If you could have any car you wanted....
I'm not much of a car guy.. but a twin turbo Lingenfilter is sweet!

What Filters for AirDog 150
Those filters you listed are for the FASS 150. Yes the FASS uses a hydraulic fluid filter, which is why it's so expensive and the ratings for fuel are unknown. Best filters are Baldwin BF1275 and Donaldson P551315. Unless you beleive the air removal theory there isn't much reason to get one of the filtered pumps, you can build a system that meets or exceeds the filtration for less money. The stock lift pump in 05 is a good unit, mine pushes thru 3 filters at 400 rwhp with no pressure issues. I got 30K miles out of my filters last go-round and this time looks like 22K.

high idle
Based on what I have heard the steering wheel is everything, so the rare 03 with the new wheel are effected by the TSB, but it's generally 04+.

high idle
have a link to the TSB?

Ever wonder what a AirDog filter looks like inside...
Does it use the little or big filters?

2011 clutch
Honestly I am not sure. I don't think it's the hydraulics thou, as you have to upgrade your hydraulics to run a SBC clutch. The DMF does seem to slip easier than a SMF NV5600 clutch, so it could be a weaker plate.

Unfortunately there is a language barrier and application specific info that sometimes makes getting 100% accurate info out of MADS difficult.

Well you are opening a large can of worms with Fram. They are hated even more than K&N. I personally have never seen an issue with Fram (unlike K&N) but there is plenty of evidence of Fram destroying motors to not run them.

Weird cooling system problems HELP?
Good deal!

high idle
Yeah with the different steering wheel I am 99.999999^999999% sure it wont work.

2011 clutch
All the DMF trucks are that way, so 05.5+. I do the same thing when I get into my dads truck, 06. Now I have a OFE and it's even tougher than stock. My dad will be getting a Con O when his DMF craps the bed, so he may be in for a surprise!

high idle
Fast idle should work on all 04's. It works on the rare 03 that has the updated cruise control buttons.. so I have heard. But for the most part its an 03+ feature.

Timing Effects

Timing Effects
I agree!!Thou I do beleive the regen process does work.. look at the tailpipe of a new truck. 100% clean! Something is happening to actually change the soot to something else. But I agree, burn more natural resources to protect them?

Timing Effects
Unfortunately emissions has taken a lot of the efficiency away, any way you look at. The P7100 runs lower injection pressure, less fuel at less pressure takes less horsepower to pump. The CP3 pumping up to 23K takes a bit of hp to make. Unfortunately there are far more variables than just the timing. I do agree that a dynamic P7100 would be pretty cool and probably yield great results.

Can OBD-II scanner and tuners unable to connect
This has been happening a lot lately.. OEM software is updated and the tuners/scanners don't recognize it.. You should be able to update your tuner and be good.

Timing Effects
Your 3.54's and 4x2 make a HUGE difference, that and the weight.. even if you add 1K to your bed I bet I am still heavier, more wind resistant, and despite all my efforts still have a more emissions minded motor... and that doesn't even get into the terrain! I bet I could get 22ish out of my truck at 60 mph in your part of the country, if not more. You also have to consider the CP3 trucks have 2 or 3 injection events and based on EFI Live testing removing and reducing them makes a big difference, up to 3 mpg is reported.. thats a real world 3 mpg not a marketing ploy. 12V's are very efficient motors, any way you cut it. They don't turn the rpms that newer trucks do, which has an effect on mileage when accelerating. I have heard 15-15.5° is about optimal for economy, power, and driveability on a 12V manual trans truck. Timing does play a decent role in my economy. The setting I have now I see at least .75 mpg better when cruising at 75-80, and on more advanced see 1-1.25 mpg better.

Oil Truns Black Quick
Stratapore are great fitlers, don't get me wrong. But they are absolute at 25um, the Donaldson/Amsoil are absolute at 15um, that's better. Is it needed? Probably not for most, but they are about the same cost and better filtration is better regardless.

Weird cooling system problems HELP?
Cummins should offer a 180 and a 190 as they were both offered stock and all Industrial ISB's use 180's. Not sure why they are so expensive elsewhere?

Weird cooling system problems HELP?
Cummins quickserve I only paid $30 ish for a Cummins tstat!

Oil Truns Black Quick
EaO80 or Donaldson ELF7349, same filter but the Donaldson is cheaper... There is nothing better. It will help with the UOA, but my oil is still just as black 15K miles after my cam. I was hoping it would clean up, but I think the pistons still contribute too much to the soot loading. I am very happy with my cam thou! I am glad I didn't go bigger as I would have had to do something different with the exhaust brake, I lowered my rpms for 60 psi by 500!

Oil Truns Black Quick
A soot particle is sub-micron in size. The best conventional bypass filter on the market is 2um absolute, and about 39% efficient at catching soot. Which still catches a bunch, even the full flow at 15-35um catches soot. But not at the rate in which its collected. A centrifuge spins the oil and all the contaminates are slung and trapped, while clean oil is returned to the sump. They are not cheap, difficult to mount, and honestly not really needed.. even a bypass isn't needed, but it's easy and effective. :lmao2:

Oil Truns Black Quick
Yes it is, and some engines do it worse than others. 04 was the last year for 100% stock engines to have visually clean oil. Modern oil is both detergent and has additives to suspend soot. This is a double-edged sword, you don't get soot agglomerating and causing wear, but you also have a very hard time filtering it due to its suspended size. A centrifuge is really the only way to remove all or near all of the soot.

Baldwin question
I would guess the housings are slightly different. Just use the one that came with the Baldwin and it will be fine.
