Acceleration still not completely smooth
I've been where you are, done the resets. After about 2 years of off and on dealing with it I finally broke down and took a chance and bought an Apps sensor from Timbo. I put it on my truck and took it for a drive an immediatley saw that the Apps was doing it all along. Mine didn't do it when using cruise as is your case also. Why did I wait that long to just buy it Buy one and be done with it, if it's not that, i'm sure it's not the first $175 you'll waste in your lifetime:whistle:

Acceleration still not completely smooth
If you can have it happen on a highway, put the cruise control on and see if it still does it

Give me the Skinny!
I decided a bit ago to pass on this truck I was talking about. My father in law told me yesterday the guy just had it to the dealer...turbo blew up and the whole front end had to be replaced. All under warranty

Which Brake Pads... need to hear your experiences
I actually went with the most expensive about 2 years ago.I had the thought of more metallic, better stopping power, less heat build up... but I may be way off in that idea Lasting well, no warped rotors, no regrets yet

Ever look up and wonder where those planes are coming from or going to?
No he didn't build it, he just bought about a month ago and yes it is a Kitfox if I remember correctly( I don't know much about them). He started out flying with a Chinook and moved to this. He's home now, the hospital was amazed saying they don't usually see small plane pilots walk out of there, especially the same day. I swear he has nine lives

Ever look up and wonder where those planes are coming from or going to?
Wonder if they had this one? My brother in law today, but he was ok, just a bad concussion and some cuts. Memory isn't there though but they say he'll be ok. Just got it too, he's going to one unhappy camper when he sees it on a few days, right now he doesn't remember to much about it. The field is where we hauled it to, the trail is where he landed. Just took off from his landing strip and fell out of the sky, dropped about 75ft through the trees onto this trail. Gota love the media, the field shots were on his private property with gates closed. That's even after I told a news reported who asked where the landing strip was it was on private property...and he walked a 1/4 mile to find it and took it upon himself to go in and take his shots

Tuning
I've got the same type truck and the BHAF and 4". I had the XZT then decided to go with the Juice with Attitude. I bought an older version one off CF and picked it mainly for the gauges, although the 120Hp extra was a twist of my arm too . I love the programmer, usually run it on mileage setting and even that setting makes it scat. Never regret putting it on. Hunt around on CF and you'll find a used one no problem. My next addition is going to be RV275's. One last thing, my stock clutch is handling it just fine, but I use common sense. I never nailed it for dead stop and usually wait until im rolling along decent before I play. Adjustable on the fly is nice

NV5600 fluid
I finally tracked down some Pennzoil fluid and changed my fluid today. Added 6 quarts, and also took the PTO cover off to have a peak and wipe the bottom out, but once I took it off I saw there's no room to even get a rag down in there to wipe it out. The gears stick out there and take up pretty much any room it has . Surprised the fluid I took out didn't look that bad.

You think a Timbo APPS will correct this surging issue?
Mine surged mainly when cold, or when out on the highways trying to hold a constant speed. Difference in mine from yours is mine did not do it when I used cruise control. Tim from Timbo Apps if I remember correctly said the ECM controls the throttle when using cruise, and where mine did not do it when using cruise, he felt the Apps sensor was the culprit. I bought one and put it on, problem solved...yours on the other hand may be a different beaast from the sounds of things Fuel gauge can be anywhere from an electronic programmer with display screen, or mechanical gauges. You tap into the fitting going into your VP44 that feeds the pump, use a snubber or T- valve to restrict the pulsations that will ruin your gauge over time. I had a cheap $15 gauge until I got an Edge monitor...did the trick and showed what I had for pressure until I got a good one. A 30psi will be best as you hope to run around 12-19 psi for pressure.

Got one from Tim also...easy install with no problems.

I'm thinking this should work ?
Glad I asked the question . Thanks for the info Hagger

I'm thinking this should work ?
I'm thinking this is something that would bolt right up to my truck but not 100% sure ? I'm still running factory turbo but with 4" MBRP. Exhaust should also bolt up shouldn't it? It did to my existing turbo. I ask because from his add he doesn't seem positive it will do other years http://www.cumminsforum.com/forum/general-sale-section/516221-jacobs-exhaust-brake.html

I have my RSP',s but a few months back I bought some shares in 2 different companies, up almost $2000 in a little over 3 months ..haven't done that well with my RSP funds. Waiting for them to go up to what they were a year or so ago, then i'll sell them...hopefully it wont go bust, but thats a chance I knew I am taking.

I'm Torn, Wonderin' If I should change out the VP.........
You might buy a new one and get a dud that doesn't last long for whatever reason.. Just because it's new, doesn't mean another one couldn't crap out on you also.

Tire blew up!
You should take it to a Michelin dealer and ask them to get the Michelin area Rep to look at it and see if they can make any conclusion to why it came apart. If it was completely bald it would be one thing, but...
