Are all 3 gone?

I bought these for my retrofit, but I am really happy with the quality for the price. Do you want to move to sport housings or keep them standard?

I don't think I am too far away from making the jump to a 3rd gen truck. My truck is getting pretty tired.

My guns were all stolen a few years ago I will absolutely pass the Winchester down, but in the meantime I am going to use it

Good work. Autozone and other big box stores only test for DC volt output, they don't check for failed diodes or other issues. Glad the issues are fixed though.

I %100 agree with you. I typically wear a white shirt and jeans. I wear a carhart from nov-march when it is somewhat cold, but honestly I hated having to wear a big enough jacket to cover the gun to obey the CCW laws. I am watching some recent stuff from Ben Carson and I am hoping and pray that he is nominated. He is so level headed and solid in his belief, Sadly, people don't listen.

that's just a little guy haha, at least compared to the 4.5" barrel of my EAA Witness. I love how it shoots, but it is big enough to throw at someone after you run through your 12 rounds.

I carry a fullsize 45 so that is a little hard to be comfy with lol. As for octagon barrel...

Call a local alternator shop, I am sure there is one if you live in a largish town. Have them rebuild your code with good parts.

That reminded me that I needed to buy a spring for my pistol. Thinking about maybe doing ccw again.

If you plan on spending a lot of time in the high rockies then maybe it would be a good investment, but beyond that I rarely see a need,

agree'd if the weather is bad enough that you need chains between here and AR then you shouldn't be on the road.

Idle Verify Switch. The APPS sensor is complex in how it works, not only does it use a.5V-4.5V range to give us 0-100% throttle, but if at idle position it will trigger the IVS and the truck knows it is at idle. that is why the apps sensor is a 6 pin connection. The switch may or may not work with a bad apps. Hard to know until you try, but I am guessing it will work fine.

and my issue is back. Last night idling I was seeing turbo speed, this morning, nadda..... ugh.

Mike, another thing to note about the high idle function being remembered, it will remember the high idle position it was set to, but it will disable itself when coolant temp has been reached. Easiest way to think about it is, the switch turns the function on, but the only thing that can turn the function off is coolant temp coming up to what the ECM sees as warm. or shutting off the truck for 30 seconds. Keep in mind high idle is disabled if you hit the brakes, tps, mph is above 0 gear is seleted, so you can't reallly have it just go into high idle until you are truly at idle. Leathermaneod, there is 1 switch for sale currently. The high idle switch just fools the ecm into thinking it is warm outside. The smartys tune has a timing map for IAT values in warm weather, so there is no real issue. The switch itself does not adjust timing, just change the input value on the sensor to make the ecm adjust timing itself.

woot, Shaft speed is reading again. Turns out that the butt joints I used, after I notices the solder joints were bad, don't work in the VSS setup. I dont understand why you can use a plug/pin connection but a button connector won't work. Back to the OBD stuff.
