  2. Above my pay grade Although I'm pretty sure mine was fine when I updated to v2 tune and same day driving around it jumped to 2 psi, could be wrong though.
  3. I'm more than happy with it, just need to spend more time playing with different settings and figure it out a 100%, it will all come togethet in the end I know it.

You are a man as usual, just when I thought wow finally quad is where it should of been long ago, you and quad keep coming up with better things, it's getting hard to keep up but definitely worth the wait. Glad I didn't get rid of my quad after they left the stage few years back. Pays off waiting sometimes.

  10. Can someone provide a link to where custom tuning for new 2.5 v2 version explained, what parameter does what. Unless there isn't one. Thank you.

  12. Are you saying these trucks have an anti stall feature, so it's harder to kill when taking off? I learned something today, always thought it was a nature of a diesel not want to die like a gas motor.
  13. looks like a good quality alternator, the only thing I noticed is the add says 5.9 V8 and diodes are 40 amp instead of 60 but there's more of them, other than that looks like well built.
  14. I've been driving a car again instead of the truck and I think I forgot everything that I learned plus you guys keep coming out with new fixes. I'll have to learn this thing all over again. hopefully it will all be ironed out soon and have clear instructions on how to.

  17. Ha, most of us are, it pays off at the end though, till something else decides not to work. Part of life I guess, you quit learning when you die. This site is the best for a lot of reasons in my opinion. We all go through ups and downs.
  18. Nothing new under the sun here, had some -15 with -30 windchill, it's better now. Most of Christmas shopping is out of the way, that alone feels good. Been driving my wife's old car for a while so can't complain there, didn't have to deal with gelling up and abusing my truck, seen a few trucks sitting along the road. On the other note now that I mention my wife, she's got a first new car in her life was heading to a dealer to get plates put on and a guy rear-ended her and then ran away. Luckily she got his plates, called the cops, they found the guy. sure enough no insurance no license. He did plead guilty on the spot, but somehow I doubt that he will pay the damage. Merry Christmas to our 500 deductible.
  19. I never used clamps with push lock fittings, I belive they're rated pretty high and depending on hose used. I never seen push on 90, might have to get a female 90 and screw in fittings. Or make something out of JIC plus push on.
  20. I was thinking that diesel will be the way to go in future, efficiency, power, longevity etc. So yeah, I guess I was wrong as usual. They're going to have to pry my truck from my dead cold hands, just like my guns that will be protecting it

In my mind no power equals not enough fuel and Air, if there is no smoke and no boost leaks sounds like it's under fueled, since fuel delivery is mostly electronically controlled on this truck, in my opinion problem lies within VP or ECM. I suppose that could be mechanical problem inside VP, something not letting fuel through. All just speculation of course, maybe try double dose of two stroke in case something seized up in VP.
