HOSE TOOL
Nice tool, a must have if you have extra cash. Here is another tool to have, http://www.handsontools.com/Mastercool-71475-Universal-Hydraulic-Flaring-Tool-Set_p_2039.html Much cheaper on ebay, this one has pictures of different flares. My daily driver has bad brake and fuel lines discovered after I changed rusty leaky fuel tank. So instead of trying to piece things together with random fittings I bought 2 coils off line 3/16 and 5/16 I'll be able to make flare and quick-connect fittings all out of one line without splices. Plus I was planning on redoing the brake lines on my truck hope this thing works as advertised. I actually bought a flaring tool before that was Calvan. Sold it to a friend. https://www.walmart.com/ip/Cal-Van-Tools-165-In-Line-Flaring-Tool-For-3-16-To-3-8-4.75MM-To-8MM-Makes-Single-Double-Or-Bubble-Flares-Case/49773827?wmlspartner=wlpa&selectedSellerId=1397&adid=22222222228037422383&wl0=&wl1=g&wl2=m&wl3=85501913930&wl4=pla-193583642690&wl5=9018697&wl6=&wl7=&wl8=&wl9=pla&wl10=112550031&wl11=online&wl12=49773827&wl13=&veh=sem and it did good double flares, butt bubble flares little bit ugly. And it wasn't able to do Quick Connect fittings. You can find better deals im sure. Though I'd share.
