  1. Can’t say I have but couldn’t say it’s impossible. Just thinking broadly about the H x W x L measurements in my mind, seems like the height might be the most difficult.
  2. Well there’s a lot going on here so I’ll address part. Without getting into a debate, the 47re can be built to handle what you’re talking about no problem. Will that last for 200k not sure, but that’d be the same response for any other trans with that much power and that time. I’ve had 2 trucks with all stock 47re’s make it over 175k on a stock power truck no problem so they can last that long, just stock power. Not quite sure what the infatuation with the turbo whistle is but if you go compounds, you’ll hear it. Compounds and slow spool don’t really exist on daily driven setups. Exhaust brake might be tough (or non existent) with compounds but maybe an inline one will work but I don’t know for a fact.
  3. Yea 1600 is getting pretty toasty, I’d say get a dedicated boost gauge to verify what your boost numbers are and then we can go from there. Either way you shouldn’t have issues controlling those injectors. It might be as simple a fix as a boost elbow and fooler or just a boost leak.
  4. What brand converters are you guys running that’s having these noise issues?
  5. I’d get a dedicated set of gauges, map readings for boost are real iffy. Being a 99 you should have an HX regardless of manual or auto and like Dripley stated, about 35lbs is all its good for so anything well above or below that can cause you’re high egt issues. 50hp injectors shouldn’t be too much for the HX to handle but if it’s all original with that many miles it’s definitely possible it needs some attention. Either way I say run an actual boost gauge (and fuel pressure if you don’t already have it!) and since you’re saying you have high EGTs I’m assuming you already have that gauge. Although before we start adding gauges, what are the temps you’re seeing EGT wise??
  6. Looks good @rogerash0 do you happen to have the dimensions? If my exchanger ever starts looking suspect I may go this route.
  7. Interesting... where’d you download it from and what version is it?
  8. When I replaced my stock track bar it made a big difference in the wonder but mainly in the turns. It’s good to have the axle stay put haha
  9. I like DeBoss, he makes great videos. Could always upgrade to an adjustable track bar and call it good.
  10. Yaaaaaayyyyyyyy
  11. Sounds like a TV cable adjustment issue in my uneducated opinion. Other then that have you done a band adjustment recently or checked it? I know I got mine too tight once and it wouldn't shift outta first at all so could be that.
  12. I can try and get these for you later today then since tire size won't matter for your application.
  13. I got a 2in level on mine or I’d go out n measure for ya!
  14. I thought an HX was limited to around 350-375? I’ve heard of some breaking 400 but never with a dyno sheet to prove it.
  15. Yes.... paint those center caps!
  16. Those numbers sound right for EGTs. My guess is cutting the wires messed with the expected resistance to the gauge and is causing the lower temp reading which is why on the uncut quad probe you’re seeing higher (but normal) temps.
  17. Pretty unlikely you’re egt probe is bad. Between Isspro and quads are basically identical except for the connections back to the gauge. If two different probes are giving you the same reading then that’s probably correct. If you think they’re low when they should be higher, maybe the probe isn’t installed far enough or the seal is no good, or perhaps you have it on the front 3cyl on the manifold?
  18. Sounds like it’s in reference to the #5 pin with the fuel shut off signal
  19. @mopar440cu where’d you get the turbo from?
  20. Yea man, those numbers are nothin to shake a stick at. If it were over 190 constantly then yea you’d have cooling issues. Seeing a 20* shift is proof that your port isn’t getting adequate fluid to measure temp properly. If I ever need to replace mine I’ll be looking here... http://www.americancoolingsolutions.com/1998-2002-dodge-ram-cummins-transmission-oil-cooler-3935812/ or with an oem.
  21. Yea but his is gonna shoot rainbows outta the exhaust when he mashes it, that special!
  22. How hot is hot? The stock heat exchanger should be just fine unless it’s rotting out on ya or somethin.
  23. Impossible, he’s using a sump. My guess would be someone installed it either too far forward or just in an awkward spot and when accelerating, fuels moving to the back and away from the sump causing issues. It is a bit strange that you’re having pickup issues with the sump as I thought that’s why everyone was so in love with them. As far as fuel gauge moving very slowly then quickly, that sounds about right for these trucks. I typically see mine move right around 100 miles on the trip but that’s because I’m typically city driving.
  24. Any different techniques or procedures for the 24v?
  25. Same on the Goerend pan Why are you installing the Derale?
