Well had the drive shaft shortened 2 inches and fit perfect u joints were the same used same shockes I used the overloads and spacer from the donor truck and the u bolt plates I also had to get new u bolts made that were 16 inches long took 6 hours with riping the old axle apart not including part running vary straight forward swap also donor truck was a 01 3500 srw
  3. Well the drive shaft needed to be shortened I went with 2 inches out i was told 1.5 to 2 with my configuration so that's at my local drive line guy being cut balanced and new u joints put in so that's good

Ik same here ik I need the ubolt axle plates the u bolts the plates for the top of the springs I don't think I needed the top overloads or the spacer but I got them all the same i plan on putting it all together like the 3500 srw was I also am pretty sure I have to shorten the drive shaft 1 to 2 inches do u want me to do a write up mike ? Also I got a drum rear end not the disk d80 like I ever wanted o well
  5. Well my d70 decided to commit suicide today so I went and bought a d80 i got the u bolts axle plates blocks overloads ect what else needs to be done any one ever do this swap I have a 01 auto qcsb

I am leveled on 35s and can pull 16 to 20 with 7x10s and a sxe 62 68 14 with my tune I run about 850 to 1100 depending on the hill and rpm anything under 1500 rpm and I fall under the turbo but once I get her spooled I cant get over 1250 1300 egt idk man wore vp restrictive turbo bad injectors or tuning issues I also drive with a vary light foot when I'm going for distance and mileage
  8. Are u still trying to pull fuel threw the intank pump or did u remove it
  9. Set your minimum pump tap fueling percentage to 0 and ur tps pump minimum to 40 ur bringing 25 percent of wire tap in at all times that's why she's drinking if I'm correct u need to rely on canbuss fuel for daily and pump tap for play
  10. Lot of people mount it in the down pipe elbow but egts will be 200 degrees cooler then mounting in manifold
  11. I would get get a set of dap 75 or 100 hp injectors for 150 more at least then u know u will have customer support
  12. Iquad v2 with a nice custom tune and probably 75 hp injectors from dap would make u happy
  13. Sounds like u have a bad can sensor again do u have a crank sensor I guess some 01s did some didn't
