  1. Sorry to hear Mike! Eveytime I hear about another pump going out I get worried about mine but then I just think, as long as there's good fuel pressure there's nothing you can really do about it until it happens!
  2. I'd also go with Mikes suggestion since it's so close to where it's mounted.
  3. As far as exhaust materials go, this next time I get one it'll be stainless. I went with a standard aluminum diamond eye with my 99 and although it's not rusting, it does have some surface rust I wasn't really expecting. Nothing against diamond eye and the quality. I bought it knowing it was a possibility just didn't think I'd see this within the first few years. I'm also going to go with an mbrp 5in with muffler next time mainly because of the exhaust exit. Diamond eye can exit in a similar fashion but from what I've seen it's not quite the same and I want it exit as close to the bumper corner as possible and looks like mbrp will do that. As far as quiet goes, I think the supplied mufflers will do a little in 'muffling' but not as much as say a Donaldson. A resonator might help as well but it'll need to be as close to the downpipe as possible to be really effective. Sorry that's a lot, hope it helps.

  5. It's hard for me to tell in those videos but it doesn't seem terrible, but not normal either. If you have known issues then I'd start there and once they're all fixed then I'd see how the trucks running and go from there.
  6. Makes sense that's for sure. I think I'm going to end up with rv275's (or something similarly sized) for a while before I bump up to a bigger turbo and injectors. Good to know for future upgrades though.

  8. Stock HG is good to 45-50 right? I was more asking out of curiosity. I know they're expensive but still cheaper then replacing the hg right?!

  10. Are you still running a single disk converter? If so, that's why you're slipping.

  14. I think the momentary switch idea is the fool proof way to avoid doing anything dumb. That's why I was thinking of using an LED if I decided to go with a toggle switch so at least I'd know when it was on and off.

  16. Cool, I just wanted to make sure I understood what you guys were saying when you said, don't be dumb hahah I might end up finding some good used rv275's and rolling with those for a bit. Pretty sure my current injectors are on their last leg.
  17. Got it. So what would be like the no-no's if I ran 150s with hx35 and xzt? No romping, WOT runs, heavy towing? If I was able to upgrade injectors and get the quad adr at the same time would that make things less prone to becoming a grenade if I did something stupid?

  20. I think that's what I'm essentially trying to do. My problem is what order should I get everything?? Injectors, box, turbo? box, turbo, injectors? turbo, box, injectors?! Because my thing is like if I do go with 150s, will that be terrible to run with my hx35 and xzt that I have now? and then cut and paste 150s in with turbo or box and that's what my starting point is.
