  1. Uhhh you sure those are good glasses?? Looks like you’re in the wrong seat!!
  2. Surprised to see any wiretap in your tune at all, at least set as low a setting as you have it. Are you getting a ton smoke down low? Seems like a lot of fuel from wiretap really early to me, but I’m not the expert.
  3. So I’ve been driving my dads truck for a while and I’ve noticed in the morning at first start up the truck will surge a bit under very light throttle. Like only enough throttle to get the trucks moving you can hear it. Let it coast, nothing. Get a little more on the throttle, nothing. Only lasts a 1/4-1/2 mile or so. Doesn't seem like there’s neccesarily anything wrong, just wondering if anyone knows what it could be?
  4. Ive heard there’s work arounds to that, can’t remember off the top of my head how but sounded annoying.
  5. Stealth cover is really nice for tapping the VP and makes sure you get it right. You don’t need an egt probe hooked up to the quad for the turbo timer to work. You can simply set it for a certain time and the truck will continue running after you turn off the key for that set time.
  6. That’s weird if doesn’t lock in first. Do you not have your valve body enabled for first gear lock up? Even more weird it’ll lock in 2nd and not stall the truck. Mine’ll lock in 1st and stall the truck, that is if I hit the switch.
  7. Yea that’s kinda crap from FASS. I didn’t use their pickup so I never had to worry about it, but that could be the answer to at least half your problem. I would also still wire it up the way the instructions state. Makes no sense to do it another way just because of some possible damage.
  8. First off with a mechanical gauge you won’t see pressure after you shut it off. You should see a quick blip of pressure at key on, then like Mike mentioned the 7-12 psi while cranking. Sounds to me like you have something goin on with the suction side. What did you do for fuel pick up at the tank? What size fuel lines? Double checked all fittings?
  9. I’ve never heard of it before. Not a huge fan of shift kits as they seem to leave a lot to be desired. Probably better off saving up a few more pennies and getting a full valve body.
  10. I don’t have one, was just curious if this was a problem with all that size sxe turbos or just that size turbo in general.
  11. Basically the main reason I went with a FASS over the Fuel Boss the first time was the filtration. I liked the smaller fuel filter and water separator that came with the FASS and I didn’t want to use the stock fuel filter so I bypassed that. Now with the option of better filtration AND water sep in the same location as the stock fuel filter it’s a no brainer for me. Increasing pressure from the mechanical pump, mechanical reliability, simple design, that’s how I’d go if I were doing it again, and still may go in the future.
  12. So is this only a problem with a 3 piece exhaust and 62/68/12? Or just that turbo size?
  13. If I were too do it all over again from scratch I’d go with a GDP and get his stock filter replacement as well.
  14. That does look really good! Thanks for the extra pics! Where’d you find the center console?
  15. Do you have pics a little further out? I’d like to see how it goes with the seats and dash!
  16. How much juice?
  17. Borrowing this for a couple weeks Its a nice!
  18. Sounds good, thanks for the input. I’ve had the ones I mentioned under my back seat forever now as spares in case of emergency and was going to use them, but I’ll get those ones you recommended. What’s the best place to buy in your opinion? I saw them on amazon but not sure how the price compares to other places.

I thought @04Mach1 was saying this was a Common Rail 5.9 issue not for us 2nd gen bubbas?
  21. They definitely don’t flow what they say they do but I can’t remember what causes that to be the case. @AH64ID I’m currently about to use Donaoldson 551313 & 558000 for fuel/water on my FASS, is there a better mixed matched combo for flow rates?
  22. And they’re still not telling you how they’ve determined your fuel was “contaminated.”
