  1. when you plug the box in does it beep at you?
  2. IF it transfers picture from your camera it is the right cable. I am still nto sure what issue you are having? Up top it seemed like you where trying to load a custom tune on your phone, down below it seems like you are trying to flash your box.
  3. PLEASE let us know what you heard. also please ensure you keep and open mind in terms of what you were told vs what we are finding. I will do the same from the other point of view.
  4. Please ensure you are using a data transfer usb cable. alot of the usb cables are power only, IE missing 2 of the wires needed.
  5. $222 is %80 of the cost of projectors. Iw ould get a refund as well. I see no reason to believe the next set will be any better.
  6. If you want the recipe for power you can look at the edge datalogs. At high boost / high throttle timing is maxed at 30* just after 2500 rpm. Same goes for the old quadzilla tunes

  8. Good info here! fuel stretch it just a US of fueling duration extension on the fueling solenoid. It has been well documented that going above ~1600-1800 setting can cause less hp than a lower number. I dont really know why really. as far as I can guess it is ~%30 more duration. as for what your truck likes you will have to play with that. you should also ensure you are ramping up timing on the top end higher. I noticed a pretty significant difference in peak power by increasing timing above 2500 rpm. 2500: 24 3000: 28 max:30
  9. at idle ~70 when cold and 30 when hot however not all trucks have a true oil pressure sensor, some have a switch.
  10. that was me. the oil pressure sensor shorted internally and caused the entire 5v system to go wacko.
  11. you can do it wihtout the dbrIII, just follow the guide with a multimeter.

  14. so long as crank times are less than ~5 seconds or you don't key on and back off within ~1 minute of the quad making a connection you will never see this issue. It is however what causes that frustrating issue. Same thing for freezing while changing power levels 5 minutes down the road.
  15. there is a build data field in the data log. that will tell you what date the flash was created on. You can't correlate to a vehicle profile as the profile is what defines sensors, but not the tuning. @Mopar1973Man I found the issue that causes the app to not connect for a prolonged period. If you key on and the app starts to connect and load the tune ( if you have the beta release of the app you can see the status bar) then you crank and for whatever reason it takes longer than a few seconds for the crank start the engine, then the tune load will stall out as power to fuse 9 is pulled during cranking and the box under the hood goes into sleep mode. If this happenes then the app goes into a weird stuck mode. If you were running the apk without the status bar you would think the app "is just not connecting" when in actually it connected, and started loading the tuning variables then power was cut and hte app got stuck in a loop waiting for hte next tuning variable. Quadzilla is aware of the bug now that they can reproduce it.
  16. again the profile version and hte base flash version do not have to equal each other. the 2.5 version vechicle profile is the public release version, which is backwards compatible with the 2.7 base flash. I get the confusion, but there was never supposed to be a match between the iquad profile and the base flash. if you want a stable flash release that is the 2.6 release in hte downloads section. The 2.7 is stable for the most part, but there is an ios bug that needs to be sorted. please also remember that there are guys with 4k boxes still, guys with v1 tunes still, Quadzilla can't delete the profiles they use and try to force update people. There is no good way for the box to tell the screen what base flash is loaded, and what profile needs to be used. The V2 profiles are clearly marked and there are only 2 of them. fixing the vehicle list for you will break it for 1000's of others.
  17. is your truck settings configured int he app? Tire size? rear gear? trans type? etc?
  18. It's a rough calc of how much slip the trans current has based on a gear guess and mph, vs the tire size and gearing. I dont find it very useful, but yea.

  20. all the tunes are hosted in the downloades section. high idle ramp up is something people report broken both way. I fix it for one group and the other group break, and the other way around. the instant ramp up is where we left it, but it is on the list to revisit.
