  1. Jeez, hope that’s the last of the road repairs needed on this trip!
  2. Sounds decent. Any rust? Fur plate been messed with? Starts right up cold and hot? If the funds are there and it fits what you want then go for it.
  3. 30in FTE on a diamond eye You don’t count, you have twins so it’s quieter!!
  4. Cousin has 4in with resonator almost at the downpipe and it sounds amazing. Pretty tame at idle, definitely know it’s there when you hit the gas, but drone is gone.
  5. I meant when flipping the switch to 6cyl and unhooking the quad when jump starting someone.
  6. And some of us are even MORE smart...
  7. With the long bed I think the positive or negative take stands out more. I’d google search it so you can get an idea. I’m pretty sure stormin08 on cumminsforum has 3in springs from one of those two companies and his is like riiiiight at level, maybe a slight nose high take depending on how you look at it, but he’s also a short bed so it’s harder to see. I have 2in spacers and there’s even times where I look at the truck and it appears nose high. Turns out it’s not but just he angle it can deceive you at times. With a trailer or heavy load in the bed, my truck sits ever so slightly nose high. I plan on going down to 1in spacers when I can get new shocks in hopes it’s a happy medium between stock rake and somewhat leveled look.
  8. Yea that’s what I’d use it for as well @Dieselfuture. Just unplug the quad from the main plug and flip the switch to 6 and your set.
  9. Those parts listed should clear the tire size you wanna run no problem. Metal cloak is another good option for arms but DOR makes a solid product. Youll want to look into something for the rear, as it’s almost guaranteed you’ll have a really nose high rake once your gooseneck and jeeps are loaded. From what I’ve seen with the carli springs (and Thuren for that matter) they sit nose high even when unloaded so keep that in mind.
  10. Lookin forward to the progress. Could you post links or brand/part numbers to what you’re getting/replacing?
  11. Look through here to find something close https://mopar1973man.com/forum/185-standard-quadzilla-adrenaline-tunes/
  12. uhhh the one for your year truck?? Pretty sure it only says 1998.5-2002 v2 so you're sorta limited on options, just make sure it's v2.
  13. Probably, its the same as if you were to step on the pedal and rev up to 1200rpm and hold it. 3cyl sounds like the engines trying to run and take itself apart at the same time.
  14. This... Also, there will be NO mistaking the difference between 6 & 3 cyl high idle, I promise
  15. That's the same setup @Me78569 runs. Here's a link to his daily tune With the Samsung devices, it seems you have to email it to a gmail account and then open/import it on your samsung from there. At least that's what's worked for me.
  16. I've always viewed it as 3cyl was to get things warmed up cuz it's cold as ****. 6cyl will help warm things up, but not as quick, but I see it's main benefit if I had to sit for a while and didn't want the truck to idle at 800rpm the whole time, using a winch or jump starting someone, things like that.
  17. There's different 'types' of high idle. It can do either a 6cyl or 3cyl high idle depending on outside varibables. The smarty can enable those to be done by the OEM software, the quad will mimic it (from what I understand) and basically trick the truck into doing the same thing just a different way.
  18. Pretty sure he’s talkin about 3cyl high idle and what not.
  19. Cuz race trok!
  20. Seems weird. I’m sure there’s no compensation on your end either which makes this even worse!
  21. Hope so! Worse case scenario being you had to pick a different color... you got a back up??
  22. HellZ no! Race truck neva breakz!
  23. That’s what everyone around here will tell ya! lol
