  1. Mine is still stock at 253k.
  2. Short beds got 34 gallon tanks and long beds got 35. My truck is the same way, most I have ever got in it was 29 gallons and the gauges showed completely empty.
  3. You should still be able to find new pulse monitors from a few vendors.
  4. My buddies was leaking so he got a rebuild kit for it and replaced the seals. It didnt take so he ended up going with a reman from napa. His truck supposedly only had 45k miles but is a 2001 and this was late last year.

  7. Yes, brakes and brake lights both work with no key in the ignition.
  8. Its down under the dash, above the pedal arm and has a little button that touches the pedal arm.
  9. Just because they are $800 new doesnt mean they are worth it. I would be worried that they are what they are supposed to be buying used. You can get a better built set of injectors for just a few dollars more and know exactly what you have. I would definalty do a clutch first though. I am very happy with my Contagious Diesel Injectors but DFI is the in place to geinjectors from right now. http://www.dfi-performance.com/injectors-2/
  10. Like John said, mine shows 0 too but my comp is definalty working and giving power increases all the way through the levels. Smoke, egts and power are all more on 5x5 than 2x5. I have a scotchlock but its siliconed up so no moisture gets in.
  11. Map sensor is on the driver side of the block, almost to the back, just behind the fuel filter housing. Without clearing the code, you will have to just let the key cycle, I think it's 40 times. Did the truck act up, loose power? Usually you will have no power with bad map.

  14. When mine was acting goofy I spent $35 on a mechanical Isspro temp gauge and mount. It stays right around 192-193 when the dash says 188. I put it 2 ports back from the oe sensor. Do you happen to have a high idle box?

  19. My truck is always oily around the vacuum pump but it does not cover the undersde of my truck and I dont have to ad oil. There is never even a drip on the concrete or anything, wonder if I should even mess with it? Im thinking its more of an oil pan leak than anything.

  22. My 4500 is also a bear to shift now with this Valair DD so I have tried floating gears. 1 to 2 and 2 to 3 I can float but 3 to 4 doesnt want to go without grinding.
  23. I actually put it at the pump now since I put on the later styler filter housing.
