Here are my . Dothey all come with the big line kit? NO. Purchase it from a Diesel shop. Better warranty than if you purchase off of EBAY. If you purchase off of EBAY it is usually just the pump. When you say "big line kit" if your talking about the line from the vp to the fuel filter that is extra! Easy instal? Install is easy. Easy to follow instructions. Are you happy with it? I am with mine!

Welcome to the forum! While your looking for a 2nd Gen truck also look for codes and fuel pressure. Might save you some heart ache after you get the "new" truck home when ever that may be!- What can you tell me about the auto shutdown function?
I would check for codes first! If you don't have a tool to do that yo9u can try the key trick. BUT it has to say "done" TWICE! If not, you will have to have the codes read at a parts store. Key trick is on, off, on, off, on,on then write down the numbers that come up and repost them on the forum. That will give us some valuable info to start helping you out!P.S. When you do the key trick that is not starting the truck up. Good Luck!- P0123, P1693, p0216 codes and no overdrive
Make sure your battery cables are making a good connection. My truck is touchy for shifting when the volts drop! When ever my truck starts shifting weird I start checking the batteries and the cables! Good Luck!- Newbie North Texas

This is for my son,He has an 06 cummins 6 sp tranny. While pulling into to the driveway this afternoon, like a blonde he let his foot off the clutch with his foot on the brake still. the tires kept spinning for about 3 seconds and then it died. Well when he went to start it back up it kinda "lurched" with his foot still in on the clutch and did not want to start. So with the truck turned off he put the stick to neutral put his foot back in on the clutch and then proceeded to start and lo and behold it did. Well now the clutch feels different it will push back up real hard when you have it pushed in and it will not shift in to any gear while running. But if you turn the truck off and have it in gear before turning it on it will start fine, but with your foot in on the clutch it wants to go! Please any thought would be appreciated!- Check this out...

Thanks for your reply. What does everyone thing of using JB Weld and welding a bolt or allen head in the rounded allen head and trying to get it out that way? I have been dousing the bolt with WD-40 to help loosen it.- mother schooled me
My brother and I solved that problem with Readers Digest on each "cheek"! Worked great for quite a while till mom was wondering where the Readers Digests were!- Isspro gauge help
Ok guys I need some help! Just purchased pyro and tranny temp gauges to go along with my FP gauge. Got some questions: 1. Do you put the tranny sensor on the line that is on the left front corner of the tranny? 2. Is there any reason why they sent a 6' connector wire that goes from the pyro sensor to the elctrical sensor for the pyro? Looks like the wires are already long enough to connect! 3. Where is the best place to get the 12v power source for these 2 electrical boxes? I have seen a picture as to where to drill the manifold for the pyro sensor, I will look for that! Thanks for your input!Update:After looking for the picture where to put the EGT probe, I go and look at my manifold closer and to my surprise it is a 3 piece ATS manifold! Already has a internal allen head bolt for the probe! Bad news, I tried to remove it and it is welded tight in there from the heat I guess. So, still going to have to drill the manifold.- I need to stop complaining about my day!

Your numbers are good for idle and driving. No need to turn it down. The VP needs at least 14 psi to keep it cooled.- little help please
How much fuel thru the injectors? Even though you can hear the fuel pump I would pull the outlet line from the fuel pump and check there. You should get quite a bit coming thru the line if you bump the starter. With out a fuel pressure reading that is current I would start looking at the fuel supply and move forward. Good luck!- Re-priming problem after RP-100 install (sorry it's a novel)
